Dogs I i hate to see dogs in eating areas. It should not be allowed. Not everybody likes dogs

They appeared short of waiting staff but everyone was working flat out and remained friendly and positive. We were required to place breakfast orders the night before which we thought was a bit restrictive but everything worked out well. Room service appeared to be contracted out but they did a good job. Post covid some hotels are trying to ditch room service but swapping this for a free glass of wine does not do it for us. We would stay somewhere else if there was no servicing of our room.

Having to cart our luggage up stairs and to the far end of an old rambling hotel. Not so good when you are 75 years young. We discovered a short cut when we left but it would have been better if told about it when we arrived.

An excellent hotel right in the centre of Chipping Campden, perfect for walking The Monarch's Way as it runs through the middle of the hotel. We were backpacking and were greeted by a kind and friendly receptionist. Our room was spacious and bright, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom equipped with everything we needed (very important if your luggage is on your back). Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with a very good wine list, and the breakfast superb. I'm not selling this as a "Backpackers Hotel", it's just that we always stay in nice places when we're walking, it's part of the reward! We'll be back under more luxurious circumstances soon, and I'll put a frock on. Thanks to everyone at the Noel for a great overnight stay.

The breakfast was copious and tasty. The bed was very comfortable. It is always good to have very hot water in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful when I needed assistance after my departure.

I thought the room (and some of the public areas) were in need of a bit of re-decoration. There was a leak coming up through the bathroom floor which was rather unsightly. The coffee at breakfast was too weak. I think the price of the room is a bit high; I have stayed in better rooms in other hotels at a cheaper price. I guess this is the "going rate" in a place of the stature of Chipping Campden.

Clean room, Very good breakfast in nice conservatory area. Good food and drinks menu. Outside eating area . Courteous helpful staff , Excellent location for all of Chipping Camden and the area - has free car park and nice coffee shop ( which we didn't get time to use ) Friendly town with some nice independent shops - great deli . Lovely weekend to visit nearby Hidcote and Snowshill Ok

Room overlooked car park below and rooms across the way - so you need to close the blinds when using Bathroom . Room a little tired and would prefer a separate shower instead of over the bath .

Lovely room, we had room 6 aka 1657. The room was beautiful, lovely and big with a huge window to view outside. Only downside was the bathroom situation, no overhead shower so we had to hold the shower head up and which caused the floor to be very slippery - there was plenty of towels to resolve this and again everything else in the room was so lovely the shower/bath didn’t matter.

Breakfast was slow. You preorder your breakfast selection but on arrival within our time slot we waited over 50 minutes before receiving our food. The second day was a little quicker but we had issues with the coffee filter, we asked for another pot but this filter was also damaged so no coffee with food unfortunately. Food once it arrived was delicious, get the scrambled egg!

The old style hotel with lots of character and uneven floors with characterful rooms. The bedroom was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and a bath. It was very quiet too. I had a bar meal which was very good and the bar staff were very friendly and working hard. Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive. I would stay again when visiting my Mother another time. I did manage to park right outside as the car park was full but it was Easter Saturday. Parking over the road is chargeable from 7 -7 every single day so be aware. The area is still lovely, although much busier than it was when I lived there in the 1970s!

Nothing!

Location perfect, room though small was comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. Bed was exceptionally comfortable, a rarity for hotel beds. Breakfast selection was ideal, could not be faulted. Staff were lovely, so overall a pleasant stay.

The carpets had stains, and bedroom walls could do with a wash or a fresh coat of paint. Room was quite a bit away from reception so it would have been nice if someone showed me the location when checking in, and helped with luggage on the stairs.

Lovely hotel. Room very simple but very comfortable and spacious with everything we could need. The same for the bathroom. Again, a simple layout but equally spacious and comfortable. We slept well on comfortable beds. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and couldn’t have been nicer. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. We had a good menu to choose from and portions were generous and very tasty.

Breakfast! It was dreadful and such a contrast to the rest of our stay. The buffet was a pretty mean offering and the staff didn’t keep it topped up. The coffee was so weak it was tasteless. The cooked offering was bland and unappetising plus the portions incredibly mean in size.
