Room size was good. Room had refrigerator and microwave, which came in handy since we traveled during off season and no local restaurants were open. Perfectly located for taking in all the Mono Lake sights.
Air conditioner/heater was a bit loud.

The proximity to Yosemite National Park. There were a few places to eat in walking distance. I stayed in a cabin and didn’t use the kitchen, but there were plates, utensils, pots and pans, and other basic items for you to cook and eat.
When I searched places to stay, the app usually shows the total price of the entire stay. I searched for 2 nights, and the app did say the price being “for 2 nights”, which wasn’t true. I used this app often, and it’s always quite accurate. Anyway, I paid the double of what I had thought would be. Maybe I missed something before I selected.

Good location when coming out of Yosemite via Tioga Pass Friendly hotel staff helped us go on a quick trip to Mono Lake Convenience store and a few restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel
Room was a bit dark, otherwise alright and basic.

Staff was available. Quick check in. Ample parking.
Minimal food options. Glad I had some stuff along. It was "off season", though.

The expansive lovely landscaped grounds of this old motel with the restaurant at its south end are probably its most notable features. We really enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor seating provided under the multiple mature shade trees, this despite the frequent traffic noise from the abutting street that cuts through Lee Vining (i.e., Highway 395). The room was also comfortable and clean, beds included. We also appreciated having the small frig to store cold drinks and fruit. Finally, I could barely hear the highway traffic noise from our room - a real plus as I'm a light sleeper.
I did not care for the relatively new above-counter sink in the smallish bathroom. I had to stand on tippy toes to brush my teeth (I'm 5'4"), and, because of the small vanity size, there was practically no remaining counter space for one's personal items. The motel rates were also high, but then this was peak season, and the rates were similarly high for most of the other comparable lodging accommodations in Lee Vining.

Our room was amazingly clean! Bed was very comfortable. This is a very old hotel, old bedspreads, but you can see where nice upgrades are in process, bathroom in particular. Views of mono Lake are beautiful and proximity to Tioga. Pass is great. Other than that, there isn’t too much going on in this area.
The restaurant on the property offer’s counter service And you can sit outside on a lovely lawn. However, we ordered a salad with chicken on it, and it was the oldest thigh meat. Couldn’t even pierce it with a fork look like it had been left uncovered in the refrigerator.

We loved our stay! The room size was great. The bed was so comfortable and pillows were wonderful. The shower was newly remodeled and the towels were large and thick. We loved having two big sinks. We had a refrigerator and microwave which both worked well. The tv was very good. The furniture was more than adequate. The reception gentleman was friendly and helpful. The Mono Market has a great selection v. Try the burritos! Lastly the location is excellent.
There was no soap dish in the shower. Not a big deal.

Perfect localisation at the Est-Exit of the Yosemite Park. Welcoming people at the desk+++. Walking distance of the 2 restaurants in town. Grocery shooping down the Hotel. Quiet place. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Perfect for a short stay.
Old Fashionned Motel. Little bit noisy (because of a familly in the upstair room). Carpet on the floor....like in 70's. Restaurant not open every day (but it is alternatives in walking distance). Ice maker HS.

Easy check in, close to market and the lake ,pet friendly, pretty location and large property. I think we were the only ones staying there at the time so it was peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!
There was a window above the bed with a bright light outside that the curtains didn't fully block, so there was a light shining into the room while we were sleeping that was a bit annoying.

The Lodge is in a beautiful setting, is well looked after, and really easy to get to the Eastern entrance of Yosemite. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Lee Vining is a sweet place.
The rate for staying felt extortionate but I think that's down to the time of year, proximity to Yosemite and lack of alternative places to stay. Still felt very expensive for a nice, but quite normal, motel.
