We loved being able to see the ocean! The rooms were very well designed and the unit was bright and airy. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were very good. The underground parkade was handy and secure. The staff was friendly and housekeeping supplied what we needed on a daily basis.

The construction noise was a bit annoying but we were made aware of this when we booked. The bathtub plug didn’t work snd the bathtub was ridiculously shallow. The carpet needs replacing as it was stretched badly in places.Also..it would have been nice if a restaurant had been on the property or at least close by.

Comfortable, clean and well maintained property. The property is a little older so could use some renovations which I think they are working on. The staff was friendly and lets us borrow beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and even a life jacket for our kids.

there really isn’t a beach across the street. we walked across the street right when we got to the property and there was a rocky cliff and not much sand. We did have to drive to the beach, but it was only a short drive down the street. Not walkable with beach, chairs, and umbrella. It only takes about five minutes to drive into Carlsbad but there are definitely no food options anywhere within walking distance of the hotel. the benefit to this is that the property is quiet and there is never a problem to come and go as you please and to find parking.

The resort was clean, beautiful view, location was great.. quiet but not too far from the city.. They had an adult pool, kid pool, fire pits around the property ready to go. BBQ grills available to use. The room one bedroom suite was amazing. Ocean view with a garden tub.

There wasn’t direct beach access, but a small walk to the shore

The ocean and sunset views were very nice. The oceab bluffs were easily accessable.

The facility was going through a major refurbishment, which would have been nice to know when we booked our stay. This meant that trucks were blocking the streets and filling parking spaces, the facility had many detours, and the noise was disruptive during the day.

LOCATION WAS WONDERFUL! SO QUIET, BEAUTIFULLY MAINTENENCED. WE LOVE THAT THE ADULT POOL IS SEPERATED FROM THE CHILDRENS AREA. MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF LEFT OUR KIDS HOME IN ARIZONA TO HAVE SOME MUCH NEEDED REST AND RELAXATION. THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME HERE AND WE WILL RETURN AGAIN.

Loved the kids pool/splash area and proximity to the beach. It’s a bit of a hike down there, but still easier than finding parking nearer to the beach. It was so lovely to be able to check out beach chairs, towels, and even a beach wagon to use. I would definitely come back, especially if I have my kiddo with me!

It was exceptionally clean, the bed was super comfortable, there was a little patio area to sit outside, and there was a full kitchen. It exceeded our expectations! On top of that, they had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. This went above and beyond.

Nothing - They were truly wonderful and so kind. We arrived really late and the security guard stayed to make sure we were set. Honestly - it was just a great trip.

Nice amenities, really great location and town.

We asked for 2 pack n plays when we booked, were told we were going to get 2 and then only one was available the entire week we stayed. We got a cot in the replacement, but it caused a lot of extra issues with getting our toddler to learn to sleep in a non-confined bed. We weren’t prepared to face that battle during our vacation. This was our only complaint. If we weren’t told before our stay that we would get two pack n plays then we would have just brought an extra with us.

Perfect location! Rooms are spacious with everything you could need and want! We love the new renovations too! Pool was fun and basketball court for the kiddos! Third time visiting and keeps getting better every time!

Maybe include a continental breakfast…this would be amazing!

I love this place but for some reason I was putting the smallest tiniest one bitter I've ever been in you couldn't even walk in the bedroom you couldn't open the drawers cuz the bed was right in front of it it was very hard to open our suitcases
