Beautiful property and an awesome place for a wedding or large family gathering.

Shower over the bath needed attention and small double bed in such a large room. Could have easily fitted a queen or king bed.

The whole accommodation was gorgeous. We stayed in an executive room and it was was beautiful and very cosy. Bed was huge. Bathroom large and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good. A lot of choice.

Ordered a drink but after half an hour I had to chase this. Went into the hotel wine cellar bar there didn’t seem to be any staff on, despite other parties having drinks. Shower door closed inwards and therefore was very difficult to actually get into the shower and then the door didn’t stay shut and had to wedge something under it. As we only stayed one night this wasn’t an issue but it would have been a pain if staying any longer.

Impressive castle. Very nicely decorated and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Overall a very cool experience to stay in such a well preserved/maintained castle.

We had no hot water in the bathroom and the reaction from the hotel was quite relaxed. We had to put the kids in the bed skipping the shower. It got fixed after a while. The second night it worked as expected. Guest are expected to wait to be seated at the breakfast but the door is not very visible to the personnel serving people and taking care of the buffet, so people need to wait long time until seen.

Stunning location, the type dreams are made of. Tastefully decorated in keeping with the history of the castle Food was delicious and piping hot. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were always smiling and were very well presented. Room was amazing, shower was fabulous and got, lovely deep bath, and a full stone fireplace within the room.

For us personally the rooms were quite warm, and the pillows were a little too soft, but that is personal preference

Fascinating, historic buildings. Excellent food.

Room was a bit dark without the ability to switch on extra lights. Especially in the bathroom where a lamp over the sink is essential. I had a particularly bad deal on Booking.com which the hotel weren’t prepared to try and sweeten for me. Breakfast only from 8.00 which was too late as had to leave by 7.30 at the latest, although a hot sandwich was offered which was not really what I wanted.

The castle and grounds. The views from the walk to Beeston Castle. The food was excellent..

That we had to ask for service. We were asked if we wanted to see the wine menu, which we replied no. Then after a while we had to ask if we could order our drinks. Then about 10 minutes later we had to ask if we could order our food. Our room There was something sharp on the floor leading to the bathroom. Which we kept catching our foot on. The window banging all night, which we thought was spooky. Only to find out in the morning while making a drink that it was actually open and not locked in the latch. (So our room wasn't Haunted lol)

Almost everything.

Our room had paper thin wall behind headboard. Could hear the conversations going on next door till 1.30 in morning. No fault at all of the occupants they were only talking. We come from a crowded house and nothing usually keeps us awake . It was unfortunate that this prevented us from sleeping . It did not spoil our stay. But you should be mindful that others might think it unexceptable

perfect location in a beautiful part of the country, the grounds and surrounding area are stunning, as is the castle. Hotel staff were excellent.

We hit a busy time at breakfast so I feel it would be harsh to judge, if it was quieter maybe the buffet style would work better, I think personally serving a full breakfast served on request would work far better and would be more comfortable for guests.

Buffet style breakfast good quality produce everything you could ask for in typical English breakfast pastries yoghurt fruit or could have ham cheese fruit cereal fruit juice or continental tea coffee good and toast jams and service was excellent and greeted in the morning with lovely smile Brilliant.

Try to think something aww yes the outdoor seating needs cushion on but apart from that brilliant and I would definitely be returning.

Breakfast was excellent ,room was lovely staff were very good/

There could have been a bit more of a choice in the 2010 Brasserie restaurant ( not just say a rib eye steak ) may be a fillet or sirloin. with only 5 mains it was limited, But what they did have was great. Same upstairs in the 1851 Restaurant its probably lovely food but very limited menu for such a great place to stay.
