The room was lovely with its own garden area and plenty of character with 4 poster bed. Breakfast and dinner [Fish & Chips and Lamb's liver] were both excellent. The bar area was really nice and would be great in winter with a log fire.

Lack of onsite parking can be an issue although we were fortunate and obtained a space right outside the front door. We had a problem with my credit card which was due to expire at the end of the month. Resolved by using another card although the original card was successfully used elsewhere.

Staff were all very welcoming and professional. Food was excellent, plenty of choice, for breakfast lunch and dinner. Our room was just lovely, everything we needed and more, very clean and warm. We chose to eat lunch and dinner in the bar area, as it had a lovely open fire! Menu is the same as the main dinning room. The hotel is very comfortable and perfectly located to tour all the attractions of the Cotswolds. We would definitely recommend, and would definitely return!

Only minor criticism is limited parking at hotel, having said that there is free parking on the street , and we did always manage to find a space.

The Hotel is in a fantastic central location , the Hotel has a history leading back to the 16th century where Charles 1 stayed twice in this period. Hotel has lots of rustic charm and period features intact. Bedroom(Double):- Really good clean room , with tea and coffee machine , Iron , Ironing board , plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Bathroom very nice and clean. Toiletries provided for showering etc and good fluffy towels. Breakfast very good , usual fare , but you could pretty much ask for anything from the menu with a combination of what you like.

Im finding hard to say what we didnt like , maybe parking could be easier , but the property is totally central in moreton-in-marsh village , so it has to be expected , Still i got parked no more than a two minute walk from the hotel on both nights i stayed.

The knowledgeable staff, breakfast, room, atmosphere.... superb. Excellent restaurant for the evening meal but breakfast was a real highlight. The room we had was on the front and yet was still quiet and very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and well equipped...even a rubber duck !.

Whilst enjoying a late evening meal.... of course there is no accounting for other guests, who actually put their child's food on the table ( yes the food driectly on table with NO plate) and proceeded to let the rugrat make mud pies while they swooned !. The staff looked shocked but of course these days they dare not say anthing. Apart from afterwards apologising while they cleaned up.

This property is a 17c coaching inn ,the hotel gives off a great ambience with character features ,inc oak beams log fires and comfortable rooms .The bar area with log fire ,public rooms and restaurant are excellent .The dinner menu would be described as offering good pub food and the breakfast was superb.The staff were excellent ,the bedrooms comfortable with a good en suite ,the rate including breakfast was excellent providing all round great value .We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Not much really for the price.My room was a bit snug but this is a 17c property so understandable,it did not detract from stay.

Historic property with fantastic staff. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Its a good base to explore the Cotswolds. The food was really pleasant, we ate dinner in the hotel most nights. Lovely breakfast provided to the hotel guests that would satisfy anyone.

Moreton in Marsh was one of my least favorite towns in the Cotswolds. its nice but it pales in comparison with some of the other villages. If you have a car Broadway or Burton on the Water or Burford would be great choices. The hotel and its staff are wonderful and the history associated with this property make it special. So if you dont have a car, definitely a good choice but the village is a bit less than other choices.

I had a wonderful stay! The location was convenient, the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was simply amazing, offering a great start to the day. I was particularly impressed by the beautiful service and the serene garden. The energy and ambiance in the room, even on the ground floor, were quite delightful. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

My stay had a few drawbacks. Unfortunately, we didn't receive a room with a bath, only a shower, which was disappointing. The breakfast waiting time was excessively long, about 45 minutes, causing us to nearly miss our train. If you plan to have breakfast, I suggest allocating extra time. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was subpar, and the room felt slightly cold. Some improvements in these areas would enhance the overall experience.

Breakfast was delicious, room was cosy, location is right on the high street so great for access to all the shops etc. Accessible room was a decent size with a nice en-suite with bath and wet room shower setup. Modern TV with all the streaming apps too. Direct access from the room out to a courtyard area was perfect for our little puppy too. The hotel supplies a nice doggy bag of goodies and bowls in the room for food and water was a lovely touch.

Our accessible room was right by the kitchen & utilities, so there was some noise when trolleys where wheeled past across the cobbles outside, but nothing too annoying.

The room was lovely, with even a goodie bag for the dog. The evening meal was great- lovely vegan burger and aparently the slow cooked beef was fantastic. The breakfast was excellent. Went for the vegan cooked breakfast but was offered eggs with it which I was impressed with (as I'm not vegan). Those who had the full cooked breakfast said theirs were really good too and we were allowed to linger over extra coffee. Loved how we could take the dog with us to all meals and to stay overnight- this is why we chose this hotel. We will be back next year, whether or not qwe need to bring the dog!

There is nothing I can think of that could be improved. We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely accommodation, good location, staff very friendly

TV couldn’t be seen from in bed was on a side table along the same wall as the headboard so you had to sit up in armchairs to watch, I much prefer to watch from bed. Was inundated from the time of booking to the stay with emails to book a table which we had already done so this became tedious, then when we eventually sat down to eat 3 of the dishes were unavailable and happened to be what we wanted to order so very disappointing. Settled for sausage and mash which was very nice. But skipped starter and dessert due to choices unavailable again!
