This was a wonderful stay. I will definitely return! The owner Beverley is really lovely and welcoming. The room was quiet and comfortable, including a great bed. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The location is beautiful and quiet but also very handy for reaching nearby amenities (I went to the cinema and shopping at Rushden Lakes and to the nearby National Trust Lyvden). Overall, a really great, authentic, farmhouse B&B.

This is a rustic farmhouse, so you need to expect that. It was a very windy evening and the window frames rattled quite a bit! And although all the important things were spotlessly clean (like the bed and the bathroom), some less-used areas could have done with a wipe. (Same could be said of my own home, though!)

Peartree Farm B&B was excellent and outstanding value for money. Simple ensuite rooms on a working farm in picture perfect scenery. The breakfast was the highlight - in Beverley's beautiful farmhouse and so generous that I didn't need lunch, making the stay even better value for money. The small bottles of real milk in the fridge in the room were a nice touch - so much better than little plastic pots of miserable UHT. Aldwinkle itself had a lot more to it than just a cute name, including a nature reserve with bird spotting shelters, ye olde churches and more. I imagine Americans would be beside themselves at the quaintness. A very pleasant 10 minute drive from Oundle, avoiding the main road, I will definitely be back.

A quiet pleasant village location. Good breakfast. Very enjoyable evening meal (pre-booking necessary) - freshly cooked with lots of tasty vegetables and ability to bring your own drinks and invite non-resident guests. Good table service but privacy also respected when with friends. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful landlady who went above and beyond what would normally be expected to provide extra bedding and heater to meet the needs of an older person. Good sized double room with large bathroom; nice to also have a residents' lounge.

W-fi that kept dropping out from an iPad.

Bev the host was excellent, room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely 😍 the area was Beautiful. Can't fault the place at all except you do need a car because there are no buses. It was raining a lot so didn't get to see the whole area..I wish I had book for 2 or 3 days. Would definitely recommend this place.

Just the rain and no buses. But hey you can't relay on the English weather so no one's fault.

Very easy check in, very friendly host and the room had everything we needed with a coffee stand and fridge! Breakfast in the morning was lovely with lots of choice with a full breakfast, toast and cereal. Would definitely stay again in the future if in the area!

If I was being picky, the bathroom smelt damp however was visibly clean - but that is incredibly minor and everything else was perfect!

An excellent greeting from the owner, this is a working farm and I arrived at about 9pm, there are no lights in the village so it was difficult to find. The accommodation was excellent large spacious room and shower and toilet room again was quite large. Before leaving I was presented with an excellent breakfast as good as any chain but better-quality ingredients. Excellent value for money.

The only downside for me was the mattress was to firm for my liking, although it did not stop me from sleeping.

Beverly was so friendly and accommodating and very knowledgeable about the local area. We felt really well looked after. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. My veggie full English was just as good as the meat version with absolutely delicious eggs, and I don't doubt that with notice they could cater to other dietary requirements too. We happen to stay at lambing time and they warned us people might be walking about at night. Since the room was near the lambing barn I was worried it might be noisy but I slept just fine. The room was comfy, clean and very nicely outfitted. Converted stables, each room with it's own ensuite, really lovely use of the space and the features of the old building but with modern comfort. Nice and cosy despite cold weather. I didn't use the shower in the end but it looked good. Local nature reserve is lovely, with bird hides all around the lake. Didn't see much but it was raining a lot - I bet it's amazing in the summer. The farm staff we met were all really lovely too, and let us come in and see the newborn lambs! Really special experience. Beverly recommended great places to go for lunch and dinner - the Kings Head in the next village was excellent too. Nearby Lyveden National trust is a bit boring in winter - probably much better in the summer. We still had a nice walk though.

Hard to find anything to criticise really. The toilet had an old cistern that took a long time to fill up and perhaps wasn't as economical as it could be? Parking was ok but might be a bit crowded if all the rooms were full I think. That's all I can think of.

We received the warmest welcome on arrival. The owner, Beverly was so welcoming and helpful. We had a tour of the farm and met the animals Beverley and her family are so passionate about their animals and their welfare. The breakfast was brilliant, cereals, yoghurts, full English and more. The farm is a beautiful quiet English village not far from Oundle and it was so relaxing and distressing it was wonderful.

The hosts were lovely and very informative. The farm was amazing! Lovely setting and having the horses, cows and sheep so close by was beautiful. The farm had great character and it was like stepping back in time! Breakfast was delicious. Very rural! Peace and quiet!

Cobwebs at the window but being a working farm, spiders are to be expected!

Quirky old style farmhouse. Bed was comfortable and bedding nice quality. Shower was good and easy to use. The metal shower tray is easy to unhook if you want more space. It was lovely to see the lambs and horses. The breakfast was very filling and well cooked. It was not noisy. Beverley the hostess is a very nice welcoming lady. The area is good for gentle strolls in the countryside.

No vegetarian sausage in the breakfast! But that's it. The tv is small if that's important to you.
