Century House is a stunning cottage in the little village of Moreton-in-Marsh. It is walking distance from the train station and the town center. Upon arrival we immediately noticed how beautifully the cottage was prepared, even the table was set very nicely. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous and clean.
One of the beds had broken bed slats attachments, making the bed unusable as it collapsed when even just sitting on it. The Century House team was responsive to this situation but couldn’t get the bed fixed in time - which we understand as new parts were needed.

I received early communications regarding how to access the lock box which had the keys for the cottage. Additionally, left the keys there when leaving so checking out was easy. Cottage was clean and everything was stocked up. Additionally small everyday items were in the cottage which made the stay a lot smoother and nice - for example some unopened milk for tea/coffee in the morning.

Century House is in a lovely quiet location off the main road that goes through Moreton in Marsh. It’s a cosy clean welcoming cottage with just about everything you could need. It rained most of our stay so we didn’t use the garden but it looks very nice.
Bed on top floor is very hard! We think it’d would be nice to offer the option for enough logs to be by the wood burner to last for however many nights you are there. Just 8 a night would do. Going to the shop for them in the rain isn’t much fun for old ladies!

It was the best holiday home we've ever been to! Every detail has been carefully considered, cutlery, bedding, towels and toiletries, including small things, like the logs for the fireplace and matches - the hosts even left a welcome basket for us of local goodies. The environment is charming, historic details have been carefully maintained and one could read about the history of the house. We will certainly visit again!
Everything was perfect!

I really liked the cosy feel to the living room, great spacious kitchen and the lovely bathroom. It was also easy to park and walk into town.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. It was well done, and it's an old building, so that comes with it's quirks like ducking your head if you're tall like me :)

A beautiful period property which was spotlessly clean with comfy beds, crisp white bed linen, powerful showers and everything necessary for a wonderful weekend away with friends. Close to all amenities and great pubs. We would highly recommended this wonderful house.

Absolutely beautiful house, we came for a family wedding. Facilities were very good, all in all fabulous, location great, walking distance from moreton in marsh, great communication with hosts, responded quickly to any queries. The only thing which may seem petty was the lack of a toaster but not a ball breaker. Would definitely book again, a real gem of a house Thanks 😊

The property was fantastic: furnished nicely, extremely comfortable and with excellent facilities. The small touches, such as having a welcome basket and being left milk etc. in the fridge, were much appreciated! Check in and out were super easy and we found that the on-street parking bays opposite were almost always available (the only time it was busy was while the market was on). The location was also excellent, being just off the high street, with lovely views of the church.

Beautiful and cozy.
Some of the throw pillows and chair surfaces were a little dirty, which I suppose comes with having many people stay at the house. No outlets in bathrooms to blow dry or curl your hair. Overall, the house is beautiful!

We loved the place!!! Loved the fact that it was modern but the old features were still there. The sofas were super comfortable. The garden was beautiful, sitting outside was heaven. Tones of butterflies and bees flying about sitting having a drink. Bedrooms were comfortable. My daughter and me shared the bed in the room where the TV is and I had 2 great nights sleep. My daughter loved the bath because it was nice and deep. It was so nice that towels were provided and there were plenty. Fans being provided for every bedroom was such a lovely touch. I'd be going back for sure. Location was great, the little highstreet of shops was a pleasure to walk up. Plenty of places for food.
I can't say there was anything that we didn't like. The only tiny issue but even then it wasn't really an issue, were that there were a few light bulbs not working. However like I said it was nothing.
