Great location, clean quiet room, there was an unexpected, simple cold breakfast in the room with the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff in restaurant downstairs were friendly and helpful. Nina responded to my phone call about access promptly.

Minor issues, tv remote did not work, curtain was a bit thin for light sleepers as there was a security light outside. The seal on the shower door let water through. We didn't read the text fully, so didn't find the entrance at first, our fault but a no. 7 on that entrance door would have helped.

The location was very convenient, the room was very clean and the staff were great. The remote to the TV wasn't working, I reported it, and within 10 minutes, we had a new remote delivered to our room. Good value £190odd for two nights isn't the cheapest, but it's not breaking the bank

Our room was boiling, I think we must of had a heating pipe running under the floor. The radiator was off, but the room was uncomfortably warm to sleep in. Parking in a pay & display car park wasn't the best, but it was free after 1800, so it only cost a few quid

The room was clean & comfortable, with some nice touches, and the location is good, just a few yards off High Street. I stayed on a night when the restaurant was closed, so I didn't see any staff at all. They give you the code for the exterior door lock, and your room key is in the door.

I needed to spend some time working on my computer, so I would have preferred a chair rather than a stool to sit on. Parking is limited to a small public car park a few yards away, so could be tricky if arriving during working hours as it's commonly used by shoppers and only has 11 spaces (+ 5 disabled). Should be fine after 6pm however when the charges stop. Use the MiPermit app to pay for parking the night before so you don't have to dash out and buy a ticket at 8am when the charges start.

We ate in the bar, the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly. I couldn't ask for more. The Brisket fries were delicious. I tried 'tobacco onions' for the first time. I've since been inspired to create teh same dish at home for my family. ☺️ They don't serve breakfast but give you cereal, pastries, and theres a communal fridge with water and milk in the hallway. There's a kettle in your room and all the tea and coffee you need.

Easy to locate and the staff were outstanding! Myself and my partner were attending a wedding all day and were unable to just nip and check in. I phoned the staff and explained they explained how to get to the property and how to enter etc passed the check in time with a specific code. I had all the details on text as well which was a life saver after a few drinks lol! Very comfy bed and just what we needed to lay our heads.

Great location in the centre of Whitchurch. Whilst breakfast wasn’t provided there were bowls and cereal in our room and croissants and grab and go bars on the landing plus fresh milk in the communal fridge. Helpful on line advice about taxis, places for breakfast etc. Friendly staff and good food in Reubens restaurant downstairs.

A chair in the room would have been useful. Limited space in bathroom and shower.

The rooms were much better than I expected, if I'm honest! Everything was very clean and nice touches such as the rolled towels and the hot chocolate sachets to make me feel special.

The room was BAKING hot. In fact, I thought someone had left the radiator on. It was nigh on impossible to sleep, even with a fan on. I could have understood if we were in the middle of a heat wave but it was mild with drizzle.

Central location and clean and tidy but no direct contact with staff. Neat bright rooms and convenient for a nights stay.

Had to phone for toilet paper, communal fridge had only two empty bottles of milk, the towel had a big hole in the middle of it and coco pops with two dry bread rolls for breakfast was uninspiring. Was OK for a one night stay. Coffee and breakfast was available nearby.

The room was spotless and the bed very comfy an had a good night's sleep for the night I was there. There were a few spider webs around the outside but you're in a small country village so it's expected. Overall a lovely stay!

Only downside is no breakfast option. But wasn't too much trouble as me an my friends found a very nice cafe near by that did an excellent breakfast.

The proximity to the centre of Whitchurch and being able to access the Blackberry fair so easily also the number of nearby car parks .

The exterior light outside the bedroom that came on and off through the night as it was on a sensor and disturbed us . The fact that the TV didn’t work and although staff tried to help we could only access i player .
