the guest above us was too loud. we could hear footsteps all night. My daughers had trouble sleeping.

The resort was newly remodeled and very nice. The rooms are large with 2 bathrooms in each room. Great Location and felt like a private beach. Staff was very friendly. Like the arcade for kids and adults and the 2hr rental items each day. We were close to great golf in Ojai also

Our room wasn't cleaned everyday when we asked to have it done. It was a holiday weekend and Im sure they were sold out so I'm sure staffing was short. The Restaurant menu was very limited and the same everyday for all 3 meals.

Beach location was good. Staff were friendly.

prices at Henry's store were extremely high. I paid $17.98 for two bottles of Evian water. The menu at Ox &Ocean was very limited. And most of al!, there was a hold for incidental charges of $450.00 placed on my account that was supposed to be released upon my departure. All but $102.42 was released but it was a report fee. The issue is that I paid that with the room charge when I checked in. So, I was charged twice for it. I've gone over this Vista text with two people at https://guide.touchstay.com, and they've refutedit.

My family and i really liked everything. The pool, the beach, the garden, the fire pits, the bike rentals, the short distance between n everything was perfect. Our suite had perfect view and was spacious. Perfect.

When we booked the hotel, it said breakfast included. But when we asked that next morning, they said no complementary breakfast sorry. They suggested their restaurant, but not much a variety. Complementary breakfast or atleast coffee is one thing, i think everyone looks foward too. Especially at a place like this. So that was a bummer.

Everything was perfect, even the challenge of no-heat. We changed rooms twice in one day. That could have been annoying but we had help. Big, big, big thanks to our Housekeeper whose name escapes me right now (sorry). What an extraordinary group of people. You can have a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location but if the staff is miserable, everyone is miserable. Big kudos to leadership, putting them first made our stay magical. 🙏🏼

The staff took 2 days trying to find a portable heater for my Mom but couldn't find one, so if I had to "complain" about something, it would probably be to consider having portable heaters if this is a reoccurring problem with the buildings heating system.

Ocean front room was beautiful.

We had a 6 hour power outage during our stay and there was no sort of communication from staff. We didn't get to fully enjoy our ocean front room ( that I paid $400 for/ 1 nt). 6 Hours later the power came back on ( midnight), too late to do anything at that time. Called reception the next morning, because I received a bill for the full amount of ( $460). I felt disappointed at the fact that we checked in at 3:20 pm and only got to enjoy the resort for about 2.5 hours before the power went out and was still being charged for the entire amount. After reaching out and speaking to a rude customer service agent , they refunded me $200. Customer service agent sounded irritated and untinterested in what I had to say.

Beach, heated pool, salted pool, size of hot tub, walkability, design of main areas

The hot tub was a tad too hot, the rooms felt a little like lipstick on a pig compared to the main area. Remote didn’t have batteries, the toilet paper roll didn’t fit the support arms, general smell of the building wasn’t great.

Very nice architectural design. ADA accessible. Heated pool, which kids were enjoy even though it was raining. There are two elevators, one was broken down probably due to the earthquake, but we still were able to use the other one.

Additional parking fee charged not previously disclosed. Toilet needs to keep holding the handle in order to flush. Window in the bedroom full of dirt and dust.

My only complaint is the restaurant has a pretty limited menu. We couldn’t eat any meals there, except two lunches. I would like to see more choices. I think another restaurant is planned and that will probably be an improvement.

Most fantastic play for families. Wonderfully out-of-the-way no busy streets. No busy shopping areas a fun and relaxing place to stay. Kids have so much that they can do during the day while Adia adults. Enjoy the spas the restaurants in the pool. Be sure and ask for a general manager, Sophia, who will go out of her way to make the stay enjoyable.
