Nice clean, modern rooms. Comfy bed, powerful shower, excellent Wi-Fi

The continental breakfast could do with more vegan options (even some vegan spread instead of just butter for the toast). Some hand soap in the bathroom would have been nice.

bit warm in the room even with radiators turned off. Room 25 is disabled (don’t think we asked for this) with a wet room for the bathroom. when having a shower water goes across all floor and even went under door into main bedroom. Mentioned to staff and hopefully one they can easily rectify for future guests.

The location is excellent with a ten minute walk into the centre of Northampton and the hotel site has free car parking Very good breakfast buffet in the cafe opposite week days and a reasonable continental breakfast in the hotel lounge at weekends. The landscaped campus setting on the river is attractive

The access is not signed from the main road and the Sat Nav post code is for a residential street 200 yards from the hotel. The students are noisy at night one group rolled home at 4am. There is no air con in the room so the temperature is difficult to control

It’s a lovely hotel, and quite well priced. The staff are very helpful and check in is super swift. Small things could be improved 1. Blinds on the windows - those in the opposite campus flats have a direct view into your bedroom! 2. There is an absence of any kind of ventilatio. The building is exposed to direct sunlight so the room is almost too warm once it hits 20 degrees C externally 3. The sealed bathroom unit is quite small. Fine for the average human, but not if you need more space than average 4. There is a lack of basic signage; the door to the lifts has no signage on either side signally entry to the Reception and / or Lift and Stairs to all rooms

Nice hotel, clean and free parking available. However I was allocated a room on top (4th) floor and it was too hot.

Also initially they gave me a disabled double room which I haven't asked because I'm not disabled. I spoke to reception lady and she swapped to a normal one. Apparently there's no ventilation, air flow in the hallway either. The room came with a free standing fan but obviously it wasn't enough to cool down. Would've been nice to have a proper air con. Overall it's a decent hotel. Just need an air con/ventilation on the top floor and in the rooms rooms

I wasn't sure what to expect being on the University of Northampton campus. The room was spacious and well equipped, the ensuite bathroom was excellent and the bed very comfortable. A superb breakfast is served across the road in the University refectory on exchange for a voucher given when you check-in to the hotel. The impressive campus is only around 6 years old and it is only a relatively short walk to the River Nene and the marina, and on to the town centre.

Very clean room and little things like having your own ironing facilities in your room made a difference and made it worth it.

When I saw "free breakfast" I thought it would be a proper breakfast buffet but it was just cereal, toast and pastries. It was quite disappointing to find out that the full breakfast is ONLY available on weekdays and never on weekends. Also, it seemed quite understaffed with the receptionist doing everything meaning we would have to go to the reception if we ran out of milk for example.

The hotel gave me a breakfast voucher for the campus canteen when checking in, which I used the next morning, bit odd leaving the hotel to get breakfast but it was very nice and worth the walk.

Hotel very nice and clean and staff were lovely but even though I paid for two nights I only stayed the first night as I just wanted to go home so I left and stayed in a hotel near the airport as flying out of the country next day.

The location, layout and ease of use/access. The Staff were incredible and so friendly/helpful from very first to final contact.

The Hotel was unfortunately far too hot, as it was late June & 20-25*c+ outside and it was still being heated like a Nursing Home or Hospital. The fan in the room was appreciated, but insufficient to get comfortable enough for a good sleep. The Hotel definitely needs Air Conditioning if it's going to remain at that level of heating all year round.

Great location within University campus. Easy walk to town by canal. Very modern. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was designed to enable visitors with physical disabilities to use it easily

Nowhere to hang a towel or any shower gel only a rail on the door and hand wash for the sink. If anyone staying did use a wheelchair the very heavy table on the accessible side if the bed would have been in the way. Very hot room, so the electric fan had to be used all night even with window open, which also meant the noise from the street was disturbing, especially at 6am on Sunday when an event was being set up- noise from customer cars and buses rather than stallholders.
