View of the Ocean - porch; 2 bedrooms and 2 baths; equipped well (maybe add a pot - had pans); living space upstairs; bedrooms size good; friendly staff; would rent again; we didn't use the pool - but nice there was one for families to enjoy; felt safe - nice wall around the complex, a coded gate to enter, and grateful for the overhang for our parked car.

1) - the upstairs toilet - didn't refill in the tank - not flushable - and it made a loud humming noise - we tried to call and report it - it was Sunday when we checked in - no answer on the emergency #, and no one in office until Tuesday - reported it to a housecleaner on Monday. Got a hold of someone in the office (Jenna) on Tuesday - repaired by Tuesday mid-afternoon. thanks! 2) - the low chairs on the patio - believe it would have been a better view with bar height table and chairs 3) - might be nice to have a lounge chair on the patio 4) - The wire chairs at the dining table. old and uncomfortable.

the location to the beach and walking distance to the village is great. lots of good neighborhood restaurants within walking distance

it is really noisy the laundry was outside our windows. The staff was refinishing furniture with power sanders early in the morning. It sounded like the people above us had a dog that they were playing fetch with in the middle of the night. you could hear the ball bounce and the dog running after it. This wasn’t the properties fault just really inconsiderate people

The location can't be beaten! My family has stayed at 2 different units at Beachwalk Villas and both were great. It's really nice to have spacious accommodations for a weekend and not just a hotel room to share with family.

Both units we stayed in had bedrooms with windows bordering the neighboring complex. The building next door had security lights that stayed on 24/7 and shone directly into the bedrooms. The rooms weren't dark at night, even with the shades closed and thin curtains closed. Blackout curtains would be helpful in all of the bedrooms on that side of the building.

Great location by the ocean. We had a big balcony and wonderful view on the ocean and sunset, we saw the dolphins and surfers also from the balcony. We had 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen with all necessary equipment. Carlsbad city is walking distance. Very good Carlsbad Premium Outlets in close driving distance. Parking place for the car. Laundry washing and drying possibility on the property. Good location between San Diego and Los Angeles. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed at Villa 8!

Nothing to complain. In case something, then that our stay was too short.

The location is amazing. You are right across the car park from the beach. It has a well stocked kitchen. The pool is good. It was exceptionally clean. If you have an ocean view I'm sure it would be exceptional. We were in the one bedroom garden view. It looked onto a wall and was not really a usable outside area, although there is a BBQ and 2 chairs and a table.

On the description it said the bed was a large double, but it was really not much bigger than a standard double. It was 5 foot wide at most. So that was a disappointment.

We rented two units for a family wedding near by, both were wonderful. Loved the pool , loved the view. Very clean , full of everything you might want or need. Beautiful place we had a awesome time. Plenty of great places to eat and enjoy entertainment within walking distance or driving a short distance.

The beds were a little lumpy and a light shone in the bedrooms all night. However we could move to the living room which was amazing. This place brings a smile to our face every time we think of it.

The location could not be better, particularly for the price. The accommodations were every bit as good as I anticipated based on ratings.

Minor things, like the sinks both leaked from the faucets and I didn't use the bathroom sink at all because it left a lake on the floor. Key a little tricky in the door but it always worked eventually!

Location, cleanliness was great. Host was awesome. They provided beach chairs and towels. Thank you so much!!

No central air-conditioning, but that's CA, you rarely need it, so we understood. Small window unit in bedroom worked fine for that room but the rest of the condo was very warm. Because of the setup it was difficult to get any cross breezes, even when we used the fan provided. That said. we'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Great location, condo and host!!

Location was perfect. The room was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. Super quiet. Three steps to the heated pool. The boardwalk and beach is only 100 feet away. French doors opened out to a terrific view of the Pacific Ocean.

Nothing to complain about or would change.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom unit that had a great balcony with view. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is across the street, restaurants, bars, shops are easily walkable.

They were renovating the top-floor penthouse and I think letting guests know about it would have been helpful. No napping with all the noise, that's for sure!
