Location was very good. The room was spacious, warm, very clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Excellent.

We didn’t like the dog barking quite a lot outside of our bedroom window. Also we didn’t like having to fill out a breakfast form for breakfast the next morning. Plus having a choice of 8a.m. or 8.30a.m. breakfast. Some items for breakfast weren’t available such as mushrooms and poached eggs. Vegetarian options were very limited. No choice of wholemeal bread or white bread…just 50/50 bread. On the plus side fresh fruit saved the day(or rather the breakfast!) We had to leave early one morning but were told we could have a nice breakfast on the ferry. Both my friend and I felt we were being a nuisance. However Grahame ( apologies if spelling is incorrect) made sure we had tea and cereals.

The Clachan B&B and its Proprieters were very welcoming. Genius how this home was transformed into comfortable guest lodgings. Though only for one night, we were very comfortable in the cozy atmosphere provided. The location was perfect. Just a wee 10 minute walk to the city center one direction and a 5 minute walk to the co-op in the other direction. We were well fed in the morning with whatever of your choosing wether just porridge or a full Scottish breakfast. Deliciously prepared in the on site kitchen. I highly recommend booking here should your travels bring you to Wick in the Highlands.

Absolutely nothing not to like. Very enjoyable.

Great host and excellent breakfast, very comfy and clean room.

Parking is on a first come first served basis, and there is really only room for one guest car, the rest will need to park on the road, which is the main highway, although reasonably little traffic at night currently. The shower pressure and stream was poor, with temperature variation, despite us following the hosts instructions precisely..

We had a very big twin room, very clean and tastefully furnished. It was quiet as well and the bathroom very well kitted and ample places to put toiletries and hang your clothes. We also enjoyed our breakfast.

The shower took a bit to figure out before I could get it to the right temperture. It was an electric shower and it kept getting cold and very hot. I had to put the power dial to eco I think before it stopped changing from cold to hot.

We had ground floor double en suite. Looked like new. Very comfortable accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Very welcoming hosts. Breakfast excellent with the full Scottish breakfast having black pudding and haggis. Parked on the roadside right outside the house which was easy to find. 10 - 15 minutes walk down to High Street with several restaurants to choose from. Convenient stop on way round NC500 route.

Our room was absolutely wonderful. Decorated to a very high standard. Loved the sparkly wallpaper ✨️ The bathroom was beautiful too. Exceptionally clean throughout. The house smelt lovely too! Attention to detail throughout. Breakfast was delicious 😋 and was served in a lovely dining room by a very friendly Graham. We would definitely recommend here 🌟🌟🌟 We stayed just 1 night as we were on the fantastic NC500 🚘🚘

Nothing to dislike!

Spent a week motorbike touring over a lot of Scotland including doing North Coast 500. Having spent 6 nights in different types of accommodation ,principally hotels, none of the others could compare in anyway to the Clachan B&B. 5 star is best way to describe the experience from start to finish. Best B&B I ever stayed in.

Nothing. Only wished every other place I stayed in were even half as good as the Clachan, but unfortunately they weren’t.

it was lovely start to end - Graham welcomed us very kindly and showed us around. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean and there was tea and coffee etc. the breakfast choice was lovely and they have an adorable dog called Oscar whom we were very happy to meet!

Not a lot to say here at all! perhaps could have some decaf tea / coffee in the room and maybe the option of a non-dairy milk for breakfast but other than that can’t think of anything! was a really lovely stay.

Perfect place to stay. Room was very clean and mordern. Bed was comfy too. Graeme & Lydia are amazing hosts and lovely chatting with them. The added bonus was there very friendly dog, Oscar. Breakfast has a wide variety that you can choose your preference the night before too. It is very central to shops, bars, the harbour and Pulteney distillery. Definitely recommend you stay as it was perfect.
