From the moment we arrived, we had a warm welcome by Amanda, She is so hospitable and made us feel right at home. She has a genuine care for her guests and this truly set our experience apart. The cozy atmosphere of the place combined with lovely nature made our stay unforgettable. We were particularly impressed by her service, which exceeded our expectations. It's evident that she go above and beyond to ensure her guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you Amanda for your hospitality. We look forward to returning to Northampton in the future and will certainly recommend it to our friends and family.

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room. We were offered fresh milk for a brew which was impressive and really welcome after a 2+ hour drive. Amanda, is very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We were given good advice about local places to eat and ended up dining in the nicest Chinese restaurant we've ever been to - 3 mins walk from the B&B. The full English breakfast was lovely and we had a nice chat to Amanda at breakfast time too. We were even given some fresh milk to take with us in our flask so we could have a brew on our journey home! We selected this location as I had a driving experience at Northampton Circuit, 15 mins drive from the B&B and so the location for us was perfect. We loved Trudie the dog :-)

We really couldn't complain about anything. If we were to be really nit picky: it wasn't entirely clear where to park, but Amanda very quickly advised us where to park. This in no way detracted from our enjoyment.

Everything. On arrival was greeted by Amanda and her lovely dog Trudie. They showed us our room in the front which was bright and airy. Fantastic shower! There was nothing we needed as Amanda had catered for everything. We was going out to eat and Amanda guided us where to go and what restaurants was on offer. Lovely clean and comfortable bed, we slept well. We needed to be out by 8.30 and Amanda sorted breakfast early for us. Thankyou Amanda.....and Trudie for such a lovely and welcoming stay. Will definitely come again x

Nothing to say.

Amanda is a brilliant host, who goes above and beyond to help you in any way she can. The breakfast was excellent. The vibe is relaxed and homely. Amanda allowed us to book in a little earlier than we should have and we truly appreciated her kindness. The bedding was lovely and there is a wide variety of viewing selections on the TV. There are tea and coffee facilities, which we always appreciate. Park across the road and bus stop close by. The bathroom connected to our room was big, bright and had a large, luxury bath.... lovely.

Parking facilities are not great after 5pm at night.

A very twee old fashioned English bed and breakfast. It should have been a ten but will explain later why only an eight. The host was extremely welcoming. The breakfast was lovely with extra thick bacon. Could have done with a few more beans between the 2 of us though. The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. Location was great for the golf course and we found a little old fashioned pub 2 minutes down the road called Ye Olde England serving real ales. We would stay again.

There was no external lock on the bedroom door meaning it was open and unlocked. Not comfortable with that. The room was very cold and no matter how long I ran the tap, no hot water. I think there may have been a fault with the heating system as the owner had a little plug in heater in the breakfast room because that too was very cold.

Such a lovely, welcoming, homey place. Very friendly host and gorgeous super-friendly dog. The rooms are full of character and elegance whilst still feeling very comfortable. Luxurious shower. The host was happy to provide vegan options for breakfast at our request. And last but by no means least, the tree-filled view out of our window was so lovely that we never closed the curtains. It was wonderful to watch all the blue tits hopping about on the branches in the morning.

The breakfast was fabulous. The full English was tasty, hot and the perfect start to the day. The shower was superb with a large cubicle and plenty of pressure on the water flow. The bathroom was equally large and cosy, being lovely and warm, (albeit freezing cold outside), with a great bath too. The bed was nice and comfortable. The host was lovely throughout and clearly wanted to be helpful and make my stay a good one.

It was probably unfortunate but I arrived in the afternoon on one of the coldest spells of the entire winter with snowfalls overnight. I arrived exactly at the time I had indicated on my booking, but my room was cool and the radiator that warmed it was cold at that time. However, by the evening it was lovely and warm. The room TV had a very small screen, inconsistent with the size of the bedroom. There was limited space to store clothes, other than a hanging area.

From the first moment of walking in the door from leaving the next day we felt extremely welcomed It was lovely and warm And an amazing shower and bath We will be back again for sure. Breakfast was absolutely lovely best breakfast we’ve ever had

We did have a couple of problems with the television But we managed to work that out one TV didn’t actually work but we may do with what we had Maybe buying a universal remote just an idea But all in all couldn’t fault, the place best stay ever

Beautiful old building, high ceilings, very grand. Location was excellent for the reason we travelled. Host was very attentive, the kind of person you would like for a best friend. Choice of bed covers, depending on weather and your preference. Breakfast was cooked fresh and tasty. Nothing too much trouble. So many soaps etc provided, even toothpaste!

The balcony not being in the bedroom, it’s private but external to the room. I’m a woman of a certain age and would have liked to have balcony attached to the room for more air flow.

Location was perfect for sightseeing and for the dog as it was opposite a very large park. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Room was great. Bathroom fabulous - best ever. Food tasty. House full of character. Their small family dog actively sought out the company of guests which was very sweet.

Although there was parking it was tight and required lots of manoeuvring to get back out. I feared being blocked in but this did not happen. The busy road on which the house stood meant there was always the noise of traffic but the double glazing shut it out sufficiently. The stairs were not a problem for me but might present a challenge for other less able people and for less athletic dogs. Some creaking from the footfall of people in the room above but no noise of voices came through so not a problem.
