Room comfortable, we liked the air conditioning and fridge. Staff were very helpful. Good range of items for breakfast. Plenty of parking spaces.

Although we could have checked and maybe resolved this with staff, there was no hotel information (except for safety information) in the room. We presumed that as is the 'modern way' it would be made available through the TV, but throughout our stay the hotel channel was 'service unavailable'. There was no local tourist information anywhere to be seen in the hotel. Cooked breakfast items were cooked, but could have been kept warmer in the serving dishes.

Very friendly and helpful member of staff greeted me. Having tole me there was no food being served, she then proceeded to tell me that i requested breakfast too early. However, she kindly brought me some milk and a bowl of granola to have in the morning, which was very much appreciated. Beautiful location - on the river. Beautiful room overlooking the river. Very clean, modern and even had a fridge. Loved the decor.

Unfortunately I arrived and no food was being served. I requested a 7.30 breakfast, however this was too early for the accommodation. Problem resolved see above. I'd had a long journey, so just had a liquid tea.

Breakfast was very good and varied Good healthy options along with cooked full English. I thought this was of high standard Hotel very convenient location for us as in walking distance of family living in old town We stayed here 2 years ago just at the end of lock down A lot of work has been done in upgrading hotel Entrance to reception is now lighter and there are fresh flowers making a welcoming environment and creating good first impression All staff friendly and welcoming

Staff went above and beyond for us. Superb customer service from the breakfast staff to the bar staff to the receptionist. Great facilities, pool open till late and a lovely warm temperature, gym is 24/7 and lovely lounge areas to chill in. A really welcoming and friendly environment.

We booked 5 rooms for a family stay. 1 out of the 5 rooms window would not open and the air-conditioning did not work. I’m sure if we told staff they would have moved us or fixed it, but we didn’t mention it as the weather was cool, but I can imagine if it were a hotter weekend it would be a little inconvenient.

We loved their breakfast! The products were good quality, fresh and tasty. Good variety was provided. The restaurant staff was polite and courteous. The restaurant itself was spacious and always had a choice of tables available. Our room was good size and comfortable. Well sound proof. Comfy beds with clean quality linnen. Housekeeping did a good job! Everything was in working order and clean. Swimming pool was nice and clean and the water was warm (rarety nowadays!) Nice steam room. Sauna was a little small, but kept temperature well! We couldn't fault anything. Well done to the hotel's staff!

The spa was brilliant, and so were the majority of the staff.

I left my Samsung phone and watch charger when I checked out at 10 am. When I realised and I called to check, a few hours later, on the same day, they came back saying it hadn't been found. I strongly believe it was found and that someone took it as it's not a cheap charger to say the dishonestly has put me off coming back or recommending it to anyone else is an understatement. Which is a shame as the spa was excellent. I'm still waiting on a manager to contact me.

We are a family of 5 and we all enjoyed our 2 nights stay. We mostly enjoyed the pool as the kids love swimming. The breakfast was a luscious beautifully laid spread both mornings much to our delight. Being from the Caribbean, the chef made me a lovely omelette just the way I asked for it which was beautifully done with a bit of extra seasoning even with a little spice to it. The staff were always smiling and courteous. We asked for extra bedding for our daughter's cot which was not a problem and sorted promptly. It was great that all the facilities were in operation as my husband and I look forward to enjoying steam rooms and sauna on our little getaways so that was a treat for us too. I will recommend and return also.

They did run out of pool towels which meant we had to return to our rooms to grab some but these things happen. It really doesn't impact our trip.

Plenty of parking, great location close to the course I was attending. All staff were very friendly and the property clean. The beds were so comfy we had a great couple of nights sleep. We ate the bar menu the first evening and the burgers were amazing. Breakfast was a fantastic choice of good quality food. We used the gym, pool and spa facilities which were great too. We would definitely stay here again

The chair at the desk in the bedroom was a little worn and needed replacing as the leather was cracked.

I liked the amenities, but didn’t like how it was also open to the gym members so apart from guests, there were a lot of people using the facilities.

Room service was a bit slow, I had to call twice for the dinner menu, which took 50 minutes to arrive.

We had a lovely stay here - staff were friendly and attentive; the facilities were great; breakfast was exceptional, with a range of food to choose from and omelettes cooked to order. The location of the hotel and parking facilities made a huge difference for us and we're really pleased we chose to stay here. We'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the area and know we'd happily stay again.
