Didn't buy breakfast, I decided to cook my own in one of the two excellent kitchens provided for guests as I had to leave early. The en-suite room was big, comfortable and clean with everything provided such as towels, kettle, fridge, hair dryer, iron, tv etc. Location was great with plenty of bars and shop close by. Transport into city by bus was easy, bus stop outside the hotel, taxis readily available too. Staff were excellent and had our room ready early. Food throught the day, delicious. There was three parking space available when we arrived so parking was easy. Definitely will be staying again!

We may have been lucky to get parked so maybe more parking would be great. Little things like a leaky/loose tap, broken window latch etc not ideal but didn't spoil our stay.

The hotel was in a great location, nice big room and a great price. There was a lovely little bar called the jam jar downstairs (which isn't part of the hotel) that does nice food and drinks at a great price. This hotel was far better than I was expecting with the price

Only a couple of minor things that could have made the place better, it's a self check in and if you check in before 4 you have to go through the back and we couldn't get the code given to work but that's possibly user error. The room looked like it could have done with a bit more cleaning as the skirting boards were a bit grubby. This didn't cause us any issues and we were very pleased with the place overall

We stayed here for a month (first we thinking it’s will be 2 weeks, but our plans was changed😅) and we really enjoyed staying in New George Hotel! Richard is so cute and helpful, he always on tough and will answer all you questions:) In room you find all you need for private needs, also they have common room there you can find microwave, refrigerator, clothes washer etc. Maybe some rooms need renovations, but we don’t feel bad about it🙌🏼 Location is reeallyyy good! West Jesmond have all you need - shops, coffee places, metro and bus stops, it’s only 3 station on metro to city centre. So, I really can recommend this place, my husband and me feeling good about our stay. Thanks a lot!

On Friday to Sunday it’s can be really loud because of students, who lives in West Jesmond and like to have fun on pubs on holiday :) But after 11 pm it’s ok 👍🏻

The room was nice and spacious and very clean and the bed was very comfy, the facility's were great, we had a fridge and a microwave which was perfect for our stay and the shower had plenty of room and the water power was excellent.

Didn't realise that it was online check in and there wasn't staff at the desk, but that was on me and someone helped us as soon as they realized we didn't know what to do, so really there was nothing bad hahahah

Booked at very short notice and was so hapoy with our fund. Spacious, Room 19, own kitchenette, & shower room, despite being on main street, was quiet. Really comfortable bed. Beam in room which was a lovely feature. Parking available

Could smell food from kitchen at times, closing windows and using fan provided sorted this

It had microwave and a fridge ect was good location and easy to access Newcastle city,was comfortable and provided wi plenty of bathroom facilities

There wasn’t any tea and we had to clean the cups out before we could use them. Due to having something sloppy in the bottoms but the stay was good other than that

Lovey central location. Free safe off street parking. Easy and convenient keysafe check in. Comfortable bed. Warm room as it was -3 outside.

Tea, coffee and sugar wasn’t in the room. But there’s a supermarket across the road to buy some.

The room was very spacious and exactly as described, staff very welcoming and a very hospitable place with everything you’d need for a short stay

The lighting situation was a bit rubbish meaning at the height of summer we were waking up very early at 5/5:30/6am, the one blind allowed a lot of light in and there was a smaller window with no blind

Room was great. Big bonus for me was the kitchenette as I wanted to self cater. Room was spacious, light and clean. Great location with plenty of takeaways and independent shops.

Newly decorated and quiet on 2nd floor. Great for central Jesmond. Good communication from owner when arriving to pick up keys. Great for what you pay.

Water in bathroom doesn't get too hot. Locks on doors could be more secure.
