Don't delay. Book today,this really is the place to stay. The location is exceptional, with a totally unobstructed view of the bay. Imagine sitting in a beautiful conservatory, which is almost on the beach. Our room was very comfortable and impeccably clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The restaurant should have been closed for some of our nights, but the owner and his wife opened up specially and cooked the most amazing food for us. Throughout our stay, we were looked after incredibly well by a couple who were undoubtedly the best hosts we have ever encountered.

An absolute gem! Good location with lovely sea views. The best breakfast we've ever had! Rooms had everything you needed and beautifully kept. A very quiet adult only hotel, perfect place to rest and relax. Within walking distance of Paignton centre and good travel links to Torquay & Brixham. The hotel owners were very friendly & helpful you could tell nothing was too much trouble if you asked. All in all, it was a fantastic few days when even the weather obliged and was beautiful. What more could you ask.

Nothing to dislike to be honest.

The property was in a very good location to central Paignton and was in a quiet area within good walking distance to the main attractions. We had a sea view room in room 10 and the room was spacious with plenty of storage! The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was included and was good value for money , good amount of options available. The owner was nice- always there when needed!

The bathroom was on the small side!

we absolutely loved staying at this beautiful place. An added bonus was the sun was shining we had opted for a sea view with balcony and managed to relax and enjoy the view. The room was spotless and had everything you wanted to make your stay enjoyable, fresh milk in flasks and soya milk on request. The towels and Robes were pure white and soft. we can’t comment on the Breakfast as we never had any ( we are not breakfast people) but there seemed to be plenty off the menu to choose from. I received a Birthday card from the owners it’s a simple touch but it meant a lot. Free parking and walkable distance to the other end of the Mariner.

Exceptional small hotel. Beautiful decor, comfy beds & pillows, delicious food and perfect location overlooking the bay. Lovely friendly Hosts, Peter and Ruth. Great attention to detail. The Tapas menu provided a lovely evening meal, everything freshly and expertly cooked. Would recommend a stay here, hope we get the chance to visit again. Thank you.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic, peter and ruth could not be more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The tapas food was exceptional. and the views were absolutely stunning. the binoculars in the rooms were a nice little touch to enable us to take in the sights Including ships passing by.

The hotel is not large, being a clever conversion of an early 20th century beach house. It is light and airy, spotless, and is hosted by Peter and Ruth, who take great pride in ensuring guests are comfortable and satisfied. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent, freshly cooked and offering plenty of choice. Great sea views from the room.

There is no lift, but the stairs are well lit and compare with a normal household staircase.

Beautiful location, couldn't get closer to the sea! Modern room, helpful and friendly hosts. We ate in the hotel one evening as we had been walking all day and didn't want to turn out again. The Tapas style menu was great, you could choose as much or as little as you wanted and was delicious. The clementine posset was amazing!

The beautiful decor so clean fresh and in a perfect position at Preston beach just a short walk to the heart of Paington The bedroom was amazing Breakfast was cooked to order nothing was a problem The hosts were pleasant and welcoming Gorgeous views across the water

Breakfast was excellent. Comfortable hotel Felt safe and welcomed being there on my own Good location Good value for money

I was the only guest in the hotel so an upgrade to another room would have been a welcomed gesture. Nowhere to put toiletries near the sink or in the ensuite The room was cold on arrival so took all of my first night to warm up.
