The hotel is perfectly situated near all the major roads to be able to explore the area for Tenby, Narberth, St Davids etc. The staff are really friendly and helpful and appear to work as a close team. We had stopped to pick up some bottled water before arrival and were pleasantly surprised to see some already available in our room, these small touches really do help. Although “small” the hotel packs in a lot, a bar and lounge area to relax in, a restaurant and ample on site parking and its jewel - a cracking generous breakfast to really setup you up for the day.

The decor may be a little dated for some, with a couple of rough edges here and there but that should not detract from all the plus points it has to offer.

Due to heavy fog and a delayed journey, we arrived very late. We apologise for this. The person on duty kindly greeted us and allowed us to check in late. We are very grateful. Due to the late time, we could not eat at the hotel as we had planned, but had to find dinner elsewhere en route before we arrived. Breakfast was lovely, very fresh and nicely prepared. The hotel has a lovely breakfast room and sun lounge, and a very pretty garden. We had a great view from our sitting room over open farmland.

The accommodation was lovely and spacious with a separate living room and balcony looking out onto a field. It is set off the road so very peaceful. Only a couple of miles from Saundersfoot so a good base to explore. We had our evening meal there at short notice for them. It was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely menu choices for breakfast too.

The bar did not have much in the way of ales for my partner and it closed at 10pm but that is a very small thing for a very pleasant overnight stay.

Breakfast, evening meal all excellent. The room was slightly cramped but did not bother me too much as I was only there for 2 nights stay and all you do in a bedroom is sleep. The downstairs lounge was very comfortable and well appointed. A decent bar and I was able to read my book in comfort.

Possibly attention to detail in the bedroom. Plaster around the fire exit door chipped. The bathroom sink had a crack which slowly leaked water onto the floor. Obviously the guest before me forgot to tell the staff as when I reported they said they knew nothing about it. The cleaning staff could or should have reported this sooner.

For the price we paid for our rooms we had an excellent stay. The food was lovely as were the staff. I think there are some renovations going but these do not affect your stay, just the look of some areas. I had a good nights sleep after a long drive and some good food.

If I was to be super critical the bedding could be a bit better, the quilt and the pillows were a bit lackluster but all in all a good stay and yes I would stay there again.

Loved everything about my stay. Everything was immaculate and very clean and comfortable. Bed comfy with clean sheets and towels. Excellent power shower. Excellent breakfast. The views were beautiful! peaceful area with no disturbances. It was a last minute find, and the hosts were perfect! so helpful. I will be booking again to stay here on my next visit.

Upon arrival we were granted with an upgrade to one of the suites instead of a double room free of charge, which we were very pleasantly pleased with. The staff member was very welcoming and the suite was lovely, very hygienic and you can tell the bathrooms have been updated recently. There was a fan in the wardrobe which was very handy and you also were able to control the heating of each room yourself :)

We were upgraded to a suite which was a pleasant surprise (Thank you Julie). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Unusually we dined on all three nights of our stay, but that was because the food was varied, plentiful and of a very high standard. The room, reception, dining and bar areas were furnished to a high standard and the sofa's and armchairs in the bar area were very comfortable. The location was perfectly situated for venturing out and sightseeing. Melanie was a bubbly character, who we had some good and sometimes funny conversation with whilst she attended to us during breakfast, dining and serving us at the bar.

Although this is not meant to offend in any way, as we had a delightful stay at The Manian, but maybe it is an opportunity; the host Julie spent far more time in the kitchen than with her guests. It would have been nice to have had more interaction with her and possibly had the chance to meet Mike, who we never see throughout the stay.

room (no 5) was comfortable, well appointed and well stocked with tea/coffee/milk etc - often something have to request from reception in other places. breakfast was generous, well presented and hot - only had full cooked breakfast on first day as too much food. partner stuck to egg and bacon on days 3 and 4. quality ingredients - especially eggs and bacon and orange juice. didn't have dinner. good to have an overflow carpark which we used on two of the evenings. warm welcome on arrival. excellent location.

the Hotel was lovely with little touches that made it special like the little chocolate on the bed on arrival and a bottle of water something you don't normally get in this price bracket I had a lovely evening meal which was excellent and very good value for money

I don't think it needs to change anything apart from maybe more choice at the bar then people would probably chose to stay at the hotel for drinks
