Beautiful hotel. Plenty of room for parking. Staff was very friendly. Assisted us with our bags to our room. Dinner was amazing, with great views. Breakfast was served in a separate room. Lots of options. Cold and hot items to choose from. Also, the perk for us is we were away from the crazy traffic/town. But this hotel was about 15 minutes away from Portree. So you are close to gift shops, Boots Pharmacy, and restaurants if needed. In Portree you will have to pay to park. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to family and friends.

Not much. But I would say the shower was a little steep to get in and out of. They do have small handles.

The Inn is historic, our deluxe room located on the second floor was nicely appointed and roomy. My son's room was comfortable, but not as large. The restaurant was a lovely bright room with a great view, and the food was delicious. The property was remote and beautiful. The room service, bar manager, reception attendant all were very pleasant to deal with.

These rooms were the most pricey of all the ones we stayed at in Scotland, and I don't feel my expectations were comparatively met.

I cannot rate this hotel enough. We are already planning our trip back. The hotel itself is an amazing building with great history, the rooms are exceptional, the decor is done really well and feels special when you open the door. The bathrooms are amazing, the shower is particularly good. The staff there could not be nicer, they were really cheery, helpful and engaged in conversation. We ate there in the evening and for breakfast. The food is outstanding, even if you are not staying in the hotel, go there just to eat. It is amazing! The location of the hotel is superb, with easy links to anywhere on the island.

Nothing at all, this place is fantastic!

Room was nicely appointed and had great views of the Loch. Breakfast in the main dining room was wonderful each day. Dinners were fantastic as well. Great food and service. Everyone was nice and friendly. The sitting room with the fireplace was great as well. Great soundtrack playing in the background during the afternoons and meals. Beautiful grounds and a short walk to Isle of Columba, which was neat to see. Used it as a base for seeing the sights on Isle of Skye. Would recommend to anyone going in the area.

Great upper end boutique hotel feel. Great Bar and absolutely fantastic breakfast! Best scrambled eggs and fruit I’ve had in a long time. Hostess / Server “Sue” was an absolute joy!

Bedroom very small, but it’s a very old historic building. Kinda far outside Portree. Don’t give your entire dinner order to your server or salad, appetizer and entree and dessert will come out all at once.

STUNNING hotel in a former hunting lodge (I think). Truly exquisite. Breakfast was quite nice (with a continental option and a hot breakfast option); restaurant was quite solid with lovely staff. The decor inside is beautiful, and so is the property (although I regret not walking down to St. Columba's Isle). There's a neat used book store right down the road that's worth walking to.

The property was absolutely stunning, the staff were all incredibly friendly, the room was beautiful, and the food was splendid. The house has been beautifully modeled to maintain its original charm, but also gives some modern touches to be very comfortable.

The price was a bit high for a solo traveler, but well worth it. You definitely get what you pay for, and I do not regret staying there for the night.

Breakfast and dinner was good and in a lovely setting.

Upon arrival, no one offered to assist with our bags. The weather was poor at this point and some help would have been appreciated including help to our rooms. At dinner, it was obvious that the very young staff had no direction from a supervisor. Our waitress was very nice but inexperienced. The lack of managerial availability meant staff were constantly running to ask questions. The cost of staying at this hotel should indicate that more tenured staff are available.

An old hunting lodge/country house about 5 miles from the main town Portree. Well furnished with classic wood panelled breakfast room and modern conservatory restaurant with extensive views over the loch. Luxurious room. Nice walk to local island with ancient ruined chapel. Very friendly staff-especially Sue in the breakfast room who was so helpful. An excellent stay celebrating a special anniversary

A great hotel in a wonderful location. The food in the restaurant is superb and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed in a Garden room that was spacious, comfy, clean and well equipped.

Slightly disappointing to have been left waiting over 30 mins to check out as we had to leave early. However the team did prepare us a meal to take with us as we would not be able to have breakfast.
