Breakfast was very good - good selection of food, good portions, well cooked (excellent bacon). We had one dinner which was good quality and well portioned. The room was comfortable though basic. Good bathroom (the shower was very strong), helpful to have soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers. Nice touch to supply a bottle of water which was replenished each day.

There was an unpleasant smell in the corridor adjacent to the garden and en route to our room, smelt like damp but there was no obvious sign. We had one disturbed night caused by an electrical hum coming from what appeared to be the electric distribution panel in the room. Would have liked some biscuits to accompany the room's tea and coffee facilities.

Location was excellent for visiting many places of interest; our room was spacious and quiet and had blackout curtains; staff were friendly and helpful; breakfast was very good indeed, beautifully cooked and presented, especially the yoghurt and fruit salad; there were 2 electric charge points in the car park, brilliant for charging our car in the evenings

Weather was very warm while we were there and it was difficult to keep the room cool, as our room was on the ground floor so we were unwilling to leave the windows open while we were out. There was a fan available but the noise can be quite annoying.

Breakfast was really good. Nice to have table service for a change. Period setting and made even more interesting with toy vehicle collection on display in restaurant area. Pleasant garden area to sit out in. Evening meal choices were good- I’m vegetarian and it was good to have options. Excellent service.

For me the bed was hard to get into. Lovely to have a four poster and room really nice. But I could have used a step up to the bed!! Took a while to get the heat right on the shower. Towel rail too high! I’m quite short 5foot 1 but the bed and towel rail were awkward for me.

We are returning guests to the Camden Arms because the location is excellent for visiting places in Kent. The staff & owners are all customer focused nothing is to much trouble . The rooms are well equipped & comfortably prepared & the garden is laid out with plenty of garden furniture. The meals are first class & the breakfast is outstanding with a large choice of food & beverages along With free parking the Camden Arms should not be overlooked.

On this occasion we had a creaky mattress in our room but it didn’t deter sleep ,there are no other negatives to this visit.

The hotel was a perfect base for our 3-day visit to historic sites near Royal Tunbridge Wells. Chartwell, Scotney Castle, Ingtham Mote, Bayham Abbey, Chiddingstone, and Hever Castle are all less than 30 minutes away by car. The breakfast was outstanding, and we also enjoyed a meal at the cozy restaurant and pub that is clearly well patronized by local residents, always a good sign. There was ample parking. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Our room was quite small and looked out onto a back corner of the parking area. But it was comfortable and we would return without hesitation.

This is a loverly place to come to with an outlook across the village green also a bus top right o/s to Tunbridge well,Maidstone,& The charming town of Tenderton The Camden Arms serves a really good breakfast with a good choice to suite most people’s start to the day & loverly gardens to relax in to catch the sun & relax. Also a good record of local history in old photos throughout the bar area plus free parking makes a really good package.

The bathroom extractor fan was noisy when Itoperated but it only came on for a few minutes so perhaps I’m being to sensitive.

We really did love everything about your wonderful hotel. The entire team so welcoming, friendly and professional. The meals we had were great - compliments to the chefs - and it was really enjoyable sitting in the pub. or outside in the garden, meeting other guests, staff and locals.

The only things to point out were the stains behind the toilet brush/next to the toilet which we presume is rust and also replacing the blinds (that don't work too well) with blackout curtains as the light is bad first thing in the morning.

Lovely stay at this nice characterful country pub/hotel. All staff were superb, so friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble and felt like they were all trying to make it an excellent level of service. Food was great, lovely cooked breakfast and we also had dinner in the restaurant on night of our stay. Room was very clean, maybe a little dated, but have everything we needed. Good shower.

It's really very minor, but springs in our mattress felt like they would be on their way out soon. We slept fine, but not the comfiest of mattresses.

The room wasn't huge but it was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have large mugs for tea/coffee in the morning. The shower was extremely powerful - be warned! Dinner was delicious with an extensive menu there were plenty of choices for all palates. Breakfast was just amazing. You must try the brown bread which was fantastic. We and our friends all had the Full English; absolutely wonderful.

Everything was to very high standards, but breakfast offered really exceeded my expectations. In my 25 years in the UK I stayed in various hotels dozens of times but never had such an excellent choice and service in this price range.

Difficult to suggest immediately. Probably the check out conditions/time could be better explained, as around 10:40 there was a knock on our door with a staff hinting we were expected to leave. This was somewhat before we actually planned our departure.
