Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Not the largest of rooms but was fully equipped with even a little fridge in the room and a fan.Great location right in the centre of Woodstock with easy access to the Cotswolds and Oxford plus on the doorstep for BlenheimPalace. Good tastey filling breakfast. Friendly staff. Very good value for money. They also do a delicious Sunday roast.

The only downside was parking, plenty available but needed to get up to buy extra parking every morning. However that certainly wouldn't put me off staying there again.

The location was excellent. Lovely areas to enjoy a drink especially the courtyard at the back . Food in the restaurant was excellent and large portions!! Good variety as well. Wine list was quite extensive for a pub. Room a little tired in the decoration but did not affect our stay. Had a view over the main street which was excellent. Quiet all night even with the windows wide open. Very clean and tidy.

Maybe because Poland had just been knocked out of the Euros the waiter in the dining room was very uncommunicative. The breakfast waitress although very efficient, gave the impression she really couldn't care less. No smile or small talk.

Very cute boutique pub hotel right in the centre of Woodstock. Lovely friendly staff and it just had a nice relaxed homely feel to it.

Not a ‘didn’t like’ but constructive feedback to possibly have something like a muesli and fruit option on the menu and maybe starting it half an hour earlier. Ladies, I recommend taking a mirror with you for hair and makeup. The lighting in the room is a little poor and all the plugs seem to be on the side of the room away from mirrors 😁.

The staff were lovely and accommodate our last minute change of dinner booking. The room we were staying in was clean, cozy and warm, with a lovely view of the street. If you are staying in this property, I would definitely recommend booking a dinner with them as it was superb!

One downside is it can get quite noisy with the pub downstairs. They do close around 11 so the noise does die down around that time. We didn’t mind it that much but definitely one to keep in mind if you plan to go to bed early!

Really warm welcome. Clean fresh room. The bar area had a real local feel but we felt as though we could have one of those locals. All the staff served us with a genuine smile on their face. We also ate there and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Nothing we did not like. It is an old property and you could hear creaking as people moved in other bedrooms , this may upset some people But it did not detracted from an excellent experience for us

Outstanding food and huge welcome from all staff Dave was so helpful and took bags to our room while we stayed in the bar and soaked up a great atmosphere by a real log fire-delightful. Gorgeous food for our evening meal and breakfast this brekki was included in our stay. Good value and central to Woodstock.So many independent shops to explore and park and ride worth a go for a bargain return trip to Oxford all day £5 for 2 adults. We shall return.

As is typical of these types of property some areas on the way to the rooms were dark and uneven, and maybe slightly better gluten free options on the breakfast would have helped. But that’s really nit picking as the place was just what we wanted and great value

Exceptional customer service, attentive and friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Location could not be better.

Our room was a bit small in the roof but that was reflected by the very reasonable price. It had everything we needed for a one night stay. It might be worth pointing out to future guests that there are a number of steps to climb to get to this room.

Location and parking in the street was great. Great breakfast, lovely patio garden which we had drinks in. Helpful staff.

We had room 5 and it was very comfortable but the mirror was on the wall opposite the bathroom but there was no switch near to use the hairdryer. The cord did not reach the mirror from the nearest plug.

Fabulous breakfast. Perfect location for visiting Blenheim Palace. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Pub itself is lovely and very cosy. I wouldn’t call our room (1) Boutique. Needs a little TLC, shower surrounds, sealant, cobwebs on ceiling. Not sure why there is a large coffee machine taking up room when you don’t get any coffee pods? Bed very comfortable.
