It’s a fantastic period property. The renovation is under process. Amazing building coping with the effects of age and because of beachfront location coping with effects of Welsh coastal weather. We were upgraded and had the amazing balcony room with the enormous newly renovated bathroom. All staff are superb and do over and above to ensure your stay is perfect for you. The breakfast is as good as any you would have on a TUI holiday with lots of options. You cant beat this hotel for a short stay in Tenby. Come on booking dot com users this is a typical Welsh seaside hotel coping with hard times and still standing and smiling. I will be back for more. We had a lovely stay. Thank you so much Imperial Hotel 🫶🏻

The hotel had scaffolding and was in need of a paint and refurbishment. I'm a disabled aged person and had to use the slope and a storage room to get access outside as I couldn't manage the three steps to the entrance. My room was large and sparse. Just the essentials which you need The en.suiteveas new and clean with shower cubicle and a bath I had a patio balcony with a lovely view The breakfast was excellent lots of choice and clean dining room with sea view window seats.was great with kind staff to help me Enjoyed my four days in a beautiful quaint seaside town
The fewvsteps upto my room but manageable. The sparce walls in my room needed a few more pictures. No manual or instructions for a television I wasn't used to

Location is great, most of staff were very nice. Room was of a satisfactory standard. . Room price was reasonable at £195 for a twin room for 2 including breakfast, considering it was a bank-holiday weekend. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, with a little tlc could be an amazing place.
Drinks were over priced, when compared to supermarket prices of the same brand paid £4.90 for a pint of Somersby Cider, £3.99 for 4 cans in B&M. I think the £3-£4 Mark would have been a bit more of a realistic price, which I'm sure you could still make a good profit from. Food could have been better e.g. the English breakfast.

We were greeted at the desk by a lovely gentleman who immediately made us feel welcomed. All the staff that we came into contact with were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and as my mother and father who are elderly, feel the cold they were provided with a heater as the heating was not on. However for myself and my husband the hotel was more than warm enough.
If there had been more choice of gluten free foods on the menu this would have been great. Additional areas of comfortable seating in the bar would of also been a bonus.

Amazing location..! When the tide is in, the sea laps at the bottom of the cliff directly beneath the hotel, and the sound of that, as well as the stunning views if you book a sea view room, or choose to have food or drinks in the sea veiw bar or on the terrace, make for a very evocative and memorable stay. Lovley freindly staff, and the hotel is also very dog friendly, which was important for our stay, because for a small extra fee, it meant that our German pointer was able to come with us. (She was delighted about that, and had a great holiday..! :)
While it is true that the hotel is in need of a general renovation, it is actually currantly under going some renovation in certain areas. Its not 5 star, but then neither is it claiming to be... Everything is a little old and worn, but I didn't actually mind that myself, and saw it as added charm. All its short comings where more than made up for in my opinion, by the beautiful location, freindly atmosphere, and the option to bring the dog.

It was our second time staying here and definitely won’t be our last 😊 the staff are really friendly, that’s one of the bonuses of this hotel. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great! We didn’t have any food, but we seen food get served and it looked delicious! Also a great view of Caldy Island 😊
Unfortunately our window was broke and we couldn’t open it but the staff happily provided us with an extra fan and explained what was wrong with the window and it is on their maintenance list to be fixed. Our kettle wasn’t cleaned but again the staff provided us with another. The hotel is under renovation and we can’t wait to see it finished! There’s some lovely plans ahead for the gorgeous hotel 😊

Location is fantastic, the Receptionist made our stay. Extremely friendly and fantastic customer service skills, hard to find now. The room we stayed in had wonderful sea views. The room was satisfactory and will benefit from the renovation currently happening at the hotel. Tea and coffee in our rooms was a great bonus. We had drinks from the bar & the next morning the breakfast we had was lovely. Staff we encountered at the hotel were all very friendly, would recommend the hotel.
The hotel will benefit from the renovation currently happening

the room was clean, comfortable the view was good but it was not a requirement for us it was spacious. which is a nice aspect the bathroom was well maintained although there was a lot of air in the pipes when running the hot water but we noticed the renovations going on so put it down to that
minor problem the whole room is on a slant but i imagine that has more to do with the building that anything else we did get an early morning call from the seagulls at about 6:15 with them knocking on the window but spikes in the external window ledge will counteract that

We come here every year and we are always made welcome by all. Food is good the lounging facilities are good. We did not like the fourposter bed The hotel is close to everything and the staff only too willing to help. My wife has a wheel chair, we were helped every day by all and sundry. There are of course little things that need seeing to, there is always decorating going on but we accept that. This is the best hotel in Tenby.
The fourposter bed was difficult to get in and out of.

location is excellent. right in town centre. right on beach. didnt have sea view but that didnt matter. the room was spacious but badly in need of a refurb. old carpet old radiator. desperately needed a paint job. but was warm and clean and i had a cheap rate so im not complaining for what value i had. if i had paid summer prices i would have been dissapointed.
i think reception could do with a bit of a more inviting feel to it. its the first part you see and impressions are important. it just felt flat and uninviting. but receptionist was polite and helpful at checkin then after that they never spoke each time id come in if i said good morning or evening they never answered. bad customer service.
