Great neighborhood! Denny’s 24 hour in the same parking lot, Burger King across the street, gas station next door and Circle K in walking distance. I felt both comfortable and safe! My room was very comfortable and clean. The Lobby like the room was comfortable and clean with a great breakfast area and food selection. A JimmyDean sausage with cheese english muffin, individually wrapped for the microwave was fantastic! Located on the 805 Interstate makes this easy on/off travel perfect.

My room was not one of the recently remodeled rooms but it was nice and faced the pool area, which was secure and clean as well. I’m sure my room was quieter than the ones closer to the Interstate. And I was on the first floor which was great for me.

The exceptional treatment and impeccable customer service from when I first walked in to check, was perfect customer service from Leo, not just to me, but when I observed him politely habdle multiple guests and their needs with grace and charm and Ed in the morning also polite and friendly and accommodating, all of the staff went above and beyond what was norm! Going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Everyone really seems to enjoy working here! That's 5 star ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ treatment! I never want to leave. This really does NOT deserve to be a "2 star" hotel! Everyone here really made us feel like 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ guests. I will definitely refer my friends and family. The breakfast was delicious, the dining area was spotless, , I am very sensitive to harsh and dim lighting, someone here gets that, even the attention to detail they showed to soft not harsh or low dim lighting was thoughtful!

How far away and difficult to find the guest laundry room, then needing to figure out how to pay, I just wanted to put quarters in since I'm not very tech savvy, I finally did figure it out though. Also, I noticed several ice machines along the way were out of order.

It nice a size room although the bathtub floor was somewhat scratched or rough. The mirror frames showed some wear or age. Overall, the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast bar was better than what I expected with fresh waffle mix and paoer lunch bags to stuff some food to take out!

Personally, the coffee at the breakfast bar was horrible for me. It did not taste fresh brewed to me. Also, the remote for TV had be aimed at certain angle to change anything. Just for nick-picking these things, I couldn't rate 10 out off 10. Another thing, the free wifi did not require a password which did make me feel unsecured using it.

The water pressure from the sink was a trickle and never warmed up. The shower only had two Temps hot and cold. It was impossible to get warm water.

Property was very clean. Staff very nice, friendly, accommodating, helpful when asked. Parking adequate and spaces good. Waffles for Cont. Breakfast excellent. I liked hard boiled eggs in am. It would have been nice to have scrambled eggs, & bacon or sausage everyday like Holiday Inn Express. Showers were very good. It would have been better if the showers had hand-held handles as well. Personal safe in room would also have been good. Indoor swimming pool would have been outstanding!

No one makers on every floor. No hot eggs, or meats, @ breakfast. Pool not indoors & heated. No Military. AARP, Auto Club discounts.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. Nice selection of bread, cereals and fruit. But if you want eggs or meat your only option was a microwave jimm dean sandwich.

Heated pool was not heated. Apparently the heater shut off. Staff said they fixed the issue, but pool would not be heated for a few hours and would be closed before it was warmed up.

The room was wonderfully situated right beside the pool, offering easy access to relaxation and recreation. Plus, the convenience of having a Denny's restaurant just a minute's stroll away from the hotel made dining options effortlessly accessible.

While the value was decent, a slightly lower price would have better reflected what was offered.

Everything was super convenient, 10 min drive to literally downtown, san ysidro, the zoo. great breakfast as well very tasty

The construction and parking, there was some construction 2 rooms away from me so that woke me up earlier than i would’ve wanted to, as well as parking it can be a hassle at night finding parking. but other than that great hotel

Liked everything! new room, smells great. The accommodation is excellent, everything is nearby. long breakfast. the staff is incredible! attentive, open, polite.

The only thing is that I don’t wash the floors (our 11-month-old baby was crawling and was all black. Because there’s a highway nearby and it’s black torture. But everything else is just super!

Our room was extremely clean. While you expect and hope that your room is clean, It is always amazing when your room goes beyond your expectations. We will definitley be staying there again.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. The coffee was pretty great, however on our first morning there, the coffee ran out and we weren't able to wait for it to be replenished. The breakfast selections were not what we had hoped for, but still okay. Finding the laundry facilities was an adventure and was honestly too far from our room for us want to use. There was a little confusion, on our part, on how to pay for the washing machines. We weren't sure if it took credit cards or if we needed to purchase a compatable card to use the washing machines. There seem to be a lot of people smoking on the balcony above us as well.
