I was blown away with the service and the price.. when you walk in the room the first thing I do what’s it going to smell like it smell fresh that’s the first thing I look for my step in any room anywhere. A month ago me and my wife and kids stayed at the hotel right on the beach. We had to switch rooms and then the room we went into. It was Jess none of the standards and they’re a big corporation discovery in Monterey Bay, it’s a good location. The rate was just right save money. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.We will be coming back to visit soon. The room was large, very clean, well appointed, with a silent refrigerator, a coffeemaker, and good wifi connection. I was also able to park right in front of my room and easily roll my heavy suitcase into the room--no stairs!

I was awakened in the night by some kind of mechanical noise coming from an adjacent room, perhaps an air-conditioning unit or fan. So the sound insulation could have been better.

It was comfortable and very clean. The room was exactly like the pictures so there's no surprises and the hotel was around a lot of restaurants. It was pretty good for a simple, affordable hotel.

Walls are thin, but it wasn't too bad. It was quiet around 11pm when i stayed. Also, there are no smoking areas at all, and it's understandable not to smoke inside the rooms, but you can't even smoke out in the parking lot but overall it's a good hotel to stay in.

Clean, modern room. Loved how big it was, bed was bigger than I expected as well. Check in was quick minus the phone call they were on when we walked in, but no biggie. Check out was quick, we deposited the key in the slot and all was well.

Needs more shower towels. Also the shower could use an inner and an outer liner, there is just a water-absorbent sheet. Also they only provided body wash and shampoo, no conditioner.

Great location! Lots of yummy dining with walking distance, and many more options a short drive. Several beaches about a 5 minute drive away. The staff was helpful and accomodating of my requests. We will definitely use this inn on future trips!

My only dislike was the mattresses. They are odd but not uncomfortable.

Rooms great size, great location with places to shop and eat within waking distance only 15 minutes to Old Fisherman Warf. Beach minutes away as well.

Could have used more towels with no stains, maybe upgrade the towls. And definitely upgrade pillows too soft non-fufilling. One reason I bring my own towels and wash rags. Other than that everything was great!

The room was simple and comfortable and any requests dealt with immediately. The gardens and location were perfect for my trip

Could of used a coffee machine but fixed that by purchasing one at Good Will for $10 .Next to The Breakfast Culb where you can't go wrong . And close to many great places to visit .

This is the cleanest motel I have ever stayed at. Nothing special about the amenities as it's only a motel, but it is VERY clean and the staff is very friendly. I have stayed here two times now and I will stay here again when i'm in Monterey.

The location is great. The value is great. In general you get more than what you pay for it is one of the most affordable hotels in the area and it is one of my favorites always clean and affordable.

Even with covid I wish they would do something for breakfast. They only offered a voucher for $1 off at a local restaurant and that was only after I asked. Seems like they would be able to at least offer one free breakfast (per person) when you are staying multiple days.
