The service at this hotel was outstanding. From the valet when we arrived to Milan at the front desk who was absolutely delightful, it’s obvious that the staff are trained to be friendly and courteous and helpful at all times. Everyone we encountered (even the bellman in the elevator) were truly exceptional. What a pleasure just to be there. We were going to the UCD graduation and the hotel is about a two minute walk to Golden 1 and old downtown Sac and the Capitol Mall are also minutes away. Our room had a nice view of the Capitol building. The breakfast was good but a bit slow. It was reasonably priced compared to other hotel breakfasts. I would highly recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness and above all service.

Only minor issues were coffee machine that didn’t work (could totally see where housekeeping wouldn’t have known that and could have easily been replaced if we’d had time) and thermostat that was hard to use and stayed lit up with a bright light all night.

Nice big rooms, and very clean

Pillows are very hard. Also the breakfast restaurant looked amazing, but due to a busy day with UC Davis Graduation, they made it reservation-only. We were not told about this earlier, and neither were the front desk workers. We were able to get refunded for our breakfast vouchers thankfully, but it was quite a let down as the restaurant looked great and the breakfast voucher looked like a great value.

The location was amazing , our concert was just right there. also we were able to walk to old sac and go look around. staff was wonderful , it was pretty cool to see the night life haha just to expensive for us to stay when we visit.

The bed was not comfortable , someone was banging on the door next to us at 330 in the am until 415 , not hotels fault but than i was just up the rest of the time.

Uber friendly staff. Great advice, amazing sense of service. Location is good for some downtown visit / 10mn walk from Old Sacramento. Breakfast was very tasty. For a one night stay, perfect.

For the amount paid, a bit short on shampoo and bath gel. There was none. No biggie, but still. We were on the 4th floor and the soundproof from the street is definitely not a strong point.

location and esthetic. nice bar. would’ve been better if they didn’t have an incidental and had fans everywhere blowing 24/7. but accidents happen.

parking, no place to hang toiletry bags in bathroom, no mirror by window desk area, nobody came to clean the room or offer fresh towels. 2 small paper coffee cups for a 2 night stay with 2 people didn’t work. only 2 k cups as well.

I really loved the location in regards to how close it was to the golden 1 center! I think they have fair pricing and excellent room quality! Staff makes you feel safe and welcomed in every aspect definitely will be staying here again!

Parking is very limited so you are sort of forced to pay the $45 for valet

Friendly staff. Great beds. Spacious room. Perfect location. Hotel was well prepared for the Ironman event with early breakfast, transport and bike allowance in the room (i love that)

I loved the jazz/music theme and the historical value. The location and convenience to Golden 1 Center was the main reason I chose this location.

Beyond the hotel’s control: it was difficult to get an Uber pickup at the correct location. But, the hotel is working on this with Uber.

Loved this hotel! The interior decorating was beautiful with unique artwork. Staff was amazing. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Though pricey, the Food was absolutely delicious. The room was clean and the bed was extra comfortable. Loved the free breakfast!

I only have two complaints. Number one would be the barn door on the bathroom. Barn doors don't offer the privacy necessary for a bathroom. Pillows were a bit too hard.

Convenient, serves the purpose. Staff friendly. Basic and no crazy things.

Room way too big. Wasted space that I don't really use. No amenities at all (?) On the first day room cleaning did not come - I don't particularly mind but just curious to note. A bit too expensive.
