Great location and easy to find On our way up to the Scottish Highlands. We were able to take our dog into the hotel .. ! Excellent

The location and surrounding area is the main attraction here. The staff are brilliant and so friendly to our wee dog. The rooms are relatively basic but for a night got everything you need and the beds are comfy but..

The room was small and with a fold out bed for daughter left about 4" gap to get through to go to toilet, bit iffy when dark. Unfortunately there was a large number of tourist buses stopping over and meant breakfast area and the bit where you can sit with your dog was overrun and not very pleasant though the food is good. Being at the rear we got all the noise from the early tourist bus leavers and some have very little manners with noise levels.

The staff at this place are fabulous. I’ve not had better anywhere. Our weekend was a disaster from beginning to end as our car broke down and the recovery service basically failed leaving us somewhat stranded for 3 days (avoid RAC). The staff at this hotel Made a real positive difference to the trip.

Pet friendly is limited to pets being allowed on the premises, there is a massive opportunity to provide pet inclusive accommodation eg pet menus, play areas, beds, bowls.

Room was much larger than expected, beds were comfortable and space was clean. Restaurant was good, breakfast was again much better than I had thought it would be, great parking and super helpful staff.

Signage could have been a little better - took a couple of times around the very large confusing roundabout and a bit of a detour to the next town when we missed the exit first time around to eventually get our bearings, was a little tricky , especially in the dark.

– Ready, easy access to/egress from building via "back door" with dog. – Facility for eating whist accompanied by dog and not affecting other residents. – Location, being adjacent to motorway. – Excellent range and variety of choices for breakfast

– Not knowing before arrival the amount charged for dog. – That I saw nothing on the internet booking stuff that told me how much it was going to be to take my dog. –That the charge for the dog added 28% to the room price, or 57% of the cost per person (2 people) for the one night's stay.

Staff were very helpful , at breakfast time the hotel was very full , and apparently they were experiencing staff member shortage, not turned up for work. however the existing staff coped very well under what i would class as a very busy period for them . As the tables were all busy and a lot of guests in for breakfast. well done to staff.

Could not really think of anything to dislike, to be Honest. enjoyed our stay which was for visiting family and would certainly recommend for anyone who needed somewhere to stop over night or a few days visiting the area.

Everything from the hotel itself, to the facilities. The staff are professional and friendly as well as attentive. They give you all the advice regarding meal times, also if ordering meals in the evening, they advise if there aren’t certain things on the menu and explain what alternatives there are. There are also options available for vegetarians/vegans, and people who require gluten free food. The staff that are on in the mornings for breakfast are also friendly and attentive. The rooms are all kept at a high standard of cleanliness, and I like the small touches such as the way the toilet roll on the holder has a little neat fold on it. I have now stayed over on all 3 levels of the hotel, and have not been disappointed with any room I have stayed in. I like the fact that everyone is catered for, whether it be families with children or couples who have their pets with them. I like that there is a pool table in the main reception area, and also a vending machine on the ground floor which has a variety of drinks and snacks all at a reasonable price.

Cannot fault this hotel at all.

The staff was amazing especially lyndsy and gabby night staff absolutely amazing staff 100 per cent with it all staff was really nice friendly and breakfast was amazing the only thing is would like to see fried eggs and pork sausages but over all amazing clean quiet and very helpful was able to explain my disability and they were 100 per cent with it all

Would like to see fried eggs and pork sausages other that that no complaints at all planning on going bk in Feb for 18 days

Good choice for breakfast, with selection of cereal, fruit, bread, bacon, scrambled egg, sausage,beans,tomatoes etc. The room was clean and comfortable with good hot shower, The hotel itself was at the entrance to the Strathclyde country park with easy access from the M74 and lovely lakes and walks all around.

I found that people could be heard talking loudly when walking down the corridor past the room, but this would not deter me from staying again.

we used this hotel for a pre-arranged meeting and when our guest arrived the hotel staff were very accomodating and provided us with refreshments. As my wife and I are disabled with mobility problems selecting our breakfasts and carrying the trays to a table was a bit of a struggle but that was not a problem as the SAM the young lady member of staff was on hand to serve us and carry our trays to a table ( great customer service ) and the variety of food on offer was incredible. Our room was very comfortable and the location of the hotel was great for onward travel,
