Staff were brilliant, very polite, professional yet friendly with it, efficient and hard working. Food was really nice aswell very tasty, cheers chef.
Could do with a little updating and a few more things to do, pastimes, games etc. I know it's not everyone's ideal but you don't have to use them, just have the option, pool table, dartboard, boardgames. My partner got called away unexpectedly for a few hours, I was left with just a bar n tv. Maybe utilise the function room during the day and night time when no function on. Nothing major as I did love the place.

Good location for the golf tournament at the belfry. Lovely bar/ restaurant downstairs. Very friendly staff, always attentive. Hotel was clean and well looked after in appearance
Rooms could do with a bit of an update. Beds were not very comfy, hard mattress and flat pillows. We were aware possible music till late which was fine but inside you could hear every voice and movement within the corridors, felt like people were in the rooms with us, we stayed two nights, the first night it interrupted our sleep a bit but by the second it was just normal noise to us so had a better night sleep. I think it was slightly overpriced for the room we were given plus it didn’t include breakfast so I think the prices could be altered slightly

Friendly and welcoming staff throughout our stay and plenty of parking. A lovely location with a beautiful scenic view out of the window, was also nice watching the geese and their babies through the window of the restaurant while having breakfast. Breakfast was yummy and filling and we also ate dinner several times in the restaurant through the weekend too as the menu was great and a really reasonable price. Room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was also big enough that it didn't feel cramped at all. Being around 15-20 mins drive from the NEC was a big bonus for us too, making it easy travelling for our event giving us excellent value for money!
Sometimes could hear people moving around in their rooms next door/above but didn't put us off at all. Still got a good night's sleep every night and would happily stay again.

The staff were amazing always welcoming, friendly and happy too help, especially the young man on reception who changed our room due to our original room being not cleaned, he was extremely apologetic and very approachable ( I always get extremely nervous when I complain ) so a big thank you to him 🙂 Dinner menu 2-4-1 is fantastic, the food is always hot, fresh and tasty, the speed of service and table service is outstanding. Finally the drink prices are reasonable too.
Checking into an unclean room. The venting machine it kept taking more money than it should it cost us £9.50 to get two bags of Chrips and a bottle off water! The breakfast was disappointing this time too, reasonably priced as always, but the lack in choice for fruit and yogurt slightly let this visit down 😢 The apples were also soft and wrinkly.

Great food and very good value for money Rooms basic but comfortable Linda a member of staff made us very welcome and brought a lot of laughter to our group
Our room was supposed to look over canal but instead we looked over main road which was quite noisy We didn't mention this until we were leaving as I knew they would be unable to move us and I thought this was probably an error by booking. Com. Lady on reception was not interested as she was not interested the night before when I told her told her there was no toilet roll in ladies toilets but I did notice all staff were rushed off there feet I would like say a massive thank you to Linda Nothing was too much trouble

The location was great...overlooking the canal and minutes from the Belfry golf club. The breakfast was very good...lots of choice and all cooked and presented very well. Dinner was excellent and great value.
The rooms and bathrooms have been updated but already showing signs of not being cleaned thoroughly, looking tired already. The floorboards in the rooms are very noisy...you hear everyone walking around with the creaking, along with doors closing very hard, we had a disturbed sleep.

Good variety of choices for the cooked breakfast, also different cereals available along with different types of bread for toast, pastries and fresh fruit. This was buffet style with no limit on what you could have. All at a very reasonable cost. Dinner was good and service quick. Our room was ok - comfortable beds, clean. The staff were polite and helpful. A big shout out to Linda - she was lovely and a laugh.
The only thing that let the room down was the heater. We had a triple/family room, so it was quite large, but it only had one small heater that was partly hidden by the dressing table. We kept it on all the time turned up high, but our room was still cold. We were only the ground floor and could hear the children in the room above us running around quite late at night and early in the morning. This isn’t something that could be rectified - kids are kids, but next time I would probably ask to be on one of the other floors. Also, as we were near the door that lead from the bedrooms into the bar/restaurant, there was no door closer or dampener on the door, so it kept being slammed shut.

The location is fabulous for dog walking. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful and welcoming. Was there for Crufts and the treats put out to welcome dogs was a nice touch.
The pillows on the bed were quite thin and so not that comfortable. Weirdly, the pillowcases were put on inside out as well with the tags outside which we thought odd. Overall though not a lot else to note

The food and staff really made our short stay brilliant. Plenty of well spaced tables in the restaurant with a nice little snug to relax with a drink pre or post dinner. Menu wasnt extensive, plenty to choose from and a reasonable waiting time for it to be cooked. Good sized portons, hot and delicious. Desserts brilliant. This place also had outdoor seating alongside the canal, I can just imagine what a delight it would be in the summer months.definitely stay and or dine here again
Dont be put off! The cleaning was not brilliant. Carpet in public areas looked grubby and tired. Some mold in the bathroom not helped by the extractor not working. Whilst the room was well furnished to a high standard, it too lacked cleaning especially under the furniture and behind the bedside cabinets. It felt a little unloved but then has this place been used for HS2 contractors? An chair to relax in would have been nice. A program of deep cleaning and maintance and decoration would not go a miss. Having said that, I would still stay hear again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel easy to get to from motorway and convenient for NEC ( HS2 roadworks permitting). Lots of choice on restaurant menu and was very tasty. At the time of our visit offered a 2 for 1 section as well as other options. Room was clean and we slept well, even on the first night. Enjoyed watching the ducks come for their breakfast!
Would have liked a hook for clothes and a towel rail in the bathroom.
