The Belfry is a fabulous destination. Well worth the visit. Excellent Summer Special. However we were not made aware of this even when enquiring about the inclusion of breakfast. This query was directly with the belfry.

Felt cheated as Booking.com advertised this stay which included breakfast; only to find that it was not included by the belfry. Even worse was that the hotel had a summer special on. Even when asking about the breakfast inclusion or exclusion, we were not made aware of this very good special. My stay resulted in an addition spend per room excluding dinner and breakfast!

Stunning location and hotel. The staff were friendly especially in the Ryder Grill restaurant and the Sam's bar :) The entertainment was nice and relaxed in the evening.

We booked an upgrade above the standard room price, but the bathroom was narrow and my friend cut her foot by the door which wasn't pleasant! There were no shower caps or complimentary toiletries, as you would definitely expect from this location and price. Spa area was too busy not relaxing it was hectic, too many people running around in the foyer including therapists, more of a banantyne feel than a 4* relaxation spa!

Exceptional, the stuff we’re all lovely and smiling. A special thank you to Dawn, a lady at the reception and Murius, who works at the restaurant. What a brilliant service we have. My mom and I enjoyed breakfast, one of the best traditional English breakfasts, and it gives you a great start to the day regarding food. All staff was lovely and smiling, they made us feel very welcome, and we felt relaxed and at home. We will surely come back. Excellent spa facilities enjoyed every bit

Limited facilities in the rooms - no bottled water. The room unfortunately wasn’t ready upon our arrival and we had to wait for an hour to have access (the hotel did offer us a free drink but it was a little inconvenient nonetheless) We were also asked to wait for 20 minutes before being able to enter the pool/spa area because we had gone at a time allotted to young families during the school holidays (I would have thought hotel guests should have priority)

Staff were excellent, especially Michelle. Food was great.

Room was a bit disappointing. Taps came on fast and splashed all over floor outside of sink and over my trousers. Towel holder on back of door was broken. Shampoo was empty and so was shower gel. I left my iPhone charger in room after leaving and I contacted the hotel by email to ask if it could be returned and I was asked to write to lost property. Disappointing reply from such a high class hotel venue. I would have expected them to say they would check and return there and then.

The Belfry is a beautiful hotel. The staff are outstanding. Food was good, we had breakfast and the buffet evening meal in the Ryder Grill both were very tasty. We were there for the UK Masters Golf tournament and so very busy but we still had great service!

The rooms were very hot, the fan in the room just not adequate and really noisy so we did not sleep well. I would have liked a refrigerator in the room and also body lotion is a norm in other hotels for the same price.

Staff are amazing, everyone single one of them . Great edition that they recently take dogs ( he was made very welcome) and that’s what helped us to decide to book at the Belfry , two nights , 2 rounds of golf and a spa treatment

I think they should have some sofas in Sam's Bar as the majority of seating is on high bar stools . Also the coffee… I think they should think about having a different brand / make, it’s not the best .

It is a great spot for golfing, family time and relaxing. We had a lot of fun as a family of 9 playing mini-golf, having a nice dinner, checking out all the different spots in the hotel. Each area has a different vibe so it really did have a spot for everyone which is rare.

We were there on one of the hottest days of the year and it was just stifling in the rooms. There was zero air flow and it made it really hard to sleep at all. I thought they could've had some more provisions for the heat in place. We also waited over an hour for our room service breakfast, by the time it arrived the maid was there to clean our room. Months out we tried to book in various activities and they were all fully booked, but when we were there the hotel didnt seem overly busy at all.

spa was nice. bedroom was spacious and comfortable. breakfast in bed option was very good (on time etc) and was wonderful food too. a lot of options for food/ bar and nice atmosphere everywhere.

dust / cobwebs in quite a few areas of the buildings (bedroom and eatery facilities). not very well organised for check in for the spa but that may be down to other attendees and not necessarily the staff/ spa. but the online check in / medical forms could be made a little easier to understand especially when organising for two people or more

Arrived tired and a bit stressed and although it is a very big hotel the staff ensured that it wrapped around you. The concierge, John and Gayle ( i think tha was her name) on the desk couldn't have been more welcoming. Sam's club house bar was a joy to eat in and Holly our waitress was so good as she was attentive without being overpowering. The breakfast was good and hot food although it was being catered for a large number at any one time.

Being alarge but low storey hotel there is a lot of walking involved which, if you have a mobility problem may be a little difficult.
