All the staff were friendly and professional and the room was well equipped and functional. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water and great pressure….. better than done £200 a night hotels I have stayed in!

Walls seemed thin as noise could be heard from next door which kept me awake until about midnight.

Everything was better than I expected, I have normally stayed in premier Inn or Travel Lodge, but this was an eye opener. Every thing that is provided in the Premier and Lodges was provided in the Campanile. There was separate heating provided which could be turned on or off to suit the guest (no thermostat that didn't work). The beds and Pillows were most comfortable and soft and the duvets warm. What was most appealing for me was the breakfasts. there was an excellent array of cereal, Toast that toasted quickly and hams and cheese, but most of all the breakfast was just what you ordered and INDIVIDUALLY COOKED, so your breakfast was fresh and hot, (no more cold, hard fried eggs, cold beans, solid strips of bacon etc., it was marvellous. The staff were incredibly friendly and more than helpful. The Campanile is my first stop now every time I travel, especially to Wakefield. I live in the North of Scotland and most all my family live in and around Wakefield. The cost and Travelling and staying in either Premier or Travel Lodge means it's too expensive to travel and see family more than once a year. With Campanile I can now travel more often.

It's difficult to say "Didn't Like" because I did like it, however the Place just looks a bit tired and some areas were in need of a bit of TLC, but for anyone looking at the place, do not be put off by the looks, it's definitely a Swan.

As always very clean and comfy and very good value for money my go to hotel whilst in Wakefield and always will be when travelling there

Whilst I agree with saving the environment so only cleaning the rooms when asked is a brilliant idea you used to knock everyday to see if we needed coffee sugar milk toilet roll etc which you didn't this time only a minor inconvenience but I do feel that should be bought back as couldn't even have a coffee before leaving early this morning my fault should have asked you for some but again was always asked before and often not arriving back to the hotel before reception was closed

Staff was friendly, easy booking in procedure. The location is out the way and extremely quiet. Great view of the car park so I knew my car was safe. Compared to other hotels it was the most affordable in the area and extremely close to food and entertainment venues.

There are some signs that the property could do with some refurbishment in particularly when you're in the bathrooms. The chairs weren't the most comfortable to sit on especially if you are sat working for a little while. The machine to enter your vehicle details in started off simple but after you enter your email address you pretty much don't know what to do next as the screen doesn't give any prompts. Luckily a staff member was at hand to give guidance.

The staff were excellent! I met 4 members of staff during my stay, one was Lucas, and they were friendly, helpful and efficient. Although they were apologetic about not being able to offer hot breakfast, the buffet breakfast has a good selection and was good quality.

The room smelled very strongly of smoke. The tiles in the bathroom had big holes in them. The bathroom had no working fan so the room got steamed up, although I did open a window & door. My main disappointment as a disabled driver is that they're not proper disabled parking spaces provided, ie, larger than normal with extra spaces at the sides and back to unload wheelchairs or push driver doors open wide to be able to swing my legs out.

As always The rooms are Clean, Tidy and welcoming, the bathroom is very clean and spacious and clean towels are great the bed is clean & very comfortable , reception area is always very clean neat & tidy, very friendly helpful staff to assist with any query or issue.

To Be Honest I cannot think of anything at this moment in time, We have stayed at this hotel approximately 8 times during the past 18 months so you must be doing something right as we have stayed in various accommodation throughout Yorkshire prior to this.

Convenient. Very reasonable price. Great staff. Great parking outside room. Lovely breakfast. Great to have free WiFi.

Although the bed was very comfortable, it was very difficult for one of us (the one that had to sleep near the wall) to get in and out of bed. This seemed rather strange in a “disabled” room. Why can’t the bed be turned around and positioned at 90deg to what it currently is? This would allow full access to both guests to each side of the bed - a wheelchair would still be able to “just” get by the bed.

I have stayed here several times before and always found the hotel/motel basic but good. Breakfast is cooked to order which is excellent. Car parking spaces are adequate. The bathroom is small but clean. WiFi is good.

For some reason Campanile don't provide a hand towel here. However they provide two bath towels. Initially the TV remote control did not work (it had been badly damaged). But reception gave me a new remote control. This didn't provide all the features to operate the TV but it worked fine.

Clean and comfortable bed. Good parking available. The staff did an excellent job of making use feel welcome, they were very polite, friendly and helpful.

The room was very tight on room for my wheelchair and shower not suitable for me, no rails or seat and step up into it. The food was not nice, some overcooked and very basic, very expensive for what it was. The room located in an area where you are disturbed during the night with people coming and going. There was a lip to get over into the room and this Jared my back badly. Outside of the hotel was very unclean and uninviting.

Just about everything. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location (though some might initially think it's a bit "off the beaten track) is quite easily connected to the city centre by public transport (even if you decide to go by taxi, it's not expensive)

This isn't the hotel's fault, but there doesn't seem to be a newsagent within reasonable walking distance. I found that surprising, as there is a quite extensive residential area not too far away.
