From the moment I set foot in this establishment, it was clear that every nook and cranny had been crafted with the utmost love and attention to detail. The host was not only friendly but incredibly helpful, exuding a genuine warmth that made me feel welcome and at home instantly. His knowledge of the area and his readiness to assist with any request enriched the stay, adding a personalized touch that is so often missing in many hotels today. When night fell, it was as if the sky had been sprinkled with a dust of diamonds, offering a clear, uninterrupted view of the cosmos. A magical venue for stargazers, where one could easily lose hours just witnessing the majestic dance of celestial bodies, finding familiar constellations, and perhaps even catching a shooting star if fortune favored. The grounds offered perfect viewpoints to appreciate both day and night skies in all their glory — a conscious effort by the design team, no doubt, to harmonize with the surrounding beauty rather than compete with it. It was a humbling and yet exalting experience to sit under the expansive sky, feeling a part of something much larger and grander. An absolute must-visit, promising not just a stay, but a treasure trove of unforgettable experiences that beckon you to return, time and time again.

This place is stunning! The staff was very kind! I would love to return with friends to enjoy more of the estate. The sun rise over the mountains was stunning. I loved watching it from the top of the tower.

I did not realize the bathroom and sauna were in a different building. Not a huge deal, but hard to motivate to go brush my teeth and get ready for bed on a winter evening. If I had known I probably would've rented the container instead. I was allured by the sauna but wasn't able to make it in because it's only available during the day with a two hour request to heat it.

it was in a great location if you are looking for privacy and a place to relax while you detach yourself from everything. we stayed in the Guard house which was so cute and clean. They offer each room their own fireplace and our room had access to the roof for star gazing. The property offers a sauna for 2 for a reasonable price and a private movie theatre with popcorn for relaxing experience less than what you would pay at the actual movie theatre. My husband and I are expecting our baby and this was a great place to have some alone and relaxing time before our baby arrives in September.

If I wasn’t pregnant and didn’t have to get up to use the restroom every 2 hours the bathroom set up would of not been an issue but honestly having to walk to the restroom outside in the dark every 2 hours was a hassle. Other than that everything was beyond perfect.

Originally I thouhght I booked the Guard Tower, upon my arrival & check in. I actually booked the Tiny home container which ended up working out better for my husband and I. I liked the fact that we had our own bathroom & shower as opposed to having to walk outside to use it. Which I was prepared for either way. It was peaceful & quiet. The owners were there and very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

My only dislike is in the Tiny home container the bathroom door doesn't open all the way it cuts off the entrance to the bathroom so if you are a larger person that could be an issue getting in and out of it.

The Castle House Estates was a fantastic spot to get away to for memorial day weekend. My wife and I stayed in the container "tiny home" and are so glad we did. We picked up some pizza in town on our way in and loved sitting on the roof deck the first night, watching the sun set over the mountains to the west. It was a perfect way to start the trip. It was definitely a hot weekend, so the A/C in the container home made for very comfortable spot when we needed to rest in the afternoon. If you're hiking Joshua Tree you can't do much better than that.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of the yurt tents at the Castle House Estate in Joshua Tree and I must say, it was an absolutely magical experience. The estate itself is stunning, with sweeping desert views and a beautifully designed property that perfectly blends rustic charm with modern amenities. The yurt tent was cozy and comfortable, with a plush bed and plenty of blankets to keep warm during the chilly desert nights. The decor was tasteful and thoughtfully chosen, with lovely little touches like tea lights and a portable heater to add to the ambiance. The shared bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained, with hot water and plenty of towels provided. One of the highlights of my stay was the stargazing. The location of the estate is perfect for observing the night sky, and the lack of light pollution in the area meant that the stars were incredibly bright and visible. I spent hours just gazing up at the constellations, feeling completely at peace. The staff at Castle House were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They were happy to provide recommendations for local hikes and restaurants, and even offered to lend me a map for exploring the area. Overall, I would highly recommend the Castle House Estate to anyone looking for a unique and memorable desert getaway. The yurt tent was a fantastic accommodation choice and the entire property exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

The location was excellent. The property is very close to the National Park and the main town area. It was very easy to find, even in the dark! The property itself is beautiful....spacious, clean, peaceful, lovely trees and plants. The "tiny home" container was amazing. It had everything that my daughter and I needed for our stay. The couch opened to a bed and was very comfortable. The bathroom had a very nice shower and all the amenities that you could want. Luke met us upon our arrival and was very friendly and professional. He also offered a variety of items on their room service menu. We needed lots of water in the desert! The coffee maker in the kitchen area was perfect for the morning. Also, the rooftop of the container was excellent for seeing the stars at night and the sunrise in the morning. Overall, an AMAZING stay!!! We will definitely come back. Thank you!

My only recommendation would be to put more hooks or shelfs to put towels, clothes, etc.... It's a "tiny" space and we obviously brought too much stuff. LOL!

We rented the hideaway bungalow and it was very well decorated, well equipped and the beds were so comfortable. The place is peaceful and quiet, the fire pit is great and we could do stargazing at night. The communication with the management was so good and response were immediate. I would go back.

At first we thought it was located inside the walls of the Castle house so we drove right by it trying to locate it. the address was on the fence and faded so we could not see it at first.

We loved that it was close to Joshua Tree but also far enough away for a feeling of seclusion and stargazing. We loved all the lit-up trip hazards walking around at night. The yurt was very nicely set up, super cozy. They even made sure we had a heater since it was cold at night. I loved the private movie night they provided for us, definitely do this if they have it as an option for your stay! I liked their long menu list of food and beverage items, we didn’t utilize the room service but it was nice they provide the options!!

The shower is outdoors which is probably nicer in the summer than the wintertime? I wanted to use their sauna but didn’t want to shower outside after, although I’m sure it would be very invigorating, all part of the experience I’m sure.

Great position for visiting Joshua Three, the Bungalow was clean, comfortable and well prepared for a large group of guests. Jacuzzi is super appreciated when your day in JT is over. We took the chance to have a BBQ in the garden and the fireside time before the overnight was absolutely unforgettable. I strongly recommend Castle House, which has something magic!

Some minor things to be fixed. A/C should be let under full control by the guests.
