Central location. Very friendly staff. Extremely comfortable bed. Love the central outdoor patio area. Good breakfast. Beautiful old building with a lot of history.

To be fair we had been informed about the late night disco on the Fri and Sat and yes, there was a bit of noise until just after 1am but it wasn’t too bad. Not keen on the wet room bathroom as the water did not seem to drain away properly and spread across the whole bathroom floor which meant after a shower our feet were soaked every time we went in. Also the showerhead in our room (room 9) was cracked and so water was spraying out in all directions which meant it was impossible to avoid getting hair wet. Would be nice to include some healthy options for breakfast eg fruit and yogurt.

The serviced apartment was very clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were exceptional. I was very impressed by the staff especially..they were very friendly, helpful and couldn’t help you enough.

I would have loved the television in the living room and the bedroom to have worked better. The four channels in the bedroom were exceptionally clear.. I could only get four! The living room television was unwatchable. A tea towel I the kitchen would have been useful.. and a working fridge(I bought some fresh milk on Thursday evening, it had gone off on Saturday morning..the fridge just didn’t get cold)would be nice as they offered one.

The bed was very clean and comfortable. Check in staff and breakfast staff excellent.

The gate keypad was a nightmare, I tried 4 times to get in last night and then called though for help and the girl who I could see through the gap looked at me and walked away. It was pouring with rain and I got soaked! However the staff inside were super helpful. The same happened again this morning but a man helped me straight away so that keypad needs attention. A few niggles with cobwebs and mould and it was a tad noisy plus the fire alarm went off later at night but then resolved when I was about to leave the room but I understand that might happen.

We were welcomed by a personable, efficient member of staff and quickly shown to our first floor room. After a celebratory anniversary meal at the amazingly good St Martha's Greek restaurant we returned to the Cheshire Cat and enjoyed the outdoor seating area with its booth seating and heat lamps for the cooler evenings. The room and beds were very comfortable and the shower room more than adequate. We ordered one vegetarian and one meat breakfast which were both served promptly and quite delicious. All in all an enjoyable wedding anniversary experience that incorporated a visit to St Martha's Greek restaurant; if you like good food then give it a try!

There wasn't anything to dislike.

This is a great hotel in a good location in the beautiful town of Nantwich. The main part of the hotel is in a very old building, beautifully restored. I didn't eat/drink at the pub within the hotel but it looked brilliant! I was upgraded to an apartment across the street. Great space and would have been particularly brilliant if I had been staying longer. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast that was included was fantastic and I loved that they served it early, starting from 7am.

The apartment could have been a bit better maintained - though it was perfectly clean and comfortable.

We knew we would be arriving later than we would have wanted to, checking in at a busy pub on a Saturday night. However the welcome from the bar staff could not have been better and was probably more welcoming and helpful than many hotels we have used. The room was modern and comfortable and we had no issue with the noise levels (which the venue does highlight to be aware of with Friday and Saturday late night opening). A good night's sleep and breakfast was also of a very good standard.

There were no issues of any note with the stay.

Location was great. Walking distance into town centre. Breakfast was awesome We had a mini apartment with a kitchen and sitting room which was great value by comparison to a standard hotel room at the same price.

Needs a deep clean. I’m not overly fussy but it was dirty. Needs some tlc Lightbulbs in mirror not working, no light bulb in lounge lamp, thick dirt on window sills, water damage in bathroom, damp and mould in bathroom by extractor. Stained carpets, food or blood on door frame in lounge! Wires hanging out of the back of the tv. Just needs a good clean and will be amazing again.

Its in a excellent position in the town... food was excellent breakfast and evening. Staff were more than helpful very friendly. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Excellent parking and free.

The only reason i gave 9 for comfort was we kept banging our leg on the wooden bed frame due to the tight space near that corner. And although the pub has a dj playi g till 1 it didnt bother us and the staff did tell us it was the bar next doors music we could hear however it didnt bother us we went straight to sleep because the bed and duvet were do comfy. We were in room 4

Wow we were totally overwhelmed when we were taken to our room, which was not in the actual Cheshire Cat but the next building along from it. It consisted of bedroom, bathroom, lounge and fully fitted kitchen (with cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, plus mugs, plates, glasses, pots and pans and cutlery). It was home from home. We has a lovely cooked breakfast each day, we will definitely recommend this to family and friends as it was the best place I have stayed.

Would of liked later check out and option of cereals for breakfast but they are minor things which didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience.

Perfect location. Warm and welcoming staff. Breakfast great value, beautiful chunky sausage and all trimmings. DJ on fri/sat old tunes the best. Very comfortable, plenty free parking just at the back. Town centre full of little shops and character. We sampled at least 10 pubs, most of which serve pub grub. This hotel serves great food and big enough portions. The crown is another pub food fav. Would reccomend for future visits.
