I travel with my son so I was very happy with the two single beds which was very comfortable also the choice of pillows offer (soft or firm ) . The provision of good quality hair, hand & body wash . I was also happy I didn't have to travel with towels and the choice of how long we could use them. The breakfast was very good and enough to have seconds,the variety & also gluten free alternative.

I found the staff was polite & did their jobs well but I did not find them friendly. I had booked my stay with you in advance but was very disappointed to find the my booking was not in the system so had to wait nervously while the staff find it and then was offered no explanation. It annoyed me.

Ideal location for our trip. Excellent breakfast with good choices. Friendly, efficient staff. Bed & pillows comfortable. The room we were allocated on arrival had a wet room with shower, toilet and basin - lots of useful shelves & good shower.

Room storage space ok for one night but not longer. I believe this room was intended for disabled persons so most of room was wheelchair friendly open space. Found the room & bathroom cold (in mid January) - have never liked the warm air heating in IHG rooms, too slow to respond to needs and motor very annoying as noisy.

Location was good, easy access, plenty of parking. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Large dining room, and small adjacent bar. Good option was to order take away meals. The on-site restaurant was closed, but that turned out to be a bonus. Cocktails were great. Lifts were very handy.

Next time I would request a room on the opposite side away from the main road as there was road nice from 4am. Cooked breakfast and cereal was available, but I was very disappointed with the quality of food, and not hot enough. Cereal muesli was poor, no fried eggs (scrambled egg was dry). Real fruit juice would be a big improvement on the weak flavoured drinks currently being served. Toast and preserves saved the day! The heat/aircon unit in the room was a pain, as it could not be turned off completely, the unit kept turning itself back on again (blowing air and making a din) a few second after TURN OFF was selected. The piped music was not great/

Breakfast was really good. Everything you’d want We had food on the first evening didn’t sound very appealing but was much better than expected. Husband enjoyed his pizza and the children’s chicken goujons were really nice.

I understand people can take dogs to hotel but didn’t like them being allowed where we ate breakfast. Shouldn’t be allowed in restaurant. My small grandson gets asthma and every day when we returned to our room he got wheezy. I did wonder if a dog had been in there as this would start his asthma. I really think there should be set rooms for families with dogs

We are under the impression that we got assigned a room for "disabled" guests, which resulted in a larger room compared to the other rooms, which gave us extra space.

Since this might have been a room especially designed for disabled guests, there was also a door to the adjoining room, probably for people accompanying the disabled guests. This however results in bad sound-proofing between these two rooms as we experienced. It is a pity that no printed information was available in the room in the form of a manual for the use of equipment (activating/disactivating the alarm-system in case of an emergency, TV and other equipment) and no information on the availability of other services in the hotel (like an ice-machine available on the ground-floor; safes available on the ground floor, etc. We were lucky to get the last available parking space when arriving at the hotel at 09:00pm

People in neighbouring rooms......as far as I could make out they were occupying 2 rooms - Irish drunkards! shouting and arguing, swearing, knocking each others doors and fighting. Woke us up at 8am and didnt stop the noise until approximately 9am at which point we were getting up anyway. However, after saying all that I completely understand that this was out of the staffs control. I dont believe they would have taken any notice if a member of staff had told them to be quiet. If it hadnt have been for those inconsiderate morons our stay would have been without complaint.

Everything. Was just an overnight stay, but ,because of the price we paid we never expected the quality once there. Friendly, easy check in. Lift available (brilliant as I am disabled). I was able to book an accessible room which was huge. The bathroom/wet room perfect as I was able to sit in the shower. The bed was so comfortable. The room was spotless & had everything like hair drier, iron etc. Then there is breakfast! Breakfast was wonderful, buffet style, from cereal's to full English & as much as you want. A perfect stay for our visit to Avebury Holiday Inn Express will be our choice for short stays

Nothing. There were no problems. Maybe a couple more Blue Bag spaces, but thats it.

Liked cleanliness, size of room, being able to take dog. Most staff great. Dog treat bag was a good way to share the letter about dog rules.

Beds and pillows hard. Hairdryer not working. Close to staff rooms so dog barked at noises all night. Was told initially that could only bring dog to breakfast if sat at two specific tables. Asked what if they were occupied and told would need to take breakfast back to room. When this actually happened another staff member said it was fine to sit at another table. Gave impression it was a made up rule.

The hotel is in a great location and just off the motorway which meant travelling half way to Exeter was made super easy and convenient. The beds were very comfy and to have a choice of a soft or hard pillow added that little extra. The rooms were compact but comfortable and usable and the bathroom was adequate in size with a good pressure shower.

The Carpark is a little too small and we had to search for a spot. Breakfast was ok with plenty of choice but the eggs a little cold and bacon over cooked and dried out. Fresh orange juice was very watery but in all a good breakfast.

Hotel is in a convenient location. Food is served until 9pm, so suitable for a late check in. Menu is small but quality of food was great. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were allocated a ground floor room, which we had requested. Plenty of space to walk dogs. Clean, tidy room and communal areas. Brilliant price, which includes breakfast.

Bath/ shower panel is rusting on the toilet side, leaving sharp edges. I really don’t like the bathroom/toilet swing door - it takes up too much space and the latch is noisy at night. Charge an extra £25 for the dog, a dog friendly hotel should include the dog fee within the room charge. The air conditioning unit was noisy. The fan in the bathroom is noisy. The place could do with a renovation. Given the price - very good value for money!
