The facilities are new and clean! The scent of the tent is amazing! very soothing and relaxing. I like that they also provide lots of activities at the campsite, such as movie night and sauna. We reserve sauna and it was amazing. We highly recommend to go enjoy Sanna.

it’s kind of cold in the tent but you can rent a heater but it just the heater costs $45 is kind of expensive. another disappointment was when we were done doing Sana. There was no hot water for us to take a shower. We were pretty sad, cuz it was really cold.

This resort was the perfect spot for some peaceful “me time.” During my visit, I seemed to be the only guest, which made the experience even more serene. The tent I stayed in was clean and looked stunning when illuminated at night. The starry night sky was absolutely breathtaking. However, there are a couple of things to note. Winter nights can get very cold, and while the resort offers a $30 heating service, I didn’t opt for it as an experienced camper. If you’re visiting in winter, I recommend bringing a sleeping bag or wearing plenty of layers. Additionally, the tent is located near a local road and doesn’t have any noise barriers, so passing cars can be quite loud, especially in the early morning. Consider bringing earplugs or noise-canceling headphones to minimize disruptions. Despite these minor issues, my stay was truly enjoyable and memorable.

It is extremely obvious that the owner has invested a lot of time and money to create a desert oasis for travelers to enjoy. From the security fence, landscaping, colored solar lighting, quality of the yurts, the sunshades, castle towers for rent, Cowboy pool, toilets and showers, the amenities are unparallel in my experience elsewhere.

The submission of forms in advance seemed a little onerous, but was compensated by the "self check-in" which easy and balanced the prep work. I thought I would be able to park my van under the wooden sun shade, but when I got there it was evident the sun shade is designed to sit under and not to park vehicles. It was not a big deal to me, but it was a surprise to me. Not sure if I overlooked that in the property description.

The yurts were all spread out so you are not on top of each other. Each had its own fire pit, and matted front area with chairs. Beds were pretty comfortable and definitely had enough blankets. There was low level lighting all over the property so didn’t need a flashlight at night to walk around or go to the bathroom. The pool area was cute though I thought it was going to be a hot tub. Seemed like it was all maintained well and security good. The owner rode around on electric bike and was helpful. The bathrooms clean.

For all the yurts and different sleeping quarters there seemed to be only one men’s and women’s bathroom. I didn’t have a problem but if the place was full it might be an issue. Also only one outdoor shower. A suggestion is to have a shower and bathroom on the other side of property as well. No chair in yurt though there was a futon folded cushioned place to sit. Also a real hot tub would be nice. :)

Easy to find and plenty of parking. Staff were helpful and friendly. Amazing location. Really comfy bed. Good communication from the hotel. When we arrived, the lamp in our yurt didn’t work so I called the contact number provided and someone came in a few minutes with a new one and they then helped us light our fire.

There are no extras included in the price. You get the yurt and the toilet facilities. Heating is extra (we didn’t pay, we just wrapped up warm for the night). There’s a fire pit but they don’t provide logs. We bought some from the 7/11 on the way. A lighter was provided but it didn’t work. Thankfully we had also bought one from the shop beforehand.

we stayed in the shipping container house with the rooftop deck. It was so stylish and cute, with everything you need! We loved the rooftop for sunbathing and stargazing. We were really pleased with everything!

My only complaint (however slight), is the bed could be more comfortable. It's a little couch that folds out into a bed. I feel the couch is totally unnecessary and would love to see just a really comfy bed where that is. Despite how hard the "mattress" was, we still slept really well. It's so quiet and dark out there. SO nice for a good night's sleep.

Glamping at an affordable rate! Beautiful and comfortable yurts in a vast compound so there is no crowded feeling and you can watch the sunset/aunrise and the milky way at leasure. A gorgeous location sureounded by the desert while not too far from Joshua Tree - perfect to explore the park and the little town attractions, and disconnect. The architecture of the different homes (yurts, towers, containers) is really cool and the cowboy tub is lovely to cool off after a hot day!

There was only one shower. A little water regulation in this desertic setting would go a long way to protect the environment and limit the waiting time. But the compound was not too busy so it was manageable :)

Castle House estate is a great place to stay. We stayed in the tower A great unusual place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful. A safe area. Lovely comfortable bed. Clean throughout. Lovely site, plenty of space, not crowded. It was great to sit on the roof and watch the stars! And if course see the sunset! The place is very quiet at all times so it's great just to chill out.

There appeared to be only one shower. This was outside but it was a good experience to shower outside in the heat. There was only one toilet per gender. This was very clean. These facilities did not cause us a problem, the site was quiet, and I don't think it was full. It may be a concern that if the site was full, this might pose a problem........??? Considering these things it may be slightly overpriced compared with other accommodation we have stayed at in the last 3 weeks in the USA.....

This place is definitely a tucked away little gem and easy to find. Due to travel we had to show up quite late but they quickly resoponded and let us know it was self service and we can come when we needed. That was an incredible relief we had hours to travel. So it made things easy and stress free. we were able to find our yurt quickly. And get comfortable. The layout of the whole place is super cute! The bathrooms are cute and convenient. Along with parking around to the left side. (When i say easy, it was easy! We arrived late at night. Just follow the road and signs) The yurt itself was so lovely! The bedding and all the little things inside to make it comfy. It was quite spacious as well, with extra blankets if needed. My first time in a yurt, it smelled so incredible inside as well. Lighting is perfect at night. You can get around and still enjoy stargazing without a problem. Unfortunately we couldn't stay long so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or sauna. But the hubby and I had an amazing stay looking at the stars we didn't want it to end. For a couple that likes to rough it, we laugh now that we've gone glampling. This is totally glamping. And I love it. With family in AZ and joshua trees being our new favorite place to explore, we will most definitely come stay again. I booked both a Yurt and the House. The place is amazing! Very well maintained and designed. Very nice decorations and perfect for a Joshua Tree Trip with a group of friends or a larger family. It is very easy to reach and pretty close to grocery stores and restaurants. Although, it is very relaxing, faslr from noises and with an amazing sky view. The house is very comfortable, and everything was provided, including very good toiletries and towels, kitchen tools, coffee and all the needed.

The Yurt had a propane heating that ran out the second night, transforming it in a very cold night. The shower is outside, and when it is cold it is definitely not the most confortable place to have a shower, luckily we also had the house. Also in the house, the temperature could not be controlled and during the night was dropping considerably. In the house, we could not find linen for the sofa bed in the living room, but I did not ask the staff, so this is mainly my fault.
