Peter and Carol have thought of absolutely everything. The apartment was spotless with everything you could possibly need and more. From the warm welcome from Peter, when we arrived, to all the little extra touches, we were immediately made to feel at home in their beautiful apartment. 2 people in our family have mobility issues, this apartment was ideal for them as it was all on one level from the front door (there are 3 small steps up to the front door). It is in a lovely quiet area, with a view of the river from the living room. A nice easy walk and you are in the centre of York and there are shops, restaurants and pubs all nearby. It really is everything you could want for a stay in York and more.

first impression a little decieving . what a lovley appartment thought we was going to be let down .but my word could not ask for anything .better. the location is good. sainsbury,s on door step. Peter was very imformative and helpfull. very nice guy. there was milk,bread, cerial ,butter jam pots buiscits, chocolate. only 1 thing letting down in kitchen no egg poacher not the end of the world . had a good week end aroud york . will be going back.

We were met by the very wonderful host Peter who was very informative about the accommodation, the area and things to see and do. The food supplies that were provided were not only very welcome, but more than enough and very much appreciated. The apartment was very spacious for the 5 of us and lovely to have a small outside rear garden area to have a drink in the early evening sun. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Very quiet despite being near the main road. We didn't travel by car but there is a very useful car park to the front of the property provided. There were fans, extra sheets/duvets & blankets (if required) a few board games and tourist leaflets all provided and a pleasant change to have more than enough toilet roll. I would definitely stay there again.

The only thing we would suggest is a king size bed would have been a better option than the double and the front bedroom could do with a blackout blind as the early morning sun does shine straight through the window.

The apartment is very well equipped and is within easy walking distance of York city centre. We were met by Peter on arrival and shown how everything worked, which was good. We also managed to park both of our cars in the apartment block car parking spaces.

With four adults staying, we felt an extra comfy chair would have been a good addition to the lounge as one of our party had to sit on a dining chair in the evening as there wasn’t really room on the sofa. Apart from that it was all good!

The host was very friendly, accommodating and helpful . He showed us great hospitality and met us at the apartment . The place is comfortable and has many nice and thoughtful touches such as provision of bread, milk , tissue papers and air fresheners in toilet which we didn’t experience in other yen in my trips. Also we had a private area to park our car and the apartment is on ground floor .

Only one toilet but we still managed to take turns amongst 5 pax . If heater in the rooms can be switched on till early morning will be good as we did feel a little chilly in the morning :.

Host was very helpful and welcoming, kind and friendly. There were great welcoming touches, tea & coffee, bottle of wine, milk cereal. Layout was good, location excellent.

Some fixtures and fittings were tired, cracked veneer on cupboards in kitchen and bathroom, dish washer not fixed well into cupboard. Mattress was uncomfortable and didn’t suit my back at all. Was generally clean but not completely, bathroom and sitting room needed a deeper, more careful clean.

It was lovely to be greeted when we arrived with a great orientation of the place. The host was very generous with chocolates, biscuits and breakfast essentials provided for us. The kids enjoyed the little garden in the back, and the games available for them. Very spacious and family friendly. We only spent a night, however we were offered to leave the car in the morning in the car park after check out so that we could tour York without any parking issues as the location is only ten minutes walk into the centre.

The apartment was very central and clean, with free parking which was brilliant for the centre of York. The owners were great, they meet us on arrival and showed us how everything worked they also decorated the apartment with banners and balloons for our friends 50th birthday, which was lovely. There was lots of freebies, like milk, biscuits and sweets and a good selection of breakfast items, which was a nice surprise. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Peter and Carol

Thanks Peter and Carol, we are welcome by Peter with warm and smiling face，the house is nice with lots of foods and snacks provided such as bread, butter, jam, biscuut, coffee, tea，milk and conflakes. We were so hungry upon arrival, we could just simply enjoy a tea time then we could go to attractions within 30 mins foot walk. We just have home feeling and will highly recommend to friends coz Peter will explain to us how to use the utilities detaily. we have a reakky nice experience in York。

It was really nice for us all, the beds were comfy and everything was sparkling clean. Plenty of towels etc. the table was laid out lovely for us and Peter was very thorough showing us around and welcoming us to York which was a great start to our holiday! We were also very grateful of all the breakfast stuff as we had a long trip so it meant we didn’t need to worry for our first morning. The parking was nice and easy and it was great not having to worry about paying for a car park, everything made our stay very easy! If we come back to York we will definitely choose this place again!
