We stayed in room 10, which I would highly recommend. Although all the rooms are of an exceptional standard, they are at the front of the hotel with a large balcony and stunning views. The hosts were very friendly and tentative to ensuring your stay was seamless and enjoyable. The hotel is modern, very clean and in excellent condition. The hotel also offers disabled access and lifts to upper floors with onsite parking. If you stay in Paighton, book this hotel as your 1st choice, and you will not be disappointed.

Breakfast a little earlier than 8 am would have been good as I had to go to work, and my wife said the breakfast was excellent, with so much choice( I am a little jealous 😀).

Owner AWSOME cleaner AWSOME We stayed in room 4 for 7 days it was perfect for us and a walking distance to atleast 4 beautiful beaches and many more to visit with transport, this hotel is on the sea front with beautiful scenery. The host and staff are very friendly, welcoming and always available for any help. I can't wait to stay again. The room and Hotel was immaculately beautiful, the owners should be so proud of them selves for having such a beautiful place. Hard work pays off ♥️

Loved everything

Great location, spacious room and huge balcony with direct sea view. Bright clean and cozy communal area, clean room. Didn’t have breakfast there, but they served it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Despite it said there was no parking we were pleasantly surprised by the available parking in front of the hotel (though first come first take it). And the price for such a dog friendly hotel is just a gift taking out all moaning about what could be better below…

I wouldn’t mind balconies to be “no smoking” too: plenty of space in the garden and all the smoke from the neighbours’ balcony ended up in our room with baby sleeping there. Also for the 5 nights stay I’d prefer my towels to be replaced at least once. And cleaner should know that the towel on the floor is not the one to be hanged back next to clean one 😖)

The decor was beautiful, the hotel was immaculately clean, the staff were attentive, friendly and went over and above my expectations. My room was upgraded from a single to a double. I was originally a solo traveller looking for some space on my own but when asked if my husband could join me it was no problem at all xxxx The food was superb and there was plenty to choose from. The bed was really comfortable and the room was perfect. The location was excellent right across the green from the seafront and close to the town/train station

It's such a fantastic little gem. We booked for 2 nights for a double room with a small dog. The hosts who we met on arrival were informative and friendly. The room was quite small but excellent value for money. There were tea and coffee making facilities along with complimentary biscuits. The bed was very comfortable and exceptionally clean, and so was the bathroom. There are benches placed in a secure garden, which was a lovely addition. We were offered breakfast when we arrived for an additional charge, and I'm so glad we decided to stay for breakfast. The full English was customisable to requirements and cooked fresh. All of the staff we met were friendly and approachable. I would 100% recommend this place to friends and family, and I would stay here again myself. Next time, I'm hoping a balcony room will be available. Thank you for accommodating us!

Central location to Brixham and Torquay. Good transport. Very clean hotel, cosy. Good breakfast facilities. Well stocked bar. Pet friendly. What a lovely hotel, it is a credit to the owners. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is very clean and smells fresh. The bedroom was warm and cosy with tea, coffee and chocolate and complementary biscuits. The towels were white and fluffy. The service was so much better than you would receive in a chain hotel. There were extensive brochures in reception , showing places to explore and all were pet friendly so this saves the time of finding somewhere only to find out, no dogs allowed. James and Gary were great friendly hosts and we wish them all the very best in their future as hoteliers.

Going home

The hotel was in a great location near the beach and close to restaurants too. Adam, our host was terrific and went to great lengths to help us with our bikes and help dry out our clothes which were soaked after a very wet journey. We had a full cooked breakfast which was excellent along with the continental offerings which made it extremely good value. Adam was also a great host during breakfast making sure we had everything we needed and also recommendations for dinner were appreciated too.

Nothing really, if I was to be picky I would say the ensuite bathroom was a little small but that is being very picky!

Everything it was amazing,exceptional, clean homely and the breakfasts were to die for if you needed anything all you had to do was ask nothing was too much trouble ,close to the beach,town,amenities añd I have disabilities so can't walk far but everything was within a reasonable distance

It wasn't a problem for us as I said everything was so close but parking is very limited so you do need to consider that ?

We loved everything about it. The outside looks lovely and certainly stands out amongst the others in the area. We went inside and it was really nicely decorated, clean and fresh. We were greeted by lovely staff who welcomed us and our dog. We were shown to our room when we checked in. It was also lovely and clean. We had a balcony with a partial sea view. Really nice to sit there and have a cup of tea after a long drive or just after waking up. It was our first time visiting the area of Torbay so we didn’t really know what to see or where to go, the owners were more than happy to give us some advice on what to see. The hotel is set perfectly in a central location really handy and not to far from Brixham or Torquay. We can’t comment on the breakfast because we didn’t have any but if it was anything like the rest of the hotel, I bet it was lovely. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better hotel in the area, we would love to return again. Jemma, Ollie and Brooke 🐾

Wonderful weekend spent at this Hotel. James was a superb host and made for a very welcome stay for my Husband and I. Our dog was able to be accommodated, which for us made this hotel a favourite in the area. Paignton seafront green ideal for morning walks. Rooms were spotlessly clean and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Adam new staff member this season is also very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely will return when visiting family. Thank you all for a fantastic weekend 🤗
