this was the most reasonable priced “inn” near our planned adventures. the place was clean and it was conveniently located!

the staff came and inspected our room before check out to ensure no damages were made. she pointed out the towels were dirty which didn’t really make any sense to me. They were not stained or anything. The dirt was from the floor, hence floor towels used for when you step out the shower. very in settling! we placed the “do not disturb “ sign outside door and room was still “cleaned” but did not replenish restroom tissue nor hand towels!

Stayed Many Times: Know what to expect: Laundry machines could use a bit of cleaning/upgrade; (many construction traveling workers on local projects stay; kinda beat up a bit) PRICE POINT SPOT ON! being Honest Thank You ... Prices even for a 'soda' (please Add Bottled H20) in vending was so reasonable $1.00; so GOOD that some sold out !! .hahaha.! We had a fabulous time at your hotel. We had booked our stay at Motel 6 on Raintree and it was TERRIBLE. Our room flooded. Shady people walking around. So we cancelled our stay at Motel 6 and booked the Hyland. The atmosphere and the vibes were great there. It turned our trip around. We felt safe and the place was clean! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

There was no hair dryer in the room. It would be nice if there were hooks to hang things on and maybe some benches or more chairs so we could set our stuff on them. Otherwise the place was great! We were beyond excited to see how nice our nice room was after booking at Motel 6, which was horrendous.

The reviews made this place seem horrible. To my surprise it wasn't bad at all. Excellent customer service from every person who worked there. Rooms were basic, but considering the price I wouldn't ask for more. Location was good as we were only 10 minutes from the beach or lego land. Rooms were clean. Ive stayed in more expensive hotels that were way worse.

I like the lighting, the comfortable bed, the friendliness of the staff and mostly the location and that I got a ground floor as requested.

I had a problem with the toilet but I managed to work with it while I was there. It was not consistent in turning off when flushed so I wouldn't leave the room until I made sure it stopped. I did report it to the office when I left since I didn't want to be bothered with maintenance while I was there.

Guy at the front desk was there the whole time, was very helpful and friendly. Convenient location, decent room, good value especially for the area. Bed was okay. Parking got pretty filled up but was free

The ceiling lights are bright, and there weren't any bedside lamps, so you had to leave two very bright recessed can lights on (in the ceiling right above the pillows, basically) if you wanted something you could control by the switch that you could reach from the bed.

I like the location and they keep the grounds very clean as well as the rooms.

I didn’t like that the maid knocked on my door at 8:30 to wake us up for check out at 11:00. Two times she knocked. Then as I packed my car she stood by the door with her cart and daughter staring at me waiting for me to leave. She was trying to push us out. That was very rude.

Great location, 5 mins to beautiful Sandy beach, 15 mins drive to Legoland. It's right near highway it's convenient with restaurant nearby. Friendly staff.

There was no tissue box in the room, toilet paper wasn't available so we picked one roll up from the front office. Quite small and older washroom. Bed were okay, sheets kinda noisy when you move probably because they put some sort waterproof plastic mattress cover underneath. Could have an electric kettle to boil tea water.

There was no breakfast, location is ok. And what I liked about the room ....everything, other than bathroom.

How small the bathroom is...the toilet and shower area. And the thing i hate the most is that if you're a cigarette smoker that you have to go all the way off the property and the sidewalk on the outside of the property is ok...they say u have to go across the street to smoke 🚬 😤, which is really messed up for people who are and have pain and health issues. No where to even sit or lean up against. I can understand if they don't want there rooms smoked in, and even right next to the room doors, but you should at least be able to walk to sidewalk and smoke there because basically the sidewalk is not there property. It belongs to the city.

The room had all advertised amenities and was clean upon arrival. Despite the good location next to the freeway it wasn’t loud and I had a good sleep. The air conditioning worked well and the Wi-Fi was strong. staff were pleasant.

Room servicing was only once every 3 days, which seems a little outdated now as most hotels have reverted to pre-pandemic practices.
