Excellent friendly staff. Spa was accommodating and competitive in price, but I didn't really understand how to do the foot scrub. Restaurant also had great service and very yummy food. It was a bit expensive but within the norm for the season and area. They had photography lessons or a photo tour came by the pond. The kitchen was equiped with a microwave, sink, fridge and coffee maker. It would have been perfect if it had just 2 plates. The bed is a bit soft for me but everyone slept well. Some of the pillows were a tiny bit lumpy, but not hard. They had robes!! So comfy! This is not a sleek fancy place but it is very complete and well maintained, and tasteful.

It was a bit expensive but within the norm for the season and area.

Check-in went flawlessly. The map to the room was accurate. Despite being right by the entrance door to the building and being connected to another room, my room was quiet. We were also steps away from our car. The room had a small refrigerator, a coffeemaker, and a separate sink in that zone. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. Check-out went smoothly and we were asked if we wanted a receipt (we did). When I mentioned an issue with the shower mechanism, I was thanked for the information. We did not use the restaurant on property, but it was nice to know it was available.

I had trouble finding the ice machine, which was located outside of another building. The shower diverter worked, but not well, so half of the water did not make it to the shower. I reported this. The hotel is over a mile out of town, which meant I had to drive everywhere outside of the resort.

There was plenty of space for clothing and other items. The kitchenette had plenty of cupboards and even plates/bowls/utensils/glasses. The bed was comfortable. We asked for an additional blanket and got one right away. Loved the robes.

The carpet needed cleaning. There was a sticky spot in the kitchenette area. One of the robes had a torn belt loop. The curtains in the bedroom were ripped. The shower didn't have much water pressure. The bathroom could have had a little more counter space, but it was still okay. The cable channel options were pretty limited.

We have stayed at the hotel before in 2019 and it was just as good as we remembered it. The location close to Borrego Springs is great. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and the grounds are really nice too. There are two large swimming pools to choose from and a large spa pool too. The Arches restaurant is good too. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Noe in the Arches who deserved a medal for singlehandedly working the bar and serving meals to our party of 14 bikers !.

No complaints at all, love this place.

The rooms were large and comfortable, pool was nice Went to watch a meteor shower and only had to walk out to the parking lot.

Wished for a few hours they could have turned off/down the exterior lights - most folks were out there in the middle of the summer to watch the meteor shower. Also if the resturante could add an impossible burger to the menu - we didn’t eat there as nothing for the vegan family member.

This resort is in a retirement town and is very vacant. It’s in the middle of the desert, which is my boyfriends favorite! The resort is a little outdated but we loved that aspect actually. There’s lots of property to wonder off too and there was very few people, which we also loved. It was very hot but it was easy to escape with the A/C running. The restaurant had amazing class and food that we took to-go and ate in our suite. it was so delicious and fancy. Our balcony was a plus and it overlooked the pool.

Unfortunately the spa was not open which we were looking forward to and neither was the golf course. I think if we could have gone to the spa our experience would have been a 10 out of 10. There isn’t anything to do in Borrego Springs activity wise, especially in the middle of summer but we still had an amazing vacation.

The pool was very large and the availability of cabanas was a plus. There were several families occupying the pool with us but because it was large enough we never felt we were being pushed out of the water. Our room was very comfortable, we had the king suite. As many others have mentioned in their surveys the furniture in the living space (sofa) was a little worse for wear, but we were prepared and unbothered. I'm sure over time they'll receive the facelift they deserve. The bedroom was very comfortable. Having a his and hers closet was a nice surprise but we were most appreciative of the quality sleep we received. Our room was very quiet even with the pool located directly across from us. We ate dinner both evenings at The Arches restaurant. We sat at the bar and felt welcome from the moment we came in. This spot seems to attract the locals which was a nice surprise, very friendly persons with the gift of gab. Margaritas were delicious and our favorite item off the menu were the beer battered green beans. And after a few drinks at the pool it was nice to have the restaurant located just steps away.

There wasn't anything that turned us off about our trip. We read reviews and pretty much knew what to expect before arrival. This is not a 5-star resort and therefore we did not expect 5-star accommodations with white glove service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The pool was sparkling and refreshing. For this reason we say our visit was "exceptional".

The room was nice and comfortable. Room service for some of my meals was a plus since I was in town working. Very quiet area. The patio was perfect for me to paint getting ready for for my art show. Staff was very professional and nice. Spa massage was excellent.

The people upstairs were very loud walking and whatever all night. I had to call the front desk a couple times.

The pool has a chair to take people in and out of the water. Nice for paraplegics.

The WiFi is so slow that it is unusable and the cell service is too weak. The carpet looked old and dirty. They should put pergo or something similar.

it was pretty and every room had a balcony.

We had to go to the lobby for pillows and blankets for the sofa bed instead of them already being in the room or having the option of being delivered. The property was pretty empty but our room was in the back. I feel like we would have had a better room/view if we wouldn’t have booked through Priceline.
