A quaint and traditional farm cottage. The welcoming and friendly owner Anne was so hospitable. The old pinewood doors with the latches on. Lovely room, comfy beds, good quality tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast, now myself and my partner didn't have the full English. But the poached eggs were good and the homemade granola with the fruit was delicious. The bedding was good quality and the bed was perfect. Lots of little extras, like fresh little flowers on your bedside table, lovely body wash and shampoo you provided. So I really enjoyed it.

The setting is a farmhouse which feels really warm, comfortable and friendly. The hosts are absolutely lovely. They put themselves out to provide us with early breakfasts on both mornings. The room was cosy, clean and traditional. A heated blanket was fitted on the bed which was an absolute indulgence and very welcome on a cold wet evening in December.

I can't think of anything that we didn't like. Guests should remember what they are booking. It's not a swish modern hotel.

Lovely place to stay, would do so again! Clean, well looked-after, lovely breakfast every morning with all sorts of home-made treats! Anne, the hostess is wonderfully friendly and always keen to chat and make suggestions or help out.

The room was a little small for 2 people for an extended stay, but that is just something with which we have previously been spoiled.

The cottage is beautiful and has been sensitively extended, to provide lovely and comfortable accommodation. Anne was so kind and welcoming, as was her husband. My room was compact, beautifully clean and with high quality white linen. I was warm and comfortable, and enjoyed some cafetière coffee both in the evening and early morning. The en suite bathroom is perfectly adequate - compact and spotlessly clean, with some wonderfully fragrant hand cleanser and shower gel. Anne provided a delicious breakfast of fresh , homemade granola, an apricot compote, home made marmalade and jam, plus delicious scrambled eggs from her hens, and local bacon . I felt relaxed and rested and would definitely recommend as a b&b. Thank you, Anne.

Wonderful breakfast (home-made granola, jams, marmelade and full English) and a very good night in this charming traditional English cottage. The garden is amazing. All in all, a very good experience. We recommend it.

We had the room with the private bathroom across the corridor... not our favourite. A bathtub is not handy to take a shower. We could hear the couple in the room next to ours even if they were very quiet, just talking. We couldn't lock the door when we went out to eat in the evening.

The property is a beautiful old farm cottage. The cottage is set in a beautiful area in a stunning cottage garden. The hosts Anne and Pat are very welcoming. The room was beautiful,clean and had lovely bedding. The bathroom was across the landing and was well-equipped with towels and lovely toiletries. The breakfast was incredible with homemade jams, granola and eggs from Anne's chickens. I would not hesitate to book here again.

Ann and Pat are fantastic hosts, kind and warm people we felt very welcome, and they accommodated our last minute change of arrival time due to a family issue. Ann's breakfasts are not to be missed lovely granola, yoghurt and fresh berries, homemade jams and definitely not to be missed cooked breakfast with a choice of cooked eggs (scrambled delicous) fresh from their garden hens. We would like to visit again, thank you both

Lovely 300 year old cottage- lots of character. Very comfortable, clean and Anne looked after us very well and the welcome we received made us relax straight away. Breakfast fantastic homemade granola/fresh fruit from the garden. Her own chickens provided the eggs to complete a cooked breakfast of great quality. Anne was very helpful and made time to chat to us about our day. We will definitely return when we can.

The very best accommodation will instill the feeling of a home from home. Ann, Pat and Field Farm Cottage provided this on every level. I wish I could have stayed much longer than my three nights!

Everything was excellent and outstanding A warm friendly welcome. The room was furnished to a very high standard and a lot of thought gone into providing all the essentials and extras for example a small vase of flowers from the garden, a range of soaps, a diverse range of reading, as well as ground coffee, fresh milk and a home made cookie. There was a wide choice for breakfast all prepared made and cooked to perfection using best quality products, including home made jams and marmalade . The hosts could not have been better, location in the country was quiet and peaceful with parking very easy lots of easy walks near by the canal or fields.
