We loved this hotel! The room was well appointed and comfortable - the bed and pillows were just divine. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and set us up for the day. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Parking is available within the hotel grounds which is great. The hotel is so well positioned for both Eton and Windsor. There are lots of fantastic restaurants, and what we like to call 'Old Men Pubs' (Real Ale pubs!) so close by - steeped in history and so cozy and welcoming. The Castle is about a ten minute walk away from the hotel, so wonderful to visit and we went to Evensong at St George's Chapel - such a fantastic experience.

The weather!

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable (and nicely large). The location of the hotel is brilliant - on the High Street in Eton, which is lovely in itself, and only a few minutes walk to the bridge across into Windsor, close to the castle. The breakfast was delicious - very fresh, poached eggs cooked to perfection, lovely pastries, classy yoghurts and much more! I was particularly impressed by the fact that I was given a sharper knife (a steak knife type) to cut my avocado on sourdough - I have found all too often in restaurants that ordinary knives can make little headway with this - which was a very thoughtful touch. The bar was comfortable and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The whole experience was just delightful!

I liked absolutely everything!

Where do I start? The hotel is perfectly located about 5 minute walk into Windsor town centre and was easy to find by car. We pre-booked a parking space in their car park and had no trouble parking up. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely receptionist and were checked in very quickly and given a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar which we happily cashed in later. We stayed in Room 4 which is in the main older part of the hotel. This room had clearly been recently refurbished to a very high standard, was spotlessly clean and featured a huge very comfy bed, large TV, ceiling fan and a huge bathroom with a fantastic electric power shower and free standing bath. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided along with biscuits and a selection of teas and coffees. The hotel is accessible 24/7 via key a card. We didn't hear any noise at all outside all night despite it being a Saturday night and could not fault a thing about our stay. A very high standard breakfast was provided in the morning to round off one of the nicest hotel breaks we have had in a long time. Very highly recommended.

Literally couldn't fault it.

Nice looking hotel/motel a short walk from the pedestrian bridge over the Thames into the centre of Windsor. The room was good and had quality coffee bags and tea. The shower was spacious with a good flow of water. The bed was comfortable but too warm. The Internet was around 50Mbps. . There's a pleasant bar. The included cooked breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've had. The black pudding was the best I've had. I should have asked where they get it from.

There was no fridge in the room. Continuous aircraft noise was annoying. Car access requires care. Internet dropped for 15 minutes. The bed was too warm.

Fabulous hotel, super clean rooms, great breakfast and attentive staff, with parking and located a stones throw from Windsor Castle (the hotel without doubt should be rated as 4 star Plus) I would have rated 10 out of 10.

Hotel as I say was fabulous. Only issue for us that we wasn’t aware that the 50th birthday party that was happening on the Saturday evening would have basically closed the bar and lovely bar cosy sitting area. We were asked if we wanted to have our drinks and sit in the reception (we specifically chose the hotel knowing the weather this weekend wasn’t great, and that we had the bar and lovely seating area, however that wasn’t to be, and we had go elsewhere missing out on what was offered) (staff were great, I believe it may have caught them all off guard, and that they didn’t realise the bar area would have become basically closed to the residents that evening)

everything about this hotel was amazing . The location is excellent and a 4 min walk into Windsor . Lovely bars and restaurant near by . The rooms were perfect with lovely bed and pillows . The staff were all so friendly with a lovely young lad who checked us in and a lovely lady Wendy who served us our evening drinks . Lovely touch of a complimentary drink on arrival . Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices . We will definitely be back .

The hotel was in an excellent location to visit Windsor Castle, the restaurants around it were really good, the hotel was spotless clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was my husband's birthday and they left a card and chocolates, they also upgraded us which was brilliant. A big thank you to the hotel for being very accommodating by upgrading our room, leaving a birthday card & chocolates for my husband, moving car park spaces and not charging us for the car park space due to us scuffing our alloy - so a big thank you to the hotel it was really appreciated.

There is onsite parking which is great but the parking spaces are abit tight and we scuffed our alloy on the curb trying to maneuver but we mentioned it to the lady on reception and she was very accommodating and didn't charge us for the parking and we moved parking spaces too, so thank you to the hotel it was really appreciated.

This was our first time to visit the Christopher Hotel in Windsor. The location was about 6 minutes walk from the train station and about 10 minutes from Windsor Castle. The hotel has a lot of history and this adds to its charm. We were in one of the bungalow rooms at the rear of the hotel. These were beautifully decorated, very spacious and clean. We had all the amenities we could want and the breakfast room was very close by. The cooked breakfast was served to us and was delicious. There were many options on the menu to choose from. There were also options for a continental breakfast if you preferred that. The staff of the hotel were amazing and looked after us so well. I cannot speak highly enough of them and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful couple of days in Windsor and if we were returning, we would stay in the Christopher Hotel again. We highly recommend it.

This is an independently owned character hotel. Location in Eton High Street, but the rooms are set back away from the street. The hotel has a quaint bar, and separate breakfast room. The breakfast is freshly prepared AND breakfast is available until 10:30/11:00! The hotel staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. And you will receive a welcome voucher. The room was compact but cosy. The internet was fine.

There’s nothing to complain about. Good coffee and cookies were in the room. Ideal hotel for visiting Windsor and Eton. Both Windsor railway stations are in easy walking distance.

Very comfy room in main house. The staff were super : courteous , friendly and obliging as we traveled by car having the car park was excellent . Location perfect. The welcome drink was a great touch

This may seem a very small thing but we didn't like the silk flowers at the entrance . The building is beautiful- so such decoration unnecessary and we thought less plastic pots going down to car park . A few nice pots ( not plastic) with plants would have been nicer. I think first impressions regarding this could be improved. We are gardeners and don't like silk flowers . We appreciate this is very much a personal view .
