A really nice treat for our wedding anniversary. A would return to pub in the future. Manager and staff great. Dinner of fish and chips was very good.
Breakfast. When I booked I didn't realise 'Breakfast included' meant continental and a cooked breakfast was extra. We both thought there was not a 'good spread' for breakfast and asking for toast each we received one slice. We just thought breakfast was not as good as it could have been but my wife loved the 'overnight roasted oats cereal'. A time to remember though.

We had a fantastic welcome by a young male member of staff (unfortunately didn't get his name, but he is a great asset to your team!) He was friendly, knowledegable and gave us comprehensive information about our stay. Beautiful spacious room with a lovely bathroom, all very clean. Bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast which we chose for the following morning was excellent too. The pub is in a beautiful and very quiet hamlet, great for a relaxing stay.
There was a fairly noticeable fan noise late into the evening, and then first thing in the morning - possibly an extractor fan as our room was over the kitchen? Can't be changed due to the location of the room however and was switched off during the night. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. Food was good, but choice was a bit limited due to choice of only chips or lettuce sides. (Would have loved the fish dish, but there was nothing suitable to go with it such as vegetables or potatoes.) It was Sunday evening, so our arrival probably followed a very busy lunchtime.

Dan the manager was unbelievable! So helpful, so welcoming, we wanted for nothing. He really is a massive asset to the pub. All the staff were also fantastic. We had an absolutely delicious supper and breakfast. The pub was beautifully decorated, both our rooms were gorgeous and really very comfortable. We have stayed in a number of different places in Dorset, due to where are children are at school and I can honestly say we haven't found anywhere better. The village is also very very pretty. And an added bonus is Teals Somerset, a fantastic farm.shop 10 minutes from.the pub. I can't recommend The Queens Arms more highly.
Nothing.

This pub/hotel is working its socks off to provide a luxury stay in an area lacking many options. It’s not quite there yet as there are a few ragged edges. BUT; big comfy room, excellent food, lovely views and fresh modern designer decor. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
Some niggles prevented it being top notch. Though the staff worked hard, service at dinner was a bit slow and chaotic. A badly folded child bed gave a poor impression on entering our room. The bathroom has unfinished paintwork. No grab handle to use leaving the bath/ shower. A washbasin that couldn’t accommodate any items which had to sit on the floor!

Room was clean and tidy with nice decor. Peaceful location. Although a limited selection of main courses available, the food was excellent and we ate in the restaurant both evenings.
As mentioned previously, the selection of main courses / desserts on the menu could have more variety. It’s noticeable that some staff are new and could benefit from more guidance however everyone was lovely with a good attitude and were clearly trying their best. One thing that may make the stay a little better is having menus for breakfast available so it is clear what is on offer.

Beautiful building, lovely decor, huge comfortable bed. Very quiet location. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Despite having space, there was no wardrobe or hangers, just a few pegs. Not really a problem for us for this trip. But if staying for a special occasion it would have been.

Incredibly beautiful building and location. Lovely outside courtyard. Staff were exceptional. Very comfortable bed.
I appreciate that this is a pub with rooms and very good value for money. please put a mirror and/ or a dressing table. It happens all the time. There is nowhere to sit and do your hair and makeup. The food was a little on the average side. For example, the burger was extremely dry.

A really fantastic find! What a lovely place... great location, gorgeous views, wonderful staff, the food is fantastic - we had a delicious dinner and super breakfast the following morning... the healthiest full-English I think I've ever had. Loved the colour palette throughout... beautifully chosen. Rooms were delightful, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Huge credit to the new owners and absolutely brilliant team - without exception, the entire team is terrific - friendly, thoughtful, couldn't be more helpful. We will be back!
Absolutely nothing... glorious place, loved everything!

Appreciate that building is old and perhaps floors thin but upstairs was a herd of elephants :)

Breakfast was great, good variety to choose from. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The whole venue had a lovely luxurious feel and attention to detail was fab. Overall it was a great stay in a fabulous location. The room was large with plenty of space and the bed was fabulous, great shower too.
We stayed mid week and were disappointed with the choice of menu, it was expensive for such basic dishes. Hopefully the weekend menu was more adventurous. Bathroom was large but a little grubby, hairs in the sink and floor, dust and stains on radiator and toilet.
