The breakfast was shockingly good! I didn't realize and wasn't planning on going to your restaurant but I'm glad I did. It was perfect. I've never had food and drink pairings that I've liked until now. I just saw afterwards that the place is for sale. If it snowed more in solvang I'd buy it!

The only item that wasn't mind blowing was the overnight oats. But you know what, sometimes people don't want a bunch of crazy flavor.

Breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, within walking distance of most downtown locations. They have an elevator, which is helpful if on the second floor, and schlepping cases of wine. We would like a little more protein for breakfast (they had yummy yogurt)...e.g. hard boiled eggs? Limited parking behind the hotel but a large vehicle will need to park on the street in front of the hotel.

Very good location. Everything is walkable. Beautiful building. Clean rooms.

No coffee maker and needs a dresser with lots of drawers.. The mattress needs upgrading. Room locks are old style still using an actual keys. They want to retain authenticity but we're already in 2024. The building is already authentic but the locks needs upgrading for me to feel safe. Also the bed linens and towels are old needs to upgrade too. I want a crisp linens for the price of the rooms

The Inn itself was very quaint! The staff was VERY attentive. The restaurant was excellent. The shower was excellent - large and well lit. The facility was very clean. There was wine in the room if you wanted to partake which is a nice touch. My mom needed a step to get into the bed which was a bit high, and they found one for her, which was lovely.

There were 2 steps to get into the bathroom, which we knew about before going. I was travelling with my 91 year old mother. A handle to hold onto would have been nice. The toilet was a bit low. The two chairs in the room were a bit rickety. I think there was a concert venue nearby and we could hear them, but it wasn't a problem - it didn't go late.

It was a beautiful location with clean, spacious rooms. They also have an incredible restaurant attached that’s highly rated. Lastly, their staff was top notch.

I wish there was a small table and chairs in the room to eat on. I also wish maybe a glass of wine came with the $100/person meal at First & Oak as it would’ve felt more of a value plus it would’ve highlighted the house wine without having to send us 15 mins down the road.

Our romantic and charming high ceiling room was very comfortable and clean, with 3 armchairs, closets and nice furniture. As it was in the third floor, it was very silent, we were able to have a quit resting night in a great bed. No noise at all at the third floor, even facing the street, with plenty of free parking space. There’s a small elevator to bring the luggage, but using the charming stairs to leave the room was much more exciting for is. There are adorable art pieces! We had five stars breakfasts outside the hotel, as the location is wonderful, close to restaurants, stores, museum, etc.

I didn’t like the shower curtains because they weren’t odor free.

Lovely quaint building, beautiful room, friendly staff 😀 Probably the highlight was when the lift stopped short with my brother in law...twice, couldn't stop laughing 😆 🤣

Shower a bit dated and hard to adjust.

Short walk to downtown, but far enough to avoid noise. Staff was friendly and prompt with any requests. It was quite hot while we were there. The staff made sure we had plenty of bottled water while we were there. The room was perfect and we really enjoyed the soaking tub after a long day of walking in the heat.

It was charming and enchanted! The lady who checked us in was beyond kind same as everyone else!

I would like to suggest having options at breakfast for people who is lactose intolerant, like some vegetable milk?

The service was great - all of the employees were super helpful and pleasant. Had dinner there the first night...it was delicious. We had breakfast each morning...also great!

The bathroom in our room could use a little bit of upgrading...it was a bit underwhelming.
