The location was fantastic! It was right as one enters the city, so that you can walk to the city attractions. Solvang is a walkable town especially when the temperature is nice, and we were fortunate to have a beautiful cool sunny morning. We walked to a breakfast place, after which continued our walk into town to buy pastries and cookies, and souvenirs, and we got back to our rooms not at all exhausted but ready for a nice rest. The rooms we rented were clean with very comfortable beds, and the bathroom was nicely designed with perfect lighting and clean pleasant smelling hair and body washes, and a lovely lotion. I didn't realize that the rooms had steamers to unwrinkle clothes, so I requested an iron and ironing board. The guest services young men didn't question my request, they just did their best to locate what I was asking for and deliver it to my room. I felt a bit foolish when I realized the room had a steamer, but thank you to them for just making an old lady happy.

No complaints

Very convenient location. Easy to walk to restaurants and shopping, all within 1-5 blocks. It was Christmas so we just asked for extra towels one day, rather than have to housekeeping services on Christmas Day. Front desk, bar area all very friendly and helpful staff.

My only complaint would be that I didn’t realize that we would be on the second floor with no elevator but, that was on me because I didn’t ask.

Excellent stay at the Hadsten Solvang. Exceptionally clean, east parking, comfortable room and friendly staff. Add to that a great location, and it's perfect for a visit to Solvang!

A pool would have been nice, breakfast dining options were poor, we were expecting a wider range including some Danish options given the location! Being a former motel, the communal areas are small, and most guests go out for breakfast etc, so the atmosphere is not as good as it could be.

Exceptionally comfortable room. The bed was extremely comfortable - like, beyond any hotel I've ever stayed at before. The hotel renovations were really top notch.

My only complaint is that we happened to be there on a night where some kind of bachelorette party was happening in a nearby room. The walls were a bit thin and we heard every dance party and drunken conversation quite clearly. But they wrapped up the really loud stuff by 11pm at least.

This is a gorgeous property! The bar and the outdoor space is so clean and beautiful! We sat outside at the fire pit and the service was fantastic! Such a great vibe! Bonus, it’s walking distance from everything in town. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved it and have nothing negative to say.

Location is perfect - just at the start of town. Parking is free and easy to access. Mattress is incredibly comfortable, room is spacious. Gym was well equipped, Cold cucumber/lemon water freely available in the lobby.

Shower head puts out a very high pitches squeal when in use - needs repair.

The lobby was so chic and modern, as was our room. The location was incredibly convenient; it was walking distance from restaurants, convenience stores, and just minutes away from the 101. Our room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. 10/10

Everything was amazing.

Love the remodel. The outside courtyard area is really nice with fire pits. The bar area is cute. Drinks were good. Food was just average.

The front desk agent upon check-in wasn't very friendly but we did encounter a really nice lady the next day when we needed another key.

We liked everything about staying here. This property was completely remodeled one year ago. They did an excellent job. Just beautiful and very clean. We also liked that there is a bar and restaurant on the property.

With added fees this hotel is a little pricey.

Rooms were clean comfortable nicely renovated. Restaurant was good. Loved the outdoor fire pit area. Staff was great!

Was hoping there was a jacuzzi to relax in. Also the pillows were great quality but much too thick to sleep with. My husband and I both had kinks in our necks.
