Location was easy to find, and the staff were more than welcoming and were even helpful in providing me an iron & ironing board so I could sort some clothes out. Everything was well explained to me in regards to how the breakfast service worked & the hotel has even helped me with the necessary steps of sending an item that I left there to me.

I did find that one of the lights in the room didn't work as well as the sound on the TV didn't work below 15, which was too loud to watch in the evening as I didn't want the other guests to be disturbed or awoken.

Room pretty wide, especially very neat and tidy + awesome design. Breakfast gets even brought to your room and all the staff was super nice. In the evening have had a great conversation and laugh with Jakir; many greetings to him personally.

The really only small thing I disliked was the quantity of light getting in the room in the morning.

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Good location easy walk to city centre but quiet location.. Spotlessly clean. Quirky Eastern theme decor in public areas. Excellent Turkish/Moroccan restaurant next door. - run separately but clearly part of the same business. Plenty of free parking.

A couple of minor points. The few clothes hangers in the wardrobe were either not very strong or damaged. I found the shower basin quite slippery - a mat or grab handle would be helpful. There was no breakfast room. One ordered from a range of light breakfast items the night before and this was delivered to the room at one's chosen time slot. Suited us quite well but would not suit every one.

Lovely kingsize bed and two comfortable chairs in the room. Very quiet location with no audible traffic noise. Huge TV at the right height on the wall with very good sound quality.

There were very few teabags (we contacted reception and got a small number extra, plus fresh milk). Unfortunately the smell of the handwash and shower gel in the bathroom was the one 'fragrance' which makes my wife feel ill and which she tries to avoid. (We had brought some soap with us so we had to use that instead.) The coconut smell was detectable in the bathroom when we arrived - a fresh light floral scent would be far preferable.

The room I had was situated in the attic of the building. It was cosy, but with old dated furnishings. Tea and coffee/kettle in the room were good. The best highlight was breakfast choice, which was bought to the room and well presented. Furnishings/accessories in the hallways amd main reception were nice and well presented. Location from Queens way shopping area was close and walking distance.

The mattress was a spring mattress, which was uncomfortable as I could fill the springs against my bony prominence, but once in the bed, I slept well. The shower drainage was blocked and caused me to cut short my time in the shower due to the risk of flooding the bathroom floor. The second day, I didn't hear the door when the breakfast came. I called reception to explain and was told it was outside the door. I opened the door to find the breakfast on the floor without a klosh and was exposed by the step where people would have to step over to go past down the stairs. Steep stairs to the room with heavy bags meant I struggled with my luggage, so an offer for help would have been ideal.

The decor was very well done all the facilities you want a cut above. Good location

Very narrow stair case going up to the room which was in the eve's, quite difficult to carry two bags up too. Door is only about 4' & being 6' + a lot of stooping after a hard journey was tiring. Had to move tea facilities due to being to low to reach + kettle & plugs very low also in eve's. Small 4' door to shower room. Bed was firm which I liked but don't expect a sprung mattress. To make up for that very quirky & nicely finished a bit of a young bachelors pad.

The room was quite spacy with a living room area. The bed was comfortable, breakfast brought to your room is a nice extra we never had before. Air conditioning is a plus. The very good restaurant nextdoor is also a bonus. Location relatively close to the station.

The ground was cracking and making a lot of noise when people were moving, so we heard each time someone moved in front of our door (even during the night...) We were under the roofs, so the view was not bad but you have the inconvenience of getting warm and of little natural light in the room. Fortunately good lighting and air co helped with that. The roof was also too low so we couldn't stand up everywhere in the room. All in all, we had a good stay, but we thought for the price, the value could have been better.

I thought it was a great value hotel. Bed was comfy, although the pillows were far too old and soft (please replace!), room was spacious and clean, WiFi was great, staff helpful, breakfast served to the room was good quality (I had porridge topped with dried fruits), and water pressure good. Food in the adjacent turkish restaurant was tasty, abundant, and great value. The hotel was very quiet which I appreciated, although the walls are quite thin so if you had a noisy neighbour I guess that could be an issue. I travel frequently to Peterborough for work and I'm glad I tried here for a change. This will likely become my regular hotel now. But I do hope they improve the pillows.

Pillows need improving.

The hotel is close to the railway station, so good for colleagues travelling from all over the UK. The rooms are always clean and the bed in room 108 is very comfy. The breakfast is delivered to your room - I would suggest that the beans on toast are put on a dinner plate, rather than a side plate......It is next door to the Tavan Restaurant, where the food is exceptionally good and great value. We had a great business meeting and end of Programme Meal - hoping to return soon

There is nothing not to like. The area is a bit 'ropey' but my car is always safe when I stay at the Pearl. It is a great venue and you will not be disappointed.

Easy to find.... plenty of available parking and free.. Easy check in with very polite and respectful staff The room was more than adequate for our stay... comfortable bed with ensuite bathroom and shower Clean towels provided... Tea and coffee making facilities... TV... wardrobe... work desk and bedside cabinets The whole hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast is served in your room and although a limited choice it was a nice way to start the day. (Order the night before and delivered to your room) Only a short distance to the city centre. The Turkish restaurant next door seemed very popular .. FYI... We were advised if booked through the hotel breakfast is included and a 20,% .. discount is offered.... As we booked through booking .com.. The charge was £4.99...each for breakfast

Nothing.... hotel was superb Disappointed to have to pay for breakfast £4.99.. Because we had booked through booking.com.. And a 20%.. reduction if booked through the hotel website ...
