We saw the reviews about check-in being an issue, but it was a breeze for us. We received an email around 245 pm with our room number and door code with a map of the property. The door lock was easy to figure out and no front desk line to deal with made it that much easier. Our room was in the middle of the property and looked brand new. After calling for a few extra towels after we had a spill, the girl at the front desk said the property was completely renovated. The property was close to some restaurants in buellton and about a 10 min drive to solvang. Definitely staying here next time we are in the area.

This is basically a motel with no front desk, no voews, and I was the first visitor to stay in room 18. There were 4 rooms done with the remodeling and all 4 rooms had bookings. The room was nice, clean and like a nicer motel 6. Definitely nit worth $350 a night and the walls are papee thin. At 3:15 am a bizarre sound woke me up, I had no idea what such a horrible sound could be after aboyt half an hour I realized it was snoring growl sound with another sound that was indescribable. I called the Sedewsy Inn which is the number asdociated with the Hygge " hotel" peonounced HUGH-GA and they gave me a 10% discount which doesn't makeup for my lack of sleep. A shame because the bed was super comfortable and the pullows sheets and comforter where great. I didn't care for the Coffee available, for $350 a night you woukd expect a nice Keurig or Nespresso with flavored coffee, creamers and raw sugar. I could if stayed at the Santa Ynez Marriott for $229 a night witg far better amenities and quality. I travel a lot so I know hotels. Ir was clean and it was nice there was parking in front of my door and no stairs. It's l8cated right by the frwy and down the street from Pea Soup Andersens, Vaca Creek Golf Course and Sanford Winery.- ask for Debbie Kennedy the head wine educator she's AMAZING! If you like Pinot Noirs or Syrahs your in for a treat.

Room is very small, no lighting by lugagge rack and hanging rid for clithes. Nice hangers. Thin walls you can hear neighbor snoring loudly. I already mrntioned above that this is a motel architecture and conversion with none of the hotel ammenities etcetera.

The Scandinavian decor was excellent! The bathroom was really cool, and I loved that they had full bottles of Malin + Goetz shampoo, conditioner and body wash (of which I am now a huge fan of because of this stay!) The bed was comfortable and I liked that there was a mini fridge in the room where we could store our restaurant leftovers. A light continental breakfast of a danish and orange juice was dropped off at our door in the morning.

It’s a bit removed from everything, but if you’re just looking for a place to lay your head down then it’s incredibly worth it. It’s essentially a renovated motel so the rooms are a bit on the small side.

There was a stain on my sheet like on the left side that looked fresh 😬 like food stain or something. Kind of a lot of texts before our check in time. Also annoying to have to call TWICE before check in bc they didn’t know (?) i had reserved two rooms so they didn’t put my credit card for both rooms. Plus when u book online you shouldn’t have to call at all imo

The room was small but comfortable with good style. It’s a cool update of an old motel… and has potential.

The property overall felt unfinished and kind of lifeless. The virtual check in is convenient but also makes it impersonal and lacking hospitality.

No staff or lobby on site, unaware had to call for access of room. Sawdust on door handle. Wooden wall in bedroom was rough and not finished. Sharp metal on bathroom walls and feeling very dizzy in bathroom from all the small tiles. table lamp’s shades too big for bed side tables. Need two chairs and table in the room. Faucet was spraying all over. Bathroom would have better with white grouting. No info about the wifi.
