Loved the style of the place. The room was absolutely charming, perfect for a couple with a dog. Lovely comfortable bed. The extra little touches like the pillow spray, fine teas, coffees and biscuits made the room special. The staff were unifomly pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

I thought the restaurant was quite expensive for the quality of the cooking. It was very hit and miss. The lamb was perfect but the crab linguine were over-seasoned. Similarly the breakfast: The bacon was incinerated not cooked. Also the buffet was depleted to say the very least.

Had a great stay at the Bel and Dragon. We stayed in the family room which was great for us. The bunk beds are in a separate area of the bedroom so once the children were asleep we were still able to have lights on and watch TV in the part of the room without waking them.  The staff were fantastic with a special shout out to Anya who greeted us every morning for breakfast and was really attentive and made us feel welcome.  Our little one has a milk allergy and they were able to cater well for him and offer alternative milk etc easily which made our stay so much easier.  We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

The only thing I would point out is the family room is on the front of the building. This is on the main road so you can hear everyone who walks past but it's a relatively quiet street so it didn't affect us .

Breakfast lovely and a great start to our day. Location was in middle of Odiham, great for driving surrounding areas. Staff very friendly. We stayed in the family room which had bunk beds for my two children. Low ceilings, wooden joists, different levels to the flooring, all made us appreciate the historic building we were staying in. Would definitely stay here again.

A little noisy when staying in room at the front of the hotel as two pubs had late night patrons who hung out outside. Still able to sleep ok though.

Location and the room was good. Great service on arrival.

Difference of breakfast between Sunday and Monday was varied. Received the menu on Sunday, ordered, only to be told no Salmon for Salmon Royale. We did get it in the end when they saw how disappointed we were. No butter out, when it came it was solid, both days. No jams etc on the table, salt pot empty. Sunday staff just seemed totally uninterested. Monday staff were good, but same stuff missing from the tables. Ordered soft poached eggs. Waited to tell someone, no one around to rectify a simple issue. Left them in the end.

The hotel is very old with quirks you would expect, steep stairs and uneven floors, that add to its charm. Our room (Oriana) was well decorated and clean , with a large bathroom and a comfortable ( if a little firm) bed. There was great attention to detail with excellent toiletries, fresh milk for tea and coffee in individual mini milk bottles.

The breakfast experience needs reviewing; A separate knife for butter and jam would be good, change the egg supplier for a higher quality, more vibrant egg....and, as a matter of taste, add some colour to the sausages!! Small things, but they make a difference.

Lovely staff, good restaurant and historic pub for evening drinks. Good food in restaurant - though so dark I couldn't distinguish much on my plate! Odiham is very nice.

It's tired in places but I understand it's about to have a refit. My colleagues were in rooms outside and both were disturbed people above/ below them - snoring, bath running and 6am, pacing the floor. I don't think it's a place for a quiet getaway.

The young staff Saturday &Sunday went about their duties with a smile and enthusiasm scored a 10 with us Unfortunately

Unfortunately the older staff on Monday am let their young colleagues down as we waited for an hour for breakfast I then when I could find a staff member why the delay They told me they were waiting for the eggs to be delivered!! When the breakfast did arrive my wife's 'dippy' eggs were hard boiled and my poached eggs were solid also the rest of my breakfast had been kept warm. As we had a ferry to catch we eat want we could and left Just simple communication and they would have had 10 for staff

The room was a great size and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and quite quiet considering it’s above a pub. Everything seemed to be very high quality from the soaps in the bathroom to the tea & coffee in the room to the breakfast in the morning. The location was great, right on the high street with easy free parking behind. For the price we paid it exceeded expectations.

A few small details would make a big difference. The bathroom had some mould stains by the bin and the handle on the shower was slightly broken. There were plug sockets on both sides of the bed but only one side was working. We were told the wrong times for breakfast, and service at breakfast was a little slow and inattentive.

The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet, lovely location

The breakfast was excellent but the tea and coffee facilities maybe need a rethink There was no boiling water for the tea, personal taste but the tea bags made very weak tea, also not enough cups were put out so struggled to get a coffee, either no coffee or no cups, staff were very friendly and I’m sure if I asked it would have been resolved but were awfully busy

The breakfast was delicious. So much choice, cooked to perfection and plentiful. And, cloth napkins! Bedroom was very comfortable and clean and I loved being in my own "area" The washing products were delightful And the sloe gin was an added bonus Staff were amazing, helpful, on top of everything and nothing was too much trouble Easy parking too. Would definitely stay again. Odiham is a very pretty and historical area which was interesting to walk around.

Maybe some tissues in the bedroom? More hangers, there was only one in my room!
