Clean, and well equipped kitchen studio. Good shower with instant hot water. Well located for Brecon Beacon. Host Claire was very responsive and helpful, while leaving ample space for guests to get on. On road parking wasn’t an issue. The town itself wasn’t very interesting but the property made it worth it - for easy access to walks etc north.

Sound proof might need some work. We often hear other guests talking and using facilities, which is not normally a big problem but the guest next door got up at 5am every morning and woke us up during the stay. The room door also banged loudly when other doors (and front door) closed - there maybe a quick fix available.

The Studios at Glendale are of the highest standards. My Room was lovely. Spotless and comfortable. The owners had secure bike parking which as i was riding at Bike Park Wales was ideal. There was plenty of coffee and tea with milk in the fridge instead of those annoying little long life packets. My bed was very comfortable too. I'll definately return and i'd highly recommend it to friends as an excellent place to stay if visiting Bike Park Wales.

The only thing i didnt like was the hill i had to cycle up to get to get there!

The house itself was lovely and the property had everything u needed for your stay and more besides. Very convenient to town also and plenty of parking in the road nearby. The property was spotless and very comfortable. Great base to explore the Brecon Beacons and surrounding countryside. Claire the host was very friendly and welcoming and close by should we have needed anything.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Glenthorne and we plan to return in the future. The studio was beautifully designed, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is convenient where you have nearby shops, restaurants and Vue cinema close to you. The host responded to my queries and kindly upgraded our room to a studio at no extra charge.

Very clean, comfortable good size room . I love all the little extras, milk and a bottle of water in the fridge, washing up liquid and cloths in the kitchen. And the Welsh cakes ! It's also a lovely quiet area.

The only thing I can think of, is, there's a small uphill walk from the town centre, but we are in Wales, so that can't be helped !! But it's really good for walking into town , just takes about 15 mins. 🙂

Great kitchenette, very comfortable bed and pillows, hot shower, just overall a nice studio with everything needed for a few days provided. The location was within walking distance to the centre and the bus station too which was convenient for food shopping and hikes. Claire was friendly and helpful when we weren’t able to get into the front door one time.

We were Upgraded to the Largest Studio on the ground floor. Which was to our surprise, also being my Wife's Birthday. Twenty one and a piece of elastic Lol. [both over 70]. very spacious, very clean, very comfortable, with all the facilities. that one would need. The Hosts Claire & Chris were really good and very helpful with parking opposite. due to parking spaces. Would we go back there? a big YES. John.

Nothing not to dislike,

Very comfy bed, warm room. Love having a kitchen andnall the appliances that brings to add extra comfort to the stay. Shower is amazing, and just love the overall decor of the room. The building is very well kept and grande as well as the front.

The review would be a 10/10 if there wasnt a constant noise diaturbance from something in the attic we think. It sounded like a syphon filter for the toilets, or a tumble dryer that had been left on to tumble occasionally. A few seconds of hummimg every minute or so through the day and night.

Our ground floor front room was a spacious studio. Loved the table and chairs in the bay window. Very comfy couch. It had a washing machine/dryer - just what we needed - and a kitchen we made good use of.

Very poor shower pressure. Location is at the top of a steep rise. It's all downhill to the town centre.

From the moment we walked in to the lobby and to our room, we were so blown away about the building itself room size, location, cleanliness. The room was immaculate and we were welcomed with milk and cold water in the fridge as well as tea/coffee and there were some thoughtful items such as a sewing kit, ear plugs, fan ect. The room itself was an ideal size and we were comfortable the whole time we stayed. Was a nice touch having a small sofa and table to be able to eat.The bed was really comfortable and shower facilities were great. We didn’t get the chance to meet Claire but we messaged the day before and received a quick response to our questions and seemed really nice and friendly. We did meet Tracey in housekeeping and she was really lovely and friendly. We were so glad we chose studios at Glenthorne as it exceeded our expectations and feel Claire has created a wonderful place to stay whether be a night or 5 nights like we did
