The lobby, hallways, eating area, and courtyard are very nice. The shuttle to the beach was great. They supplied umbrellas, chairs, and beach butlers to help you. The staff was wonderful.

The construction noise. I would have preferred a refurbished room, but got an older one.

Close to the beach and did not hear traffic. Hotel staff was friendly and clean.

I was hoping for coffee In the lobby, I did see it but was not told if it was for me or for breakfast guests. Complimentary water would have been nice. Why is there a charge for parking, I dont get it.

Loved the location the coziness of the hotel. Many places to enjoy the peaceful ocean across the street. Sunset views were awesome and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was okay a bit high priced.

beautiful location right across pch. Close to restaurants (5 min), close to Carlsbad Village (10 min). Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. To our surprise they had EV charging! One free level 2 charger and 1 quick charging station (paid). Food available on site as well if you are feeling lazy about stepping out. Although we didn’t use the service, but they also provide bike rentals. Overall, wonderful stay.

everything was great. Location was great and when I told people where I was staying they highly recommend. Breakfast was great and host was very friendly. The checking in and out process was very smooth.

I was not happy with the bar tender/host on 4/4 and 4/5 but the gentleman on 4/2 and 4/3 was very nice and humble. Didn't eat at restraint on 4/6 because he was the host.

We chose the hotel because of the location to the beach. The beach is directly across the street from the hotel. The hotel has a bar and small restaurant which was convenient for us. We had breakfast and the one and only person working as waiter (Johnny) worked very hard to efficiently help all the patrons and with a smile on his face the whole time. Our room was a very nice size and the room was very clean.

Our mattress was very hard and did not sleep well.

We loved the property itself and the ambiance. We enjoyed the feel of the property and our room. The patio/courtyard was particularly very nice.

We could NOT get anyone to our room for housekeeping. It was 3 days and no one would come after multiple attempts to call and ask.

Loved the pool set up and the outdoor seating area separate from the pool. My friends and their families gathered here with my family and I for a friend's trip. We have children ranging from 19 months to 13 years old, everyone had a great time. Lots of comfortable seating, with shade, grassy areas for the kids to run around within view. I really liked the pool set up. A shallow end on each side and the deepest part in the middle (only 4ft). With all of that shallow space, all the kids were spread around, it was nice not to have them all crammed together.

My toilet made a loud noise when I flushed it, which wasn't ideal...but it worked.

We only stayed one night on a side trip to Legoland. We knew we wouldn’t be there for long so didn’t want to pay a fortune. The hotel was very family friendly and to my surprise had live music next to the pool, along with a nicely-done, yet inexpensive barbecue. We left our screen door open to invite the beach breeze into the room, enjoying the laughter from families in the pool below. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice convenience store in the lobby too. Across the street from beach but we didn’t go because we were in hurry to leave for next destination.

The room had a funky smell and the screen door didn’t open easily but overall, it was great for our purpose!
