I stayed in cottage #1, it was fairly spacious, the bed was comfortable, the spa tub was amazing, outside the cottage is a beautiful setting, it is close to a quaint grocery store, and the neighborhood is quiet and feels safe and friendly. The hosts refilled snacks, waters, daily and were very communicative.

It is very open, with a skylight and large French-like doors, and I found no real way to darken the room so I am glad I brought my sleep mask so that I could nap. It was kind of busy as far as set-up, meaning there was a lot of space and there was a lot of stuff in that space and I would have liked a few less chairs, or decorations.

A beautifully appointed little cottage with high-quality bedding and towels, lots of pillows. A great jacuzzi tub. Complimentary snacks were a very nice touch. At the back of the tiny property is a seating area with comfy chairs that overlooks a creek. Great outdoor vibe just steps away from your door! It's obvious that the owner of these cottages has put a lot of thought into creating a nice experience for her guests! Convenient location, walking distance to everything in Glen Ellen and easy drive to many vineyards.

The cozy feel of the property, contactless check-in, the owner was so accommodating responsive. Our cottage was clean and cozy, and the property was just enchanting! All of the amenities, the small details, like a special makeup towel, a shower steamer, filtered water for the coffee, and a rubber ducky for the jacuzzi bath. The fireplace was great, too. On-site parking! And we LOVED the town of Glen Ellen! So many great food and drink options a walking distance away. Glen Ellen Star and the Garden Court Cafe are amazing, and the folks at the Jack London Lodge saloon were super cool about me cheering on my Astros in the World Series! Fantastic stay, and can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful, calm and felt very private. The communication, personalized attention, and efforts made to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Karen was friendly, respectful and courteous. Excellent and comfortable cottages and would highly recommend!

Renovations to the main inn and restaurant were occurring, but I can’t wait to go back and see how they chose to improve it! nice to know they keep improving to provide the best experience possible.

Location was excellent, near highway but quiet, and next door to a very good Italian restaurant. Large outdoor verandah. Free treats were supplied. On-site parking. Steam shower. Comfortable bed. Gas fireplace. Had a hot tub, which we did not have time to use.

No microwave oven. Many knickknacks and shaggy throw rugs everywhere, collecting dust. Patio was covered but not protected on sides from rain storms, so everything there got wet. Not much free space for luggage.

The room was comfortable and, spacious. The furnishings were not ordinary, old pieces mixed with newer made it interesting and fun. Location was good and the grounds beautiful. Made for a very pleasant experience.

TV has problems, but my guess was a signal problem and not their fault. When I reported it, the manager thankede and said they would check it out right away.

Karen , the 🍵 keeper was a very nice lady. The facility and garden was very pretty. The bathroom has a shower and it has warm/hot Sauna that’s easy to turn off & on—-and it’s great! Our room was so charmingly sweet, it’s facing the little creek , the water was clear , many small chickadee birds in trees & plants outside . There was an excellent restaurant across the street where they serve huge excellent breakfast. We would definitely go back there when we can . None cuz everything was wonderful

Come here to this special place every year for my birthday. Perfect for a romantic overnight with spouse. Loved the snacks. Have stayed in cabins 1, 5, and 6 so far. Will be back next year.

Was a little disappointed that the spa jets did not work in unit 1 the night of Feb. 19. Ceiling window above bed great for stargazing, but not sleeping in. Will bring a sleep mask next time.

The Glen Ellen Inn Secret Cottages are absolutely lovely! The owners have done a charming job with the decor both on the interior & exterior. The atmosphere is truly enchanting, & the attention to detail was impressive. We loved staying there!

I don't have a single complaint. It was wonderful!

This amazing location on a beautiful creek, adorable cottages, the most comfortable bed, beautiful grounds, fireplace and jacuzzi in room was everything and more than we ever expected! We were shocked that the shower turns into an actual real steam room. Karen, the owner is just delightful and takes such pride in her property. All the little special touches, snacks, kind notes, made each day special.

Quite frankly, there wasn't one thing we didn't like. Other reviews wanted a microwave, but I say go out and enjoy the many incredible restaurants and markets just a few steps away. We found no need for one.
