The Staff were amazing! There were minimal on duty, but the ran around doing everything with great enthusiasm and friendliness. All credit to them.

We were assigned a smaller room than we reserved. The Staff had to scurry around to upgrade us, but did it with speed and no problem. We were offered two free drinks by the owners as a good will gesture. We had a deluxe double room, but it was not as lovely as the pictures. No bathrobes or niceties as listed. Missing tea bags. The television did not do streaming as advertised. Very weak wifi throughout the property, virtually none in some areas. The bathroom sink stopper stuck in the plug hole and had to be wedged out with a spoon.

This is self contained cottage accommodation linked to a country house hotel which was closed to access (mainly a wedding venue). Furnishings are adequate.

Kitchen is equipped but slightly on the sparse side. No initial provisions (eg: tea, coffee, pepper and salt) provided and no matches, gas lighter or automatic ignition on gas cooker. No simple cleaning materials such as dust pan and brush. Mattress not the most comfortable I've slept on. The toilet seat in our accommodation was totally unsuitable for the toilet it was fitted to and obstructed the flush mechanism. A complicated body shower was fitted in the bathroom with no operating instructions provided. When switched on it tripped the main fuse so is probably not working and unsafe electrically. This was not a suitable shower choice for a rented property. Keep it simple! No windows in bedrooms or bathrooms but ventilation seemed good and more an observation than a criticism.

I was lucky to stay in the Burway suite (room 20) which is a double room with it's own 10ft swimming pool and jacuzzi! This feature made the stay such an epic experience! This room also had a changing room area and showers! Also had access out into the clock tower courtyard to look at the nights sky! Netley Hall is a gorgeous mansion house, set in lovely grounds to walk around, the lakes were beautiful! The whole location is peaceful and quiet! Breakfast and dinner were tasty too! We drove into Shrewsbury to experience the historical town and lovely places to eat out! I would definitely book here again, I'm going to keep an eye out for any availability for the same suite... as the luxury of having your own pool to use at any hour was an experience I'd want to have again!

I loved my stay.. but maybe the rooms could have a welcome pack with some information on the house and grounds and with the WiFi code etc However, when asking staff, they were really helpful and friendly!

We stayed in one of the bungalows, this was spacious well equipped, very clean and comfortable, 2 bedrooms, 2 en suite shower rooms, a kitchen and relaxing lounge. We had a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds. Both bedrooms had an en suite and a lot of storage for clothes etc. The kitchen has all you need for self catering, with an oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The bungalows are set around a pleasant lawn garden,you can also have a pleasant stroll around the hall grounds which are beautiful quiet and picturesque.

We arrived after dark, the entrance wasn't easy, we had been told to use the second entrance which we would never have found. After calling reception we were let in the front gate. Again in the dark the signage for the bungalows is poor, we got very frustrated trying to figure out where they were. In the kitchen there are small cups, mugs would be so much more practical.

From the second we arrived we were met with the most amazing member of staff, her name was Annabel. She made us feel so welcome. She actually turned a bad day into a great day for us and can not thank her enough. Throughout our stay we met several members of staff who were all just as great. James the waiter was happy to point out all the local attractions and couldn't do enough for us. I must also mention the food, my wife and I had the two course evening meal which was one of the best meals we have eaten. Breakfast was amazing and filled us for the day. I want to thank everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. We will be back

Staff were amazing, great value deal, beautiful setting and some great food. Bed super comfy.

It was dark when we arrived and the entrance was poorly lit not much light outside, we managed but I have friends with visual impairments who would really struggle. Only gripe with our room, when the heating came on it was really noisy, didn't realise it was linked till I turned the radiators off and the noise stopped.

Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a two bedroomed bungalow within the grounds of Netley Hall. Two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Powerful showers, fluffy towels, very clean. Comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen diner, including a dish washer and all the things needed for cooking a meal. Breakfast in the main building the next morning was plentiful and delicious. The grounds are beautiful and parking is adjacent to the accommodation.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We would definitely recommend this to others and would return if we were in the area again.

The location was stunningly beautiful, as were the grounds, with great views across the lake. The hotel itself was impressive with lovely decor. The bedroom was well appointed with a comfortable bed and tea/coffee making facilities. In particular we were impressed with the large old fashioned kitchen where breakfast was served, and the magnificient staircase.

The shower in the room was too hot and could not be adjusted to be colder. The tap in the sink was broken. Probably our biggest gripe was that all the food (dinner and breakfast) was served on cold plates which is something that we brought to the attention of the restaurant manager as the food did not stay hot enough, and was luke warm.

I have stayed here before and just generally like the feel of the property. It’s very quiet, which is important to us. I like the layout of the little cottages with the relatively large living room and kitchen. The showers have been upgraded since my last day and are now really pretty good.

We had a bit of a crisis on Sunday morning when we couldn’t find any means of making coffee. I may have been using the TV wrong, but I could not find an easy way to access the main streaming channels, which is now fairly standard on TVs in Airbnb

Beautiful grounds and so peaceful and quiet. Building inside has so much character and is grand. Massive rooms and bathroom was lovely, it had the biggest shower. Staff (the lady on night reception from 9 pm when I arrived at last minute) was so friendly and helpful as I asked loads of questions about the place. The lady early morning on reception was equally helpful and very friendly. A nice really warm welcoming and staff presence and I will definitely come back again. Beautiful trees garden and lake to wander round.

Only thing that was a slight issue is the far end rooms don't connect to WiFi and signal isn't great, it can't scan for the other WiFi within the hotel as the receiver is too far away. However, it's an excellent connection if you're nearer to the middle of the hotel.
