excellent location right in town centre - within easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants and Blenheim Palace. All staff were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a great room, vary spacious, plenty of storage, nice king-size bed, superb overhead shower and excellent heating which was needed for this time of year. Stayed on bed/breakfast basis and the breakfast was superb - particularly recommend the Full English. Buffet style for fruit juices, yoghurt, cereals, croissant etc with everything else brought to your table. Enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal in the restaurant and also enjoyed sitting in the small bar areas which did get busy but never felt overcrowded (dogs were welcome). Would definitely recommend

unfortunately no on-site car parking however we were directed to a "free" car park in Union Street just two/three minute walk away.

Fantastic location for visiting Blenheim Palace, which was the purpose of the trip. We managed to park outside the pub, and for £10, we could park for up to 24 hours; obtain a permit from reception. The bedroom was comfortable with the usual tea and coffee facilities, the room clean and tidy. The staff were very professional and friendly, and the food in the bar and restaurant were excellent; reasonably priced.

The room had an en-suite shower, the cubicle for which is a little small, so for the fuller figure it may be a squeeze, and whilst ok for us, you need to step up in the bathroom. So if infirm at all this may be a challenge.

Great location for Blenheim and the hotel has a really nice vibe, overall. It has become a bit of a tradition for my husband and I to visit mid-late November and we always look to stay here first. Room was in good order and good tea/coffee options. They also now have a small continental brekkie section which I think is a great change. Little jams and spreads as well as top ups on juice etc can be done quickly.

Not too much to report actually. The one niggle was that our portions of scrambled eggs was really very small. I had enough for maybe one slice toast and it was the same for the rest of our family.

Our good impression of the King's Arms started even before we arrived! Molly was so helpful on the phone giving advice about parking (you can purchase a permit from them) and reassurance that they could help me with my dietary intolerances. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large shower, tea & coffee and robes. The food was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We especially loved their avocado, tomatoes, basil, & eggs on sourdough for breakfast (how do they get that to taste so good) and we also had the Sunday roast. All were delicious and they could not have been more helpful with my dietary intolerances. The King's arms is situated in Woodstock, which is a lovely place to visit and just a 10 minute walk into Blenheim. We loved our two night stay & would highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike. The King's Arms is on a corner, but the windows are double glazed so we slept like logs.

The property is situated right in the middle of Woodstock. Our room had character but was modern and well equipped. Some people commented on traffic noise but we were supplied with a big fan which drowned out any street noise and kept the room pleasantly cool. The full English breakfast, which was served in a lovely bright dining room, was huge. There was plenty of choice to have instead/ as well as.

No hotel parking and although we were told there’s a free car park near by (NOT called Union Street, if it ever used to be. It’s called Hensington Rd car park no matter what google and other reviews on here say) we suffered some anxiety when we could see that you’re only allowed 12 hours parking in any 24. We didn’t want to have to move the car at 5 in the morning! A member of staff could have provided us with a permit to park in the street but that was £10 for 24 hours so we found a lay by and risked it.

Good location. Really cosy I loved the room. Liked listening to the rain out the window through the night. Nice and warm and good facilities. Dyson fan (I have one at home so this is my comfort thing) very nice coffee machine. And made use of the bath. Lovely girl who I checked in with made me feel at ease.

The drainage in the shower was a bit dodgy. All the water filled up and leaked out the door. But still lovely. The guy doing the breakfast was friendly but did make me feel a bit uncomfortable cause he thought we had just walked in randomly. But we were staying. The girl at reception told us to just go sit down.

We stayed in the Oliver Room, it were massive, loads of space and a lovely vanity area. Bed was king size and firm, which we both like. Complimentary water, tea coffee etc in room, dressing gowns, lovely bathroom/shower. TV There was a Dyson cooler/warmer/ thing in the room which was really good at getting the temperature down. Although on a busy road, double glazing meant we sleept really well. Dinner that evening was lovley - couldn't fault it or the service from the staff. Breakfast was excellant, I had the Eggs Bennidict and my husband had the full English - nothing bad to say about either of them. Front of house staff, she were so lovely, when we left the following morning I informed her that we were going to buy an umbrella before we started our day, she gave us one for free - just amazing! Would definately go back if in the area

Nothing - such good value for money and also felt really homely

The hotel was beautifully decorated and in a great location for sightseeing in and around Woodstock. We loved the size and decor of the upgraded room. Good hot breakfast options.

No parking near the hotel (but appreciate that is a council policy). No hanging space in the room (wardrobe was locked?). Teas and coffees not refilled. Towels cleaned every day BUT we should be asked if we want them to be cleaned that regulalry - most hotels are aware of their environmental responsibiities and encourage guests to let them know when they would like them to be replaced, especially for short stays. We are surprised that Fuller's doesn't operate a policy like this. We would have liked some muesli for breakfast and possibly some more vegan options. Coffee was lukewarm.

The hotel is in a very good location, just off the market square and a short distance from the entrance to Blenheim Palace (at the other end of an old street). The hotel is in an old building which is full of character. We liked the bar area which had a good atmosphere and stocked with a good selection of drinks, The room was nicely decorated and conformable. The breakfast room was nicely decorated with a high glass ceiling. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked.

The wifi was not reliable and also only accessible by putting in your email address

Beautiful rooms (we stayed in a king room). Can’t fault it, there was nothing missing I can think of. Very clean with all amenities you need and more! Lovely bathroom. Fantastic, plentiful breakfast with quality produce - all enjoyed in a beautifully decorated breakfast room. Lovely, polite & helpful staff. Great location for Blenheim and Woodstock.

Parking was a pain, but that’s more an issue with Woodstock than the hotel, there is no where to leave the car longer than 12 hours. The only local car park does not allow overnight parking so need to move to street parking after 6, then back again in the morning.
