The bed was very comfortable, loved the covers too. The room was spacious and very clean. Plenty of lighting. Community space was nice, well maintained and welcoming. However, I couldn't take my pup inside so that was disappointing, I couldn't take advantage of the space.

The bathroom has NO shelving. I had to put my items on the back of the toilet or the toilet seat. Just a small shelf would help and there is wall space for one. Almost no windows in the room but it is an attic room so I get it. And for new arrivals, the outside upstairs rooms should have markers on the downstairs walkway so the new guest knows where to go.

I really wanted to get away from the city and have some quiet days in beautiful place that had peace and quiet. The amenities were very good, the room was clean and it has a bit of a country home charm to it. The view was excellent and it has a communal kitchen. The other guests were very nice, quiet and we were staying there but either hiking in the forest, the PCT or the driving to the state park not too far away. I loved the clean but stained small towels perfect for removing makeup, or cleaning your hiking boots. I’m glad the property found a use and marked those towels rather than throw them away when they are still usable for other tasks.

I didn’t mind it but the driveway is fairly easy to miss if you are not paying attention. It a sharp turn into the driveway and it’s a steep driveway that really only can fit one car at a time. Thankfully with only a few rooms this isn’t a huge issue but backing out of the driveway if you are part way up it a bit sketchy because you can’t really see if there are any cars coming. The car exiting the driveway should probably back up into the parking area instead.

I'm sure this is going to be our N°1 gem of this year! A relaxed and cosy hideaway with a friendly atmosphere. First the exterior. The view from the terrace deck is beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time chatting with the other guests and watching the stars. Inside, the facilities are simply amazing. Fully stocked kitchen, with almost as much equiment as at home, and even free pantry provisions, snacks, quick meals, decorated table... It just feels as if you were at a friend's house and everything was done with your comfort in mind. Super-comfy living-room with billard, sofas, games, fireplace and beautiful decor. The room was really big, and very comfortable. Smooth check-in without any time limit, in the absence of the host. What can I say, except that our kids asked whether we could move in there because they so loved it!!! HUGELY recommend.

Honestly, nothing. Our whole stay was awesome and we went from pleasant surprise to pleasant surprise at every corner.

My family traveled to Tucker Peak Lodge for a weekend getaway to Julian. We absolutely loved the property. We stayed in the family suite: Mountain View, and it was perfect. The beautiful kitchen, stocked and ready for us to make breakfast, was absolutely wonderful. We definitely wished we were staying longer and will absolutely return.

There was nothing we didn't like. I'll just throw in that a hot tub would be a great addition to the deck area.

The location and views were perfect. Close enough to town but far enough out to feel you were away from everything. Close to great hiking. The dog friendly room was large. We felt as we almost had an apartment. The community kitchen was well thought out and equipped. You would find it easy to prepare anything you wanted. As in most of these situations, the knives were dull so if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking, bring your knives. That is all you will need from home. Breakfast stuffs are available to make your own. Premade breakfast is not provided. There is a small fridge in the room and you can also use the big fridge in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable!!!!

Noticed some wear and tear needed some attention. Some interior wear and tear also. Nothing to keep us from returning.

We really liked our suite…Mountain View. The view is outstanding. It was a winter wonderland! The heating system is very adequate and the suite has a nice fireplace as well. The king size bed is comfortable.

We had the circuits go out two times for the tv, refrigerator and microwave and the management was very quick to fix the problem. The hardwood floors needed vacuuming and dusting under the furniture. The driveway is very steep and very scary with a lot of snow. Management kept clearing it as much as possible.

Lovely place. Very clean and well maintained. Great, fully stocked kitchen. We used it to heat up our dinner. Had the kitchen and dining area to ourselves. Really nice large patio with a great view.

Only complaint(from my husband) was that the bathroom in our room had a sloped ceiling and he kept hitting his head.

Remote location was beautiful. Superb view of the valley. Room and shared area clean. Full group kitchen to use, with individual brew coffee.

Took a brief while to straighten-out the heating situation, but fine after that. Remote location, far from amenities. But, you can't have it both ways.

The view was amazing. The suite was clean and exceeded my expectations. The suite was spacious, and full of amenities. The staff were friendly. The suite came with fire place, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, walk-in closet and AC and heater, high ceilings with chandelier and ceiling fan, direct access to large deck that over looking an amazing mountain/valley view that feel like a 4 star hotel in a middle of mountain. The deck allow nighttime star gazing with patio furnitures. The common area/game room include a well maintained pool table and equipment.

The driveway up to the lodge is pretty steep and may cause problem for vehicles with low base.

Lodge was clean and nicely appointed. Enjoyed use of kitchen. Great view, wish weather was better, it rained during our stay..

It felt more like a home that was renovated to rent our rooms. But our room was nice…large very roomy. Wish there was a small table to eat on as we had dogs with us and did not want to leave them in room alone. Also need blinds.. curtains closed blocked the a/c air flow. But all in all it was a good room!
