We came at 20:45 and were met by the most friendly hotel manager we could ever meet. the checkin process was quick, the room was large and accommodating, although we did not have the additional bed we needed for our son, but we managed. This shortcoming was little noticed with the big room, and attentiveness of the manager, which did his best to assist. we appreciate all the efforts and will definitely come again

The fact that we didn't have the bed for my son, but again - a little hickup that didn't matter in the long run, as we thoroughly enjoyed monterey, ,Granny's kitchen and everything in this fine establishment

The room was clean, staff were friendly, the value for money is really good. Beds were VERY comfortable. Close to lots of amenities. Overall, really glad we stayed here - would absolutely stay again!

The water pressure in the shower is almost non-existent. It was a mist rather than a shower - problematic with teenagers. Two nights we did have people in the room above us and that was very loud as you could hear everything from above. Housekeeping is on request, which is totally fine. But we weren’t sure where to throw trash and, after 5 days, we had a lot. They could also use more hooks to hang towels and coats. There’s a closet but that didn’t help with towels.

Location was ideal only 1 mile from the beach, 2 miles from Old Fisherman’s Warf, and 3 miles from Cannery Row. We walked the trails to Cannery Row and back. Rooms were recently renovated and very clean and staff was friendly.

My only complaint was the bed was too soft for me.

I loved how clean it was, I brought things to clean with such as wipes and Lysol and I didn’t feel the need to use them. I checked little details like the mirror, sheets, pillow cases, etc and it was spotless! Pretty quiet (if you don’t have neighbors) and very furry friend friendly. Very small inn/hotel made for easy trips to the car and taking the pets potty. The ladies that worked there were extremely nice and accommodating!

No accommodations for pets such as bowls, beds, treats etc. Very thin walls. WE HEARD EVERYTHING & I mean EVERY-THING. NOT pg13 friendly. Water pressure on bottom floor was decent, not the best.

The property was very easy to find, and very well kept. It was convenient to get to a lot of the sight seeing and tourist attractions/retail in the Monterey area. Additionally, the staff was very welcoming when we arrived as well as when we left. I’d highly recommend this property for anyone that is traveling to the area and looking for good cost for your money!

The only thing that I would change about the property/room is the shower head. The shower head only had one setting available, despite trying to spin to the other settings. Otherwise, an amazing stay/property.

Our front desk associate was welcoming as soon as we checked in and helped us choose our itinerary for the weekend. She was very kind and resourceful. Our room was very nice and clean and modern. The property was clean and quiet. I was very surprised. We were in close proximity to a restaurant (Grandma’s Kitchen that we did not get to try) and 7-Eleven to purchase water and snacks. I would definitely stay here again. I was pleased.

I could hear the pipes pretty loudly from other people taking showers while I was trying to sleep.

The facilities are great, the bed is comfortable and, although they don't offer breakfast, there is a place next door with several options. The receptionist Karoon (sorry if mispelled!) is amazing, extremely helpful and supported us with everything we needed. Her attention was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay.

Just to say something, the light in the room wasn't very bright, but that was nothing that bothered us much

Property location was great with easy quick access to all things. It was off a busy street but still quiet and safe. Rooms were very clean and well kept with an attractive aesthetic and many mirrors.

The shower (be it attractive and clean) was maybe the worst I’ve ever had including camping trips. Zero pressure and three small trickles. Barely enough to penetrate white girl hair. lol Parking was very cramped and limited as well when at capacity. But not much one can do about that. Just be prepared.

The room is big, clean and has a microwave, and fridge.. good if they have a kettle so that we can boil water though u can get hot water from receptionist. They do have a small coffee machine in the room. It's just outside the main Monterey town area so it's still very convenient to go about . It's only 1hr drive from hotel to Pfieffer beach . 30mins drive to Bixby bridge. Parking free in the hotel. Thank you to the team who made my chk in seamless as well as keeping our rooms super clean.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The person behind the desk was very nice and helpful, always had a smile. I was happy to see cameras on the building for security. Loved that I could do laundry.

I was surprised at the location and was a little concerned for our security and the security of our rental car. There was no extra secure latch on the door. It was further from the sites in Monterey than I thought.
